Time Tracker vs OnTheClock.com Comparison

My favorite feature is the search for certain date frame. Has saved me so much time when running payroll. I also love the ability to show Payroll amounts!! I appreciate the ability to clock in folks who forget or adjust when they forget to punch out. This is a must have for us in our yearly expenses going forward.

I feel like the sending of timecards to quickbooks could be better implentated. You have to really dig to see where they're at. It's easy enough to pull them up ontheclock so it isn't a big issue.

Track the time for employees accurately

GPS tracker does not really work and does not give the actual location. Employee violations warning are not too obvious to the employees

This software is very easy to set up, use and customize. Anybody who uses paper time clocks needs to look at this software, it has saved me so much time with several clients. No more adding up time cards, time sheets and tracking down time reports!!!

Occasionally some employees have had issues with the mobile app not working quite right, but that may have been fixed as I haven't had any complaints for a long long time.

This product is very user friendly for both employees and administrators.

Everything has been fine for us with this software. We did a test run on a few competitor platforms and that made it easier for us to make the decision to stay with this one.

The ease of use, how much time it saves me. I no longer have to worry if my employees are adding time to a hand written time sheet.

I like it 100%, we put this on all computers and set it to where the only place you can clock in is at your desk so when you log on you clock in.

I like the option to change the times if some one forget to punch out, and that you can use it from your phone.

I think the thing that I like least is when we all the messages pops every time I need to check the weekly hours for the employees.

Great price, easy to use, and actually works, unlike other time clock apps. Its easy to send payrole info to my accountant. Their customer service is very helpful whenever I need it.

Sometimes the user control panel is a little hard to figure out if I am trying to use different features, but their customer support is always there to help.

All--the calculations of time. Being able to set a time that employees cannot clock in before.

More accurate than people just writing their time in. Definitely cuts down on people cheating on their time sheets.

I recall when first downloaded that I had an issue with the GPS employee tracking function but have not needed it since. I will re-attempt to use this function and see if issue still occurs. Other than that, I have had no issues and have no complaints with the sotware

I like being able to set PTO and Vacation time, and manage it on line

That I am not able to print a calendar from the system so that I can see who is scheduled off PTO/Vacation time during the month

Easy to use, inexpensive, mobile app available and easy to use, easy to add/delete employees, includes mileage

I have no cons at this time. We mainly use this software to track time for employees.

This is the best product all around. The ease of use, the support, having a mobile and desktop version. I can't say enough good things. I'm very busy so something very powerful and simple for our company has been great!

The ability to log in anywhere and on any device to put hours in for employees, as well as being able to save the time sheets externally.

Adding time to individual employees should be easier than how it is now. You have to go up to the top of the screen every time you need to add time.

I have to account for every minute to make sure our clients are billed appropriately and this app is a time saver that functions as needed.

There were a few update bugs that caused me some anguish, had to do with automatic log out every 3-4 times I used the app, seems to be fixed now.

Downloading of time cards into quickbooks

Have not come across any major glitches as of yet. So no Cons yet.

You have to pull a person up two or three times just to enter their PTO. It would be so easy if you could just pull up an employee one time and enter their PTO time.

Easy to set up - implement. Easy for staff. Easy to access. Security lock down features makes it trustworthy.

Would like to force staff to change password more routinely. At some point when the staff get larger, the price can go from very affordable to questionable.

Hi Patricia, Thank you for the kind review. Regarding the price, our pricing per employee actually decreases with the more employees you add, so no worries there. Also, your employees do have the option to change their own password as long as you have this option turned on. How you can turn it on/off is go into the Employees tab, select the General Tab, and scroll down where it says Additional Options. You will see "Allow Changing Password" and you will have the option with a drop down box. Hope this helps :)
