Pros

The Help Center is wonderful. Any time I have to call I get good response and answers to my questions.
Getting better over time, but the best of the bread so far. Hope they can maintain their competitive pricing and rapid development and not let it reverse like their competitors.
It has been a fantastic experience, many of my colleagues have switched to AppFolio and are as excited as I am to see what they add next, as they are always improving their product.

Pros

Excellent combination of powerful member management tools with integration into a great website templates. Absolutely fantastic even for non-IT professionals.
The annual dues collection was great as well as the ability to make different areas for different levels of membership. Then registering for events and collecting money was easy.
It's an affordable service and well worth every penny. The ability to integrate membership management with our PayPal account to nearly eliminate the need for visits to the bank to deposit checks.

Cons

I hate change and had built a cumulative system of various software's to support our business. The idea of dumping all that into one system was scary and took some adjustment.
We have had new clients furious with us homes did not get listed or shown due to appfolio changes without warning. It really has gone from a 9 to about a 6 overall in the last year and a half.
Example, you can now email tenants/owners from their page. If the email does not go through there is no notification so we are unaware that tenants/owners did not receive our communication.

Cons

Terrible- looking to cancel and request refund for 2 billing periods.
The sign up process was difficult and confusing.
We do have a very talented group but there is still a bit of nervousness since events are unable to be compartmentalized by a user or a department.
