Our Internal Agency group has been using Workfront/ AtTask coming up on 3 years. We started with 50 users and at last count, we were over 130. It has become an indispensable tool for request intake, project creation and management, reporting, resource management and cost tracking. Prior to implementation, we had a 4 person Traffic department that had to utilize 3 different platforms to track creative requests. We were always behind and our on-time rate for projects was hit or miss. Very frustrating. Within weeks of implementing AtTask we were able to easily manage all of our requests (approx. 150 per month) and track thousands of hours of task time on various creative requests. Our Traffic team is now down to 1 FTE generating more information and tracking more requests than we could ever have imagined. The software has passed through 3 major iterations and improvements come down the pipe to us each month. The company is responsive to our needs and requests. This is not the cheapest solution out there but it is a terrific value!
Pros
- I can't imagine any large enterprise that would be too big to use Workfront. Properly configured, it can handle any size and number of projects
- easy to learn, easy to use. Adoption by new users is quick and worry free. 20 minutes training gets a new user up and running
- reporting tools are awesome.
- the ability to adapt this software to any kind of process make it useful across many areas. We are finding new ways to use it each month.
- the collaboration part of each project makes it comfortable for all to use. Everyone sees everything in one place
- SAAS makes it available anywhere there is WiFi
Cons
- it is an expensive solution for small companies.
- some nomenclature is confusing
- some of their processes are a bit clunky but they are being re-worked continually

This is a low cost online payroll system that will help starting and small business with little budget in payroll manpower. Customizable reports and modules are also good features of the software.

The tool is effective for creating a project where a large team can keep track with the project status. It makes the project more productive and allow to gain time. @task (Workfront) is packed with features but the is pricing is high when compared with other solutions in the market, it is more suited for the higher end market
Pros
Easy web-based navigation but reading the documentation is a must to fully understand the scope of the product.
No software installation is needed
Cons
Pricing means it is only for certain company sizes

Our company has been using Workfront (formerly AtTask) for over a year now, but our department is just not integrating it. While it is a good tool, everything has to be custom written for your use. The subscriptions are not cheap, and do not include instructions or classes.
Pros
Adaptability, customizable, better, faster, and more accurate reporting to directors.
Cons
Lacks instruction/training for initial setup.
We work with multiple regions. Previous to Workfront every project was assigned a project number consisting of the two letter system code Tyler, Texas (TL) the year (5), and the project number in order that it was received. (TL5001) Now we have to us a 7 digit Workfront auto-generated task number, that has no at a glance meaning for tracking. We are working to include this information in the project titles, but we are not sure how well it will work since it has not been implemented yet.

I like that Workfront is cloud based and very easy to use.
It provides collaboration on all projects for everyone in our organization.
Replaced all Excel spreadsheets and brought them into Workfront. A single source of truth.
Workfront gives everyone transparency to their projects down to the smallest detail.
Cons
Getting use to the way Gantt charting works with Workfront was changing.
Would like the Resource planning to be a little easier to use and explain.
Pricing model is a little tricky and can get expensive if you do not plan correctly.

The biggest thing is controlling the chaos and putting all project related info in one place.
Pros
The tool allows use to build standardization across the global network while allowing for some customizations for individual business units. The tool also has a ton of features that allows a business unit to grow and mature in the tool and in the industry
Cons
The biggest thing for me is the price. It is an expensive tool and so some business units have to do weird or fancy workarounds to reduce the number of licenses purchased. This means they are not using the tool to its fullest potential.

I do not want to schedule a demo and waste everybody's time. I called sales and they would not tell me the price. WTF?

Our overall experience has been great so far. The support staff have been helpful and we are loving it so far
Pros
Workfront is very customizable when going through the implementation process and it can make your workflow much easier and production should improve over time
Cons
With Workfront being the standard when it comes to PM that focus on creative services, it is far from being cheap. Thats really the only down side to it but on the other hand, you get what you pay for which is a great product

Have actual time for project work has opened our eyes to the fact that we are not great at estimating our work.
Pros
It is very feature rich. Time entry is super easy and we are just starting to use the Resource Planning which is very cool thus far! It is clear that Workfront used best in class design for this new module.
Cons
It is not well suited to the developers who need to update their information. The cost is very prohibitive for expansion in higher ed. We cannot afford Fusion or to expand our planner licenses to improve adoption across the college.

Pros
Of all the project management software I have used, I love Workfont the most. It's so easy to collaborate between teams and stay updated on project development. Also, the program feels more intuitive than things like Asana or LiquidPlanner - almost like you have a real PM right on your desktop.
Cons
The price but once you get setup with this product you'll wonder how you ever worked without it.

Very limited experience due to lack of a free trial to test the software. The demo looked promising but the pricing options were not a good fit for our current needs.
Pros
Ease of use, ability to share with other team members, ability to combine tasks for a complete project
Cons
Free demo but could not locate a free trial to really test the software. Pricing packages were limited and not able to be custom fit for our specific needs.

Tracking time is the relish of all time so far. Workflow management.
Pros
I like the way Workfront has enabled me to see the projects of my colleagues, as well as mine.
Time tracking also has been way too easy with this great tool.
Cons
I do not like the way Workfront lacks some features such as offline access capabilities.

Workfront is a great web-based project management platform. It is well-designed, and the company continues to make updates to improve it's platform and does not just sit on their hands for one annual update. It is very easy to link projects, manage workflows, the reporting is intuitive, and much more. In addition, asset management is streamlined with ability to house documents within projects, or as my company does for larger programs that span multiple projects, create an actual Document Repository project that can be used across multiple boards. The community is very engaged and admins and project managers can speak together to help figure out the more advanced parts of the platform and how to help arrive at the endpoint your are searching for, wherever possible. They have phenomenal integration with other platforms, with options to have full DAM and more, but each add on increases the price (naturally). Even as they develop, they tend to have beta areas and accept feedback to continue to improve before they launch something that would impact the entire platform.
Pros
Well-designed
Continual Updates from Workfront instead of waiting to fix problems
Ease of linking projects with cross-predecessors
Managing Workflows
Reporting
DAM
Engaged community with other Project Managers to discuss best ways to utilize Workfront
Integration with other platforms
Cons
I am interested in almost all that Workfront has to offer, but to have everything it can do can be cost-prohibitive. My company has utilized other platforms, that may be less efficient and harder to keep everything consolidated, simply because of the additional cost of utilizing the feature in Workfront.

Overall it is a nicely designed program, but too expensive for us.
Pros
Excellent for managing pieces of our business that needed to be accessed by our remote employees
Cons
A bit too expensive for what is offered. You can easily set up the same features in a shared google drive account for free.

I've used Workfront since 2008 and find it an excellent tool at a great price point. The company is responsive to customer feedback like no other company I've seen. The best asset they have; however, are their people who are top notch!
