Tech support was readily available and always able to answer our questions. Thanks, GolfStatus for helping us raise over $150k with just 3 weeks of planning for this event!
We loved having one place to send our sponsors and golfers for all of their registration and purchasing needs. The ease of assigning sponsors to holes, golfers to tee-off locations, scorecards, cart signs, etc made outing day logistics much easier for us to manage. Our sponsors appreciated the mobile app signage as much or more than the course signage.
Would like the ability to make onsite purchases (drink tickets, mulligans, etc.) from the app to be easier. Would like golfers to have the ability to make changes to their team information after initial registration and before the day of the event.

Great software and tool, OUTSTANDING customer care/support. I've used other tools and pulled together my own tools (Constant Contact, Paypal, MailChimp...), GolfStatus made my life so much easier. I am a fan and loyal customer for life. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was an outstanding liaison from an account perspective and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was always there when we needed him for administrative/website support. Really impressed with the tool, but LOVED the support from start to finish.
The software was easy to use as the administrator and easy to use for our golfers and donors. Not complicated.
I would like to get the sponsors more "eyeball space", perhaps on the front page. I know the Tech Sponsor is a big deal for GolfStatus, but I don't like that we have to go to a separate tab to see the sponsors.I also would like to be able to load my marketing list and create an outreach tool via GolfStatus - I use Mailchimp, I'd rather get rid of that and have it all integrated into the same platform.

Great product that facilitated our most successful event, yet! Great customer service and wonderful team to work with.
Ease of use by the admin plus users, very easy to learn and any questions were quickly answered.
That I can't use it in other areas of life! But really all around no complaints.

I don't know the firt thing about golf tournaments and GolfStatus makes it possible to run a successful event. The website is super user friendly and literally does it all for you. We've used GolfStatus for our event for the last two years and it's been wonderful!
First, the customer service is outstanding. Any question or problem I have, they help quickly and efficiently. I love that it's a one stop shop - register for a team, purchase add ons, sign up as a sponsor. I love the ability to look at payout reports. The options of how to view and download the data is great.
Sponsors are asked up upload their images but they aren't high enough quality to use for signage. This means we have to ask for another logo from our sponsors. There is also no good way to download the images from GolfStatus. Last year we had the complaint that the website didn't work properly with browsers other than Chrome. As a Chrome user, I didn't notice and I don't believe we had complaints this year, but I wanted to note it in case it still needs addressed.

Really enjoyed the opportunity to sell sponsorship packages and and use your industry partnerships that ultimately benefitted the event financially, provided on course event and activities, and ultimately made the event a great experience for all levels of participation. I really enjoyed setting up the landing page and it did its job perfectly as a landing page.
I left detailed noted on the prior form that I think will be beneficial for the direction of golfstatus improvements and new features if considered!

GolfStatus offers a simple and professional way to present your golf outing to prospective players.
GolfStatus could potentially make it easier to move players into teams with drag and drop functionality or by creating an interactive spreadsheet where changes could be made in real-time.

Excellent from start to finish. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] and team delivered in every way from the first demo, to having a useable live registration page up and running in short order. Every question along the way was answered in a very timely manner. Can't imagine a better experience especially given this was the first fundraiser golf event I've ever run.
GolfStatus platform is exactly as advertised. It takes the challenging, behind the scenes planning, tracking, and fundraising (and collecting!) and makes it a simple, significantly less stressful process. The technology itself, for me as an ADMIN, for the Golf Professional the "day of", and the end user agreeing to play and support, is very simple, intuitive, and user friendly.
First time user and frankly can't come up with anything to "improve" it!

GolfStatus was huge in the success of our outing. The staff and support of the site were top notch.
The customer service from building the site to tournament day was top notch. First year we’ve hosted this outing, we would not have been nearly as successful without the assistance of GolfStatus.
Limited on the image size/shape that could be uploaded for sponsors. An administrative way to add teams without applying payment.

The registration of our guests so as to eliminate onsite registration was one. Many older golfers wouldn't download the app. Needs an easier registration number. Also, create a template that is easier to read. Designers forget that small type and type in light grays are hard to read and make it more difficult to set things up. Looks good but not practical.
As a first time golf chairman it helped me organize the golf portion of my event. It enabled me to sell a sponsorship that was never consider (Technology sponsor). If the program did nothing else it helped create this sponsor and got us one sponsor that helped pay for the event with their donation. All other donations went directly to the charity.
A non profit has certain needs. One is mining the information from the program. They found it difficult to move information from GS to their other programs. PDF's although look great an excel sheet would have been more useful. Information that was downloaded into excel was not in one place. The other thing is that without the online help I would have been lost. As it was I didn't realize I had to terminate the event for the computer to calculate the winners. Non golfers might have a problem understanding the terminology used. Lastly, find a less expensive way than STRIPE especially when you are dealing with a charity.

