Pros

The Help Center is wonderful. Any time I have to call I get good response and answers to my questions.
Getting better over time, but the best of the bread so far. Hope they can maintain their competitive pricing and rapid development and not let it reverse like their competitors.
It has been a fantastic experience, many of my colleagues have switched to AppFolio and are as excited as I am to see what they add next, as they are always improving their product.

Pros

The best thing about HippoCMMS is excellent customer service. Quickly and courteously responsive, the reps discuss in detail the various questions and suggestions brought forward.
And I have an excellent experience with the support team. Sometimes we have in-depth discussions on how we can improve our expertise about Hippo and finding solutions to our requests.
I love that there is a minimal learning curve. I can limit abilities for each user but make changes as they learn and become more comfortable.

Cons

I hate change and had built a cumulative system of various software's to support our business. The idea of dumping all that into one system was scary and took some adjustment.
We have had new clients furious with us homes did not get listed or shown due to appfolio changes without warning. It really has gone from a 9 to about a 6 overall in the last year and a half.
Example, you can now email tenants/owners from their page. If the email does not go through there is no notification so we are unaware that tenants/owners did not receive our communication.

Cons

All the hiccups and errors. A lot of minor issues that can be very frustrating and make using the system kind of a pain at times.
I have had a few negative experiences with the support staff.
Although the documentation is in English, the communication fails.
