We are thoroughly enjoying using Toggl Track. Its intuitive interface and powerful features have significantly streamlined our time tracking and project management processes. The detailed insights provided by Toggl Track allow us to analyze our productivity effectively and make informed decisions. Overall, it has greatly enhanced our workflow efficiency and organizational transparency, making it an indispensable tool in our daily operations.
- The easiness that we can track our daily time - The way that we can easily see reports - The Client, Project, Task and Tag hierarchy - The fact that Toggl helps education organizations
We didn't find anything that we dislike.

Toggl Track helps me stay focused and keeps me from multi-tasking. There are times that parallel tasking cannot be avoided and I can't track such activities at the same time but that also helps me decide which task is bigger or more important and that's the one I would choose to track. Pomodoro timers have been a great tool for keeping track and setting a limit to time I spend on tasks but there are times I get carried away because I'm just seeing my timer running out. Toggl Track helps me see how much time I've spent on a task and helps me decide whether I should defer it for the time being and take a proper break from it to recallibrate.
Toggl Track time tracking is easy to use with just a tap of a previous activity. The calendar view makes it easy to see and visualize how the day has gone and how much time is left before or during an activity I've set on my calendar. Events I've placed on my calendar can also be converted into a time tracking entry.
It's tedious to get started from blank, with no examples of activities or projects. I'm not sure if it is my device but sometimes the app loads slowly that I've spent half a minute waiting for it and for me to set a new time track. It may seem like a small amount of time but if it accumulates throughout the day, that's a couple of minutes enough to be doing something else instead of just waiting for an app screen to load properly.

I'm not on the billing side, but I love how simple and easy to use the daily time tracking is. As someone who is always very engaged in their daily tasks, I am constantly forgetting to start and stop my tracking times and Toggl makes is so easy to work around my own personal errors. Desktop notifications help keep me on track and allow me to focus without having to worry as much about always logging my time. It's also nice to not have to worry about editing a wrong entry. It's just plain, simple, and easy to do and that's what makes it good.
Overall: Ease of Use - Tracks time using a start and stop clock - Tracks Idle time with multiple options related to how idle time is handled - Allows detailed information for each job - Saves frequently used jobs to aid in daily tracking - Allows for tagging and grouping - Easy and intuitive to change times and dates on current and past time entries Overall, I can't get over how simple it is to tag...
There is room for UI/UX improvements as well as overall functionality. Searching for past job entries doesn't seem very intuitive. There seems to be a higher learning curve for those on the billing side. I also found it hard to find past entries when looking for specific time that needed to be tagged for billing purposes. I wish there was a easy access search bar that would allow for you to easily search for all past time entries (and show grouped). Seems to be lacking when it comes to the search functionality and job history overall.

This really didn't solve any business issues. We wanted to become more co-ordinated and understand if we were hitting budgets and estimates, deadlines etc. This made it more disjointed than having no software
The interface is very nice. Visually, this software looks great. Other facets of the software such as Toggl Plan work well.
Our team tried to use this software for about 6 months. The result: No one tracked their time. We moved to Harvest a couple of months ago and since then everyone has tracked all of their time for 40hrs/week. The issue was the UX - tasks don't integrate well with other users. There's no company projects set up that everyone assigns time to. You either track against another team members' task or you...

Toggl Track feels like I've come home. It integrated smoothly into my working day and solved a small problem that saves me a lot of big headaches when I come to invoice and quote for freelance work. I trust Toggl to take care of my time.
I love Toggl because it is so easy to use and so forgiving. It ticks away on my desktop or on my phone and I never worry about whether or not it is working properly -- it always is. It even reminds me in an unobtrusive way, with no irritating beeps or jingles -- if I've forgotten to start the tracker, or if I've been idle for a while. I love the fact that I can tweak my time entries if that is needed (sometimes I've been idling, or I've switched projects without amending the timer). When the time comes to send out invoices, I can use Toggl to quickly and easily create reports with all the hours I have worked on each project.
Toggl occasionally gets big updates that happen quite suddenly. I think I'd like an option to hold back on them, as there are some busy days when I don't want to deal right away with an update on a piece of mission-critical software.

In a few words: Simple and wonderful experience.
I have been using Toggl since 2016, and I experienced how Toggl has become better and better, nailing it with specific integrations that impact positively the productivity of my team. Even though we use some task management tools we always use Toggl to manage our projects time and timesheets. I like how simple it is to use, and how it syncs information between devices.
So far, I haven't found something I don't like about Toggl time tracking software. I believe Toggl team are doing a great job.

