Pros

Price is great. The desktop version is very easy to maneuver and adding and deleting appointments is simple, as is updating patient information. There's color coding which I love. The online booking feature is very simple as is the adding to my calendar subscription.

Cons

I HATE that I used to have texting reminders and it was removed and ClinicSense wanted to charge an extra $10/month... $5/month I could've gotten behind but not $10. I also don't like the mobile app. It's slow and I don't like having to scroll down. I have made appointments on the wrong day because the app doesn't seem to catch up. I'm not sure why I have to Save any changes I have done before being...

Hi Sabrina! As was originally mentioned, there was an error on your account where you were receiving features from a higher priced plan. Since SMS reminders cost money to send, we had to correct that mistake. It's for unlimited SMS, where many other programs charge $0.08 to $0.20 per message. We regret that the initial mistake was made, but provided a few options for moving forward and gave several weeks notice that we had to make the correction. In the next update of our forms you'll be able to see all past versions rather than just the current version :)

ClinicSense has come a long way in the last few years. When I first started using it, it was clunky and felt unrefined. In the last 6 months they have added a lot of new features, and ease of access.

Pros

The price was fantastic, it was nice with the automated reminder texts, and online booking.

Cons

The mobile app doesn't work for my phone (Samsung s10), but the web-browser clinicsense.com works fantastically so it doesn't affect me too much.

So easy to use

I felt that I was paying too much for what I was getting with my last scheduling software. The complicated login with my previous software was too much for a lot of my clients. Clinicsense gives me everything I need to run my practice. It is affordable. It's easy for my clients to use. It was easy for me to use. The online forms have saved me time with my clients. The support staff have been quick to respond to any problems that I have.

Pros

ClinicSense is very easy to use. My clients do not have a complicated log in. I love the online intake and Covid-19 forms and the convenience of soap notes with each client. I also like that a health history form is sent to clients each year to be updated.

Cons

Clients cannot control their future schedules. No auto payments Very basic financial reports No client schedule app

Amazing Canadian product

I have been very happy and impressed with the customer service and quality of the software. They developed a great app that works well with different products so I don’t have to feel cut off if I need to use it on my phone. I recommend clinic sense to all my colleagues in the business. Also my clients love the text/email reminders and ease of the online scheduling.

Pros

I like how the developers listen to what the consumer wants and come out with relevant updates showing they listened to our needs. It is very user friendly and I believe that mostly has to do with the developers working with the consumers wants/needs.

Cons

The price is higher than other competing software that is similar. The middle option works best for my clinic but is a Hugh price for a single user clinic.

More efficient, professional, & less clutter from paper files

It's been great! wish I used ClinicSense much earlier in my career!

Pros

During the early days of the covid pandemic, going paperless and having less exposure to clients before appointments was important. Now clients fill out their intake forms online and they do not have to arrive early to do so like anymore. Furthermore, Clients have expressed how professional the confirmation emails and intake forms, and confirmation and covid pre-screening emails are sent automatically which saves me from having to remember to send them. Lastly, the ability to do my charting or book clients from anywhere using any device is great. Oh and the financial reports are helpful come tax time

Cons

don't dislike anything, however I do wish there was a number count at top of schedule for me to quickly glance at to see how many appointments I have booked that week so far rather than counting them. I like to have set mini goals. Also I wish text reminders wasn't an extra cost. I would love the option for clients to choose if they prefer email or text reminders (without costing me more).

Happy With ClinicSense

Overall we are very happy with ClinicSense. The price is extremely reasonable and the service we receive is excellent.

Pros

We are a team of not very tech savvy people, so ease of use was very important to us. All of the how to guides are helpful, and if there is anything we don’t understand or need help with, the staff is always very quick to respond and very friendly. We like having all of our booking, charting and sales reports all in one location.

Cons

We’d be happy to see the option for individual practitioners to set their own cleanup time without having to customize treatments, and to schedule vacation time conveniently. Nothing major, just a few little ideas here and there.

Clinicsense vs. Jane

Great overall experience!

Pros

The Clinicsense software attracted us because it was very easy to use compared to some other Health Care software systems, and it was much more cost effective. The customer service is phenomenal, emails are returned very promptly if ever there's a question!

