How to Choose Personal Trainer Software: A Handy Checklist

Suzie BlaszkiewiczAnalyst

They may be built like machines, but personal trainers are people too. Despite their sometimes superhuman-like strength, a lack of organization could be their kryptonite. From avoiding scheduling conflicts and setting up personalized nutrition plans, to keeping up with their client's progress and making sure that their client payments are coming in on time, personal trainers have to flex their mental muscles in order to stay organized.

I'm sure trainers would agree: staying organized is the one place they'd prefer not to have to lift a finger. With a personal trainer software, PTs can stay on top of their training game and avoid straining their brains too much.

What to look for in personal training software

Before making a decision on which personal training software is right for you, you'll have to consider things like:

  • Are you an independent trainer or a gym-based trainer?

  • Is your client roster big enough to start using software?

  • Will your clients be able to access all of this information effortlessly?

Below is a checklist for choosing personal trainer software that takes the grunt work out of the personal training process (at least for the trainer).