We are able to track productivity for our entire team on Toggl. We export this data to Excel to create a dashboard with project time logged vs time worked (40 hours).
User friendly! Very easy to navigate and understand. I like the color options for projects as well!
I wish you could use "bulk edit" of projects across multiple pages, or have the option to view all projects on 1 page. Maybe more report options would be helpful too (productivity calculation). Time worked (40 hours) vs total project time logged. So maybe a field to enter a productivity standard by project. Example: Coding Report [20 mins]

I love using Toggl to track my time as a freelancer! My clients appreciate that I can give them an exact breakdown of where my time goes, and it helps me maintain focus on my various projects.
As a freelancer that needs to keep track of my hours spent working for multiple clients and across multiple projects, I LOVE Toggl. I cannot stress enough how much easier this has made it for me to track my time and accurately assess what I'm spending the most time on. I especially love: - Toggl's free plan includes enough basic features that you can get a good feel for the software without having to commit - Ability to break down tasks within projects means helps keep timesheets as specific as possible, which my clients appreciate - Chrome extension is very easy to use, and reminds me to track my time whenever I'm online - Autotracker and idle time features are both extremely helpful for holding me accountable + keeping my hours accurate
In my opinion, Toggl is the best time-tracking software on the market right now. That being said, if I had to list potential future improvements: - As someone that multitasks / hops around between projects pretty regularly, I wish there was a way to run multiple timers at once or otherwise account for this - Mobile app, while a handy offering, isn't as easy to navigate as the desktop application

The best part about Toggle is that I can see all my representative detail in one look! The application is basic and direct to utilize and route. We can get to the undertakings by means of work area PC, versatile or any gadget. We can include notes and remarks for every section, subsequently its simple to sort and compose passages. Accessibility highlight is exceptionally hearty, with only a watchword...
The vast majority of the organizations for the most part incline toward a venture administration framework with a period following module instead of only a period tracker, so if the application would give venture administration as well, it would be simply heavenly! There were circumstances I experienced bugs as I had to go at exchanging between workstations. We can't utilize the device in disconnected mode.

I really love this app and I think more people need to have this time tracking application in their toolkit for 2016. I tested a lot of apps like this but Toggl really impressed me not only by the features, performance, design and cost effective but also by the fast responses I got from Toggl Team. They sent to me also some interesting gifts in february 2016 and I really think I will recommend to...

I can't use it without having the Internet On. (will be a great idea to have an option to track the time spent on your laptop and when you have the wiffi available again to sync the time)

Toggl Track is easy to deploy across Mac, Windows, and Linux systems. The app is fleshed out and syncs time with reminders for checking the final timesheet for the week on Thurs/Friday.
Serving as a managing editor for a mid-tier website means ensuring we have coverage at all hours of the day. Toggl Track makes it easy to see who is assigned where and when we should expect them online to cover their shift.
I don't care for the idle monitoring because it's not a valid way to insure employees are productive. That being said, it's easy not to use.

As an independent management consultant, I need to keep track of the hours I spend working on various projects with multiple clients. Not only does this help me bill appropriately, it also helps the client know exactly where their money is going when they work with me. This is the first program I tried for timekeeping and over two years, I have never felt the need to switch to try or switch to any other program.
I have used Toggl from the moment I started my consulting business. I love that it has both the "timer" feature as well as the "manual" feature, which is what I use the most. I appreciate how I can have unlimited clients and projects for those clients. The reports I can run from Toggl are perfect: I can run by week, month, or custom time period and by client + all projects, or just by project. I run & download the colorful monthly reports and provide this information to my clients, and they really appreciate the detail. Toggl is easy to use, has great features even in the free version, and does everything I need for it to do.
I have yet to find anything about Toggle that I don't like. I recommend it to every consultant that I meet who asks "What do you use to keep track of your time?"

Despite the drawbacks mentioned, it's still so easy to just login and get tracking that I use this tool on personal projects and individual freelance clients.
It does exactly what you'd expect from time tracking software, and the interface is much more simplistic than some alternative tools. That means if you just need to jump into it and start the clock, then you can easily start your tasks and be effective.
The reporting features are less intuitive than they could be. I find the lack of subtasks for projects a real constraint if you needed this for complex tasks. So when it's time to move my tracked time from Toggl to my invoice, it's just not quite as slick as the tracking aspect. It's still doable, but just a bit more convoluted and less capable of handling complexity than some competing tools.

It's made time tracking really seamless and gives me brilliant data to understand how I use my time, which helps me make more robust and realistic plans.
Brilliant UI, increasingly easy to use with other project management software, makes time tracking not just easy but actually turns it from a chore to a really helpful time management tool. Really good to have calendar integration.
Occasionally there's a minor glitch. I'm not in love wit the colour scheme. I would like more functionality on the mobile app.

Awesome development team that squishes bugs fast.
I've been using this tool for a while now and I love that it is super easy to track your time.
Price? In my opinion, $10 is a bit too much for me to spend personally on this. If I removed some of my subscriptions to other tools, though, I would purchase a subscription.

