The features of Jira are very useful, help track multiple projects with ease. Helps a ton in collaborating with other team members efficiently.
It has limited number of software integrations. Error notifications can be annoying sometimes.
Jira is pretty straight forward. Once you get used to how to set up a Jira, and subscribe to notifications it works on auto-pilot helps to get track of complex issues, resolution and monitor progress.
If you accidentally click on the wrong name, the submitter gets a notification when it is assigned, and then another notification when you fix this by assigning it to the correct name.
Slack integration is super useful and the ability to write JQL and integrating with Google sheet is immensely useful.
Sometimes Jira does not work for some time and that makes it hard to track work. It has server problems often.
It is so easy to get started with Jira. They have awesome integrations into other atlassian products as well (we were using Trello before) so switching to Jira was almost seamless.
Some of the staff have had trouble understanding how to use and onboard the system. It could definitely be more intuitive- training staff on the system has been a bit of a struggle.
Atlassian is known for making good products with good value for money, and Jira is part of this good suite.
The fluidness of the software while using it is the best thing. The interface and ease of use is very high quality.
Option to picture of any size and re-size it is fantastic, also option to attach documents in your comment or tag people to increase visibility is great.
The software offers excellent reports, customizable dashboards, a great interface to track tasks, and is very useful to module the development.
Amazing tool, especially when I have any kind of issue with IT or have to submit a request to my employer. I always get automated responses and the user interface is pretty easy to get around.
Although the standard fields are great, you can also create your own to fine tune your processes. Workflows are also highly customizable, giving the user-base great flexibility on how work is set up.
It provides great reporting, due to which I can evaluate our progress. It has save my time and my energy to carry out our task more effectively by keeping everyone collaborated.
We use Jira for IT help desk support, miscellaneous administrative and clerical support, staying focused on engineering and resource planning. We've gained several benefits.
I used to collect information on engineering tickets to do accounting allocations of costs by project but our other teams were very happy to use it to track the progress of projects.
It also integrates very well with other related apps such as Atlassian and Confluence, both of which are extremely useful when creating a full-featured help desk solution.

Good for helping a team see what other team members are doing, and allowing work to be tracked effectively. Helps to keep deadlines in mind and on goal.
To me this may be more important than planning as the lack of project visibility might put the project at risk more so than a poor plan.
Helps you to keep a track of all your project activities and schedule all your tasks. The tool is easy to use for beginners and helps to understand its working with less time and great efficiency.
The only dislike that i encountered in Microsoft Project, is that it is desktop-installed; other than that nothing.
Extremely robust and powerful tool once fully understood. Fairly simple construction of charts and data visualization, and the ability to expand capabilities within the software.
Sometimes it gets confused. Also, sometimes working with multiple teams and multiple people per team, it has a hard time allocating resources.
I Work with Microsoft Project since 2010 and this is the best tool to project management, they have a great community so knowledge curve is fast and easy.
What I dislike about Microsoft PPM is how expensive it is to use and how little I actually use the extra functions.
I can export file to excel or pdf for clients that doesnt have Project. Very good to track budget and project amazing for management.
The integration with other products of microsoft really makes this a good choice for project managment, it's easy to use and helps to make more efficient the work flow.
Overall I have enjoyed working with this product because it is user friendly and easy to navigate.
Task scheduling and other project works are managed conveniently using this software. The variety of reports generation is the best because it helps you to maintain your pace of the project.
Overall very useful once you learn all the capabilities. Recommended to use if have a larger work community.
I feel like this is definitely a great software when working on multiple projects and having it all stored on one cloud.
Great product for its pricing. Recommended for project development.
Microsoft PPM is a strong, well-detailed program that allows good goal setting and forecasting. It definitely covers all your basic needs for a company in a professional manner.
This is the perfect software for projects including ones where you manage resources and have complex constraints.
This software is integrated with other microsoft office softwares so that software is user friendly.

Allowing to open MS Project files is a great advantage, even though you cannot save your file back to MS Project it is a good option if you receive a file and just want to take a look at it.
Projectlibre has crashed on me a few times, and that has caused my work to get lost.
One thing that makes it our preferred option is that it cost effective and also has a user friendly interface. More to that i like it s hierarchical organization of projects.
Sometimes, when trying to create new tasks, all the diagram mess up and it is almost impossible to relink all the tasks again.
Also, the printing capabilities, wherein you can adjust the timeline scale and paper size formats. This is the one of the amazing features for an open-source product.
So far as I have been constantly using this product for a number of years now. I think a project header title is missing.
It can be installed on a Windows and Linux computer. Am running ProjectLibre on a Linux computer and it is really the best alternative out there in the market to Microsoft Projects.
Some features are hard to find as not much categoried where it should be, but once you practise you get used to it.
ProjectLibre is a great tool that replicates all features of MS Project to create project management plans.
It is an easy to use and cost effective project management tool.
A good alternative for low budget planning projects.
But this product, ProjectLibre has been a very useful tool in getting things done in the office.
Graphics are certainly attractive. One can shift the whole time line back and forth if the project dealine is extended while still maintaining the order of modules that are to be attended.
Our company is oriented towards open-source softwares and previously we were using TaskJuggler2.3.1 which has also powerful but has it's own learning curve issues.