With the uniqueness of our event we relied on our GolfStatus rep, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], quite a bit. He was fantastic to work with and anticipated a lot of our questions and came with solutions. For those things that [SENSITIVE CONTENT] didn't have a ready solution, he was quick to take notes, work behind the scenes and then reach back out with help. The service that he provided is one of the many reasons we will be returning to the GolfStatus platform for our future events.
We loved the ease of setting up our event and smoothly managing the process along the way. The software is very intuitive which made my job as the lead for our event, the easiest it's ever been.
Our outing is different than many because we hold two separate competitions within the same outing. We have a scramble competition along with a best-ball competition. I'd love to see the platform handle that a little more smoothly. But we were able to workaround a few things and get everything set up in a different manor. I realize that our event is different than 99% of the other outings so this is a little bit of a selfish request.

We will definitely be using GolfStatus for our tournament next year. Overall the site, app and support has made the tournament planning process so much more efficient! Being a nonprofit with a limited staff, this platform was a lifesaver and allowed us to put on such a successful event in a very short window. I can't recommend this product and team enough to nonprofits that are currently putting on golf tournaments to raise money!
Loved that it handled all registrations, sponsorships and event scoring in one central location. Incredibly user friendly, but if you have any confusion, their customer support staff is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY. They responded to my requests on Friday nights and even helped me fix a scoring issue THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT. They worked non-stop to make sure I had what I needed for my event to be successful! My golfers loved the mobile scoring software and being able to track other teams' scores in real time. Heard only incredibly positive feedback from all of the attendees using GolfStatus.
They allow you to sell add-ons like mulligans, improved tee shots, etc. for additional revenue, but their registration downloads don't include those, so we had to manually add them to our registration print offs. Very minor inconvenience, but that is the only thing we really noticed that we wished we would have had.

Using the GolfStatus software system made our event easy to manage. It brought our old paper registration system into the 21st century. I also appreciated the immediate customer support via the chat. I always received help within 5 minutes of requests for support.
I wanted to have more access to details in the report. Some details could only be added by the customer service representative.

Once you understand how the program works, it was very easy to work with!!!
Our team was relatively new to golf. Golf Status and the support team members made it easy to use for all of our events.
It is geared for Golf games, when there is additional games of various types (tennis, footgolf, pickleball) it only manages ticket purchasing.

The ease for our sponsors, donors, and golfers to use this platform was remarkable. The staff support we received from beginning to end was exceptional! The communication from [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was over and beyond helpful in planning our event. We plan to use this platform again for our next fundraising event!

The only thing we can think of is that we had a couple of golfers who wanted to pay by check at our event and we were not able to add a single player to the platform. We could add a 4some team but not a single player. This was not an issue at all though.

Easy to set up and use overall! I needed the help to have someone walk me through how to set up. They held my hand and then some. I could not have done it without there support.

Very user friendly, both internal and external facing!
The tournament management tools are very straightforward and easy to use. The customer support team is also extremely helpful--always able to answer questions and help with more nuanced sponsorship/registration questions.
Sending emails out through the golfstatus site was rather confusing. It would be nice to be able to see message recipients and more details!

The software was very intuitive and user friendly. The customer service was great and timely. Best of all, it was free for my non-profit foundation!
There were some technical limitations with the design of the website and some behind the scenes registration issues, but otherwise it worked great.

This was overall a good tournament site.
This offered the golfers a way to pay for their tournament and use it during the tournament.
Sponsor Logo implementation was the biggest issue I have with the software. It would be great to have a back-end tool that would modify the logo that a sponsor uploads. I had to use canva to create 90% of the logos to fit the size required for the site. It would be good to have it interface with Paypal or Square. We had to set up another online payment platform to use this site.

What wasn't there to like! This was a smooth and easy transition to new a software platform. MUCH better than using spreadsheets to try to manage everything. Everything worked extremely well and did just what I needed it to do!
If there were any negative aspects to the golf status platform, I did not find them.