Cons

There are a few possible improvements that would make Clinicsense really stand out! 1. multiple locations would be ideal 2. enabling logos on each email/client confirmation/reminders to mark our business brand ! 3. When an appt.request is DECLINED, the "reason" at the bottom of the email is TOO SMALL and goes unnoticed by the client, so they are reluctant to reschedule and their email is not available...

Easy to use and affordable

We have been using clinicsense for over three years now. It is super affordable and the customer service is great! Definitely recommend.

Pros

I love how easy this software is to use. Its online booking is seemless. It is also very affordable. Since we are a small business, this is a must.

Cons

The only complaint I have about this software is that you cant require the client to fill out an intake before they make an appointment. However, I have looked everywhere for this feature and it doesn't exist.

Total business changer!!

I LOVE this program. The price is incredible for what you get. Within the very first month my productivity increased, my money increased, retention increased with easier scheduling and intake forms readily available, and the list goes on. Even the simple form for invoicing and in taking how the money received is a game changer. This program also made me realize more money was coming in than I thought and to get in gear with a better budget. Give it a try, you wont regret it! I have been through every big name program over 14 years with several different salons and spas, but I found this to be the best choice when opening my own brick and mortar location.

Pros

Very user friendly, ease of use, app is also available for when I am on the go

Cons

I have not run into any negatives so far using this program

A good entry level software for small businesses

Great customer service, no technical issues, clients love it!!

Pros

It's a Canadian company!! My clients say Clinicsense is very easy to use and they love the convenience to book online at any time of day or night. They also appreciate not having to create an account and have to login each time they want to book an appointment.

Cons

There isn't a lot of personal customization. I wish you could customize the SOAP/clinical notes instead of having to use their templates. The point-and-click template is too vague, but I hate typing i.e. I'd love to see more drop down menus when you click on an area of the body to list specific muscle involvement. Also, the monthly cost is a little expensive for businesses with 5-8 people and even though it's a Canadian company, they cater to American clients e.g. "cheque" (Cnd) is spelled "check" (USA).

Easy to use, big time saver, helpful for extra COVID precautions

This software freed up lots of valuable time for me. I really wanted to be paper free and its nice to have all my appointment, payment and SOAP notes all in one easy to use place.

Pros

I loved that I could completely customize my intake forms. I feel like the price point was more than reasonable when considering how much time it saves you in automating things like appointment reminders, recurring appointments, ease of entering SOAP notes, COVID prescreening questionnaires.

Cons

It might be that I just haven't figured this out but I wish there was a place to record tips in a way that it would show up when I pull reports. As it is I've been recording them under the notes section for each individual appointment which works fine but it can more time consuming when trying to get a look at how much I took in month/year.

Easy to use for partioners and clients

For the features that I use, I really enjoy this software, I would easily recommend to any health care professionals, it even lets you set up your own short hand(ABR) so if you want to do your notes online exactly like you would on paper that is an option.

Pros

I really enjoy how easy using this software is, Clients have no issues trying to book appointments which is of the most importanance to me. I also enjoy being able to use this software on any device. It makes stepping out of my office into my real life a little but simpler, i don't need to bring my computer everywhere, but can still access my schedule and notes when necessary. The price point for the software is very reasonable, I have no complaints about this. I recieved customer service through text and this was perfect for my needs.

Cons

I haven't used all the features, so I can't say what I really likw lease, I would choose to set up the soap notes a little differently if it were something I was designing just for myself as a massage therapist, however I still have no real negative to associate with the use of the software.

A review of ClinicSense software in a sole RMT clinic

This software has been a great asset in my practice. It is affordable, adaptable, and the customer service is excellent. My patients are happy, which make me happy. I would highly recommend this to any RMTs that are practicing on their own, or within a multi-practitioner clinic setting.

Pros

The ease of this software is amazing. It is user friendly and logical. And the customer service is prompt (and an actual person!). My patients love how easy the interface is, and that they have more control over booking and rescheduling their appointments. From the back-end, I am able to customize many of the features to suit my practice.

Cons

I see that ClinicSense continues to improve and add to it's features. Two that I would love to see are: 1. Annual Receipt - many of my patients who do not use benefits would like a receipt at the end of the year for their taxes. I need to do this manually. 2. I would like to be able to assign specific treatments to specific days, instead of all my treatments each day. For example, regular massage W-F; massage with essential oils M,T only; and thai floor massage Saturdays only. As it is right now, I cannot assign specific days to specific modalities and have to manually book these treatments.

