Pros

I have really appreciated the great support that I have received from AppFolio. They will call, e-mail, or set up an appointment to contact you to resolve the issue.
It allows me to assemble data into reports effortlessly and quickly and allows me to find info quickly. It is the most important and successful business decisions I have ever made.
Overall AppFolio is a great software system that is fairly easy to use. The customer help is great and I have not had anyone that hasn’t been prompt to respond, courteous and helpful.

Pros

Since the beginning, while having a trial version, they won me over with their courteous, polite, professional, wonderful customer service.
I like the extensive Knowledge base, and the opportunity to learn as much we want to. I like the willingness the company has to implement new ideas into the software.
I love that I can create a website and be able to share what we love most about our property. The settings are very nice and the actual software provides user easy access.

Cons

We have had new clients furious with us homes did not get listed or shown due to appfolio changes without warning. It really has gone from a 9 to about a 6 overall in the last year and a half.
I hate change and had built a cumulative system of various software's to support our business. The idea of dumping all that into one system was scary and took some adjustment.
The charges appear on the tenant account but you can not print out a bill which is required in my state. A have spoken to them 3-4 times about this and even wasted an hour in a conference call.

Cons

And worst of all, it is a PAIN to actually every get paid. I have been trying to get paid for 6 MONTHS and haven't actually received a cent for the vacation rental that was booked.
The lack of upfront explanation about what happens when you integrate Airbnb. If you already have an Airbnb account, it will change your settings; no one told me about that.
Delay in getting answers from support team due to time difference has been a problem.