I like that Toggl is easy to use. Minimal setup required. Create your account and start tracking your time. I also like that the system gives you the ability to add client names, and create different projects under one client "folder". The system sends you handy weekly summaries to show you how many hours you spent on your projects over the previous week. You can generate reports to send to clients, as well as get an overview over the last few months to see how your time was divided amongst projects. Even if you don't bill hourly (I don't), it still helps you determine how long you've taken on a project, so that you can better estimate how long a certain type of project takes you. This way you can bill more accurately and helps to ensure that you're making profit.
I wish there were more colours to choose from when assigning clients a colour. Once I've used them all once, it becomes more of a challenge to quickly associate clients with colours in my mind. But that's pretty minor. But I think that's a potential improvement for future (albeit a small one).

I subscribed to Toggl specifically and only for the time tracking feature since I was looking for a tool allowing me to keep track of the time I spend on single projects while my day is often fragmented in several activities for different customers and projects we need to track on hourly base. For this reason, I was looking for a tool allowing me to do just that: I didn't want to spend more time creating milestones and tasks and planning work ahead of time, I just needed to start a timer, track the time, stick it to a project and, at the end of the month, get a report of it. Well, Toggl does just that and it does beautifully. . . . And Toggl says it took me 10 minutes to do this review. Done.
I'm pretty sure that Toggls isn't perfect, I wouldn't be objective otherwise but up to now, I didn't find something I find missing or could be improved. I didn't feel any lack of features since I was basically running away from overly featured tools and found one that has just what you need.

I credit our use of Toggl as a primary driver in getting additional resources in our department. We were able to visually prove how much time was spent on entry level tasks by staff who were trained to do much higher level tasks. We used the data collected from Toggl to advocate for an entry level staff person to free time up for others to work on higher level, more big picture work.
Very easy to set-up and use. You can create projects and group tasks together to get an idea for a given week how much time you spent in meetings, on a project, or working on specific tasks. It allowed me to advocate for myself and my team for additional resources as we were able to prove how much time we spent on a weekly basis doing tasks that could be delegated or improved. The ability to provide my leadership team a visual representation of my time and my staffs time was invaluable during budgeting and resource allocation time. You were able to manually enter time if you forgot to start your clock or end the clock. Toggl has countless integrations so you're always able to start and stop time and accurately record your time from any device, anywhere.
No major issues to report. Obviously, it's incumbent upon the user to record their time accurately. Overall, the experience was tremendous and I have not complaints.

easy and quick to set-up. easy for for me to add and remove others so I can track their time on my projects as well as assign tasks. Has a lot included for a free tool, and that is something very rare nowadays!
This is a great if you have never used a time tracking tool before. You can even include a small team on the free plan!
I find the direct integrations limiting, but toggl can be integrated with Zapier. Which is probably why it's direct integration listing is so small.

It was very easy to get staff up and running and trained on how you use the application. We liked the visual indicators to differentiate between projects, and the various views to see daily and weekly progress. We definitely improved our tracking, and therefore our billing, and the ability to quickly and easily switch to different projects meant there was little to no downtime for our staff.
Toggl was a great find when we started realizing we needed to do a better job of tracking time. The best features are the easy to use UI, and a display that shows the user a task by task view of how their day progressed, as well as a consolidated weekly view where you can see a more holistic view of where time was spent. The dropdown project selections are very intuitive and when you forget to stop tracking, it is easy to add manual time.
A downside to adding manual time is that you have to interrupt your time tracking to do it, unless it was earlier in the day. Ultimately, what made us move away from Toggl is that we realized we were paying for multiple tools that were really good at 1-2 things, and we needed a more complete system. We ended up migrating off of Toggl and a few other applications for a more robust project management system that also had a time tracking module, saving the company quite a bit of money in doing so.

Toggl Track is a solid timesheet application which is easy to fill in and maintain. Pulling information or reports from the team is solid as well.
The best part of the software is the User Experience (on desktop, mobile is lacking). It is easy to log, tag and mark your time billed or unbilled. There are integrations to other products we use as well, such as Jira, which our team uses to help log their time.
There are features that are behind the price tiers where the value would be nice, but too much increase in cost. Locking timesheets and scheduled reports should come in a cheaper tier.

When we get lost in the details and need an objective reality check on where our time is going... Toggle is there to save the day.
Time tracking shouldn't take a lot of time. It also shouldn't get in the way of what you're trying to do. Toggl doesn't do either - making it the perfect tool if you're looking to stay on top of your day, down to the minute. It's simple to use, allows you track across all your projects and activities and even lets you share reports with others. And it's easy to use. Plus they have an app for any device you can throw at them, which means you have no excuses not to know where you're putting your time and attention.
The only thing lacking from toggl is a physical button or device integration. There are a few physical time tracking devices out there, but their integrations with Toggl leave a lot to be desired. To be fair though, this isn't Toggl's fault, but rather the maker of the devices - but still... it would be great if Toggle worked closesly with developers using their APIs to ensure that the physical experience of Toggl is just as great as the digital version!