Great program with a great cost!

Amazing. I have only needed to contact support once or twice and received help immediately. Never had an issue with the website being down when I needed to use it.

Pros

-User friendly, very easy to use -Clean appearance -Nicely organized -Provides all relevant financial reports needed for a solo-practitioner -Patients report that online booking feature is also very user friendly

Cons

-No product inventory feature -Products must be sold linked to a service provided, cannot issue a receipt only for product purchase -I would like to be able to customize how gift certificates are sold online (i.e. - only allow a service to be selected and not have a cost option) -Gift certificate templates are not customizable (ie- cannot add a 'note' to be automatically included in very purchase - from the clinic side and online purchase side) -Payment options are not customizable (i.e.-cannot add insurance company as an option, can sticky only select 'insurance')

Pros

ClinicSense is the absolute easiest software I have ever set up. It was so simple I thought I must have done it wrong, but I didn't. My clients also love how easy it is to use; schedule, reschedule, or cancel and appointment with a simple click.

Cons

ClinicSense could use a few additional features to make it easier on the back end of things. The number one thing I would like to see is the option to schedule multiple services at the same time. For example, if a client wants to book a massage but then also wants to use our sauna or add on a paraffin dip they have to go into ClinicSense two separate times and pick the two separate services for different times. It would be much easier if once they choose the first service they were asked if there are additional services they would like to add. Then they could schedule multiple services back to back with the same therapist. The second thing I would like to see added would be an integration with Square.

This software has been very helpful in my practice in all the reporting function and ease of access for my patients to book with me online. I also love that I don’t have paper files anymore!

Cons

I had a few issues to set up a second room on the system where the technical support staff weren’t all up to speed on how to do this but it had been resolved and works great!

Make the switch!

Totally satisfied! Should have made the change at least a year before I did; would have saved me hundreds of dollars.

Pros

The customer service was invaluable during my change over. Prompt, efficient and helpful! Once I made the switch, I realized there were more features with clinic sense for a fraction of the cost of my other provider! I can’t say enough about clinic sense, try the free week(s) available to you and you’ll see!

Cons

At first I didn’t care for the screen layout; however after a week of daily professional use I didn’t notice a difference.

Great Value for an Online Scheduler

I know this is relatively new software, but it already has all the features I need, it’s easy to use. Also, developers seem very attentive to the suggestions they receive. I’m a fan!

Pros

My customers love the text and email confirmations they receive. I like the integrated SOAP note, POS, and treatment history features.

Cons

As a business with two therapists that share an office, it’s sometimes challenging to use the mobile app which only shows one therapist’s schedule at a time. So, I toggle back and forth between the two schedules; it’s tedious, but it works when I don’t have a computer handy while booking an appointment. If there was an option in the mobile app to view view both schedules at the same time like there is for the “day view” on the full version, I would say this software was perfect. There are a couple reports I would like to see added like payroll, but overall, I’m satisfied with the administrative reports.

The bang for your buck with this software is incredible. The convenient scheduling and how easy it is for clients to use for document input and self booking is the best

Cons

There are less options for customizing SOAP notes in this program but the available options are definitely more than enough for day to day use

The Best Booking Software

Its so easy for clients to book! I love that I have my own personalized page, and clients are so happy with it. Its also so cool to save time during the intake as clients can fill out forms prior to their appt, which means more time on the table. Bonus!

Pros

The ease of use is phenomenal. Its aesthetically pleasing and my clients really enjoy it.

Cons

I would love to have the ability to upgrade as there are some great options but the cost is quite high and im the only practioner. If i could add some more services to my account that would be awesome.

The only software you'll need if you're a Massage Therapist.

I love the professional look, the support is top notch and fast, it protects a therapist time with credit card capture upon booking and allows you to customize your cancellation policies, etc and has the client sign this as acknowledgment.

Pros

Professional look and usability. Price point. Amazing customer support. Ease of use.

Cons

That you can't add a memo in the appointment for other therapists to view or that shows up when viewing your weekly or daily schedule. That is signs you out everytime you do a sensitive area consent. I get it but it's time consuming for therapists. Upon payment it would be great to just click paid (exact amount) instead of adding the amount. Most clients pay with CC the exact amount. So it just would be great again for time management.
