I have worked with millennium/ meevo for over 20 years now. meevo is great and well constructed above many other salon/spa softwares out there.
the reporting is great to really see what's happening daily in company. smart centers are great for coaching and goal setting. meevo is always open to make changes and add new functions for the changes in industry.
some reports are too broad and not always detailed enough but there have been some new changes that are nice. once a new idea is implemented it takes so long for it to go live.

Excellent support and training for the entire staff. At any moment we can chat or call for assistance, as well as the incredible online resource Meevo “help” which I use almost daily for clarification. There are many webinars and o going trainings that also provide additional learning opportunities as we grow our knowledge of the system. We are very impressed overall and happy with our transition.
Bottom line, Meevo provides a fully customizable software that is dependable for the needs of our growing Medical spa and salon. As a 30 year old business that has changed for a salon to a high level spa, we needed a dependable and intelligent booking and reporting system that would give us everything and more. Meevo has some quirks, but overall our transition and training was smooth and seamless with a few exceptions.
Transitioning from our past software (Phorest), we lost all guest service history. This has been a challenge, however six months into our transition we have adapted. Gift cards also became a large concern as many transferred under “anonymous” instead of the guest name, causing us to have to rely on stored PDF form to look up many that are not located easily under guest profiles.

My overall experience with MEEVO is outstanding! We have been approached by other vendors who cannot deliver the quality of tech support, integration and reporting. MEEVO takes business to a higher level of success backed by quality training, Inspo, and metrics.
Meevo checks all the boxes for client management, staff management, inventory, marketing, online booking, egift cards as well as amazing reporting capabilities to track everything from payroll to metrics. It's a no-brainer for any savvy business owner in the Salon/Spa, Massage business.
The interfaces with external vendors don't always work seamlessly. For example, we use Salon Clouds for our SOAP notes and duplicate client management requires a bit of extra work on our end.

Exceptionally responsive to us (their customer).
Cost of set up and monthly fee. Opportunity for add-ons. MEEVO pay Transaction fees and streamlined process, data analysis, retail and customer focused. They get it.
Would like it to add EMR for small purely medical spa practices.

In the cloud and anyone can access it at the salon or at home
Credit card migration , had trouble processing credit cards. Have been told it is fixed , but not tried it.

Very pleasant experience
It has all the functions I need to run my salon. Very easy to access reports.
Just having to search to find the correct report can take a while at first. Once we became familiar it has been easier.

We love the functionality of Meevo 2- there are so many features for each position in the spa and customizations that can be made to suit the business.
Tech support takes a while to get ahold of which can make it difficult as we are open seven days a week and do not have hours to spend trying to sort out technical issues. Once set-up and finished with the on-boarding process, things were smoother.

Overall, I’m delighted with Meevo. I couldn’t imagine running my salon without it.
Ease of use and navigation between all of my daily tasks. Also, having any metrics you want regarding the business.
Not being able to automatically have tips shown as payout.

There is no other software better then meevo !!!
I live 40 min away for the salon having the ability to log in from any location and see reports book appointments or create a sale is a game changer Especially right now durning covid closures when The salon is closed I’m still able to retail from home and access vital reports
I with the reports were listed by employee name not job title I wish meevo was connected to payment processor, online store and quickbooks in Canada. That would make things so much better Oh tech support is amazing once you get to someone but being on hold for long periods if time then told you need to stay on the phone while they work our issues is not ideal for salons. Thankfully we rarely need to call them

The reports that we need are very easy to read and our accountant even likes it!
It is very easy to use weather or not you are tech savvy or not and they have a fantastic and patient support staff that make calling quick and easy!
For hair salons I wish they would ask what we would like added to help with adding options that are only Salon specific

It has been a good upgrade for our spa overall. I trust that as it grows the updates will fix all kinks.
I love the ease of moving from one report to the other. It was easy for our team to switch over with minimal training. The basics are simple.
It is hard to run the very detailed reports without researching or reaching out to meevo to fine them. Specifically how many eyebrow waxes did a person do this month.

The program has been very stressful for our staff. We are having to call customer service almost daily for the same issues. I feel customer service is not sure of the program. We have been very disappointed in the software and the customer service. Not being able to exchange gift card packages to a dollar amount has been a hard transition. Because we have had to create ways around that. My numbers are not correct . So I feel I am not getting a true picture of our business.
The fact that our old software could be transferred over. (Somewhat successfully) We were very excited for the transition, upgrading and taking our spa to a new level.
The inventory process is much more difficult. The need to go into different screens to edit products, check pricing, print bar codes and adjust inventory counts. In Millenium this was all easily done in one screen. Being so limited in being able to edit tickets in case of human error when ringing people up. PayRoll , I feel there should be more ability to check and edit to ensure payroll accuracy. Also not being able to adjust the days payroll can be run. Program is extremely limited from an owner or managers stand point.

If you are looking for a very basic salon software, Meevo is it. Look no further. We have used it for decades.
The design is extremely outdated, and it’s very hard to change prices.

As a professional, consultant, and educator in the beauty industry for 18+ years, I have worked with too many locations to count that have used and trusted Millennium and are now converting to Meevo2. The continued relationships, support, and education that this company offers is hands-down the BEST!! I have made a recommendation for several colleagues and locations to make the switch to Meevo2 and it has completely taken their salon/spa businesses to the next level in ease of use, communication/focus with their teams, online booking, and growing their business with the reporting capability. I am very happy over all and am looking forward to utilizing all the data from year to year!
It covers every aspect of our salon. It is easy to learn and we love all the numbers it tracts. The inventory is nice to track on this software.
I feel there should be a more detailed learning of all the reports, what they mean and how to find the reports needed. I wish you could edit a ticket after completing it.

Excellent product and we couldn't function as smoothly and organized without it.
We love Meevo because of the ease of use. I feel like the company is consistently finding new ways to make what is already a great software to use better. The ease of use for everyone from management to our employees makes it a really great product over all other softwares for our spa. There is so much within Meevo that you can do that it could be overwhelming for a new user, but with patience and time, a new user will find that it is a really beneficial software to use for everything from scheduling, inventory & overall spa management.
I feel like when we find things that limit us within the software, the company comes out with updates that remedy this. I love how the company is constantly listening to its users concerns and looking for new ways to improve.

My clients are saving money with Meevo because they are able to accomplish several tasks through this one piece of software rather than using a half a dozen programs. Unfortunately it is not saving my clients any time because of how slow the software loads due to its poor connection to its cloud based server.
This software has so many great features! Easy to find salon/stylists notes, automated reminders, simple restocking, and so much more. I previously used several tools to accomplish the tasks I accomplish with Meevo.
This software runs painfully slow. There were times where I would have to hand write an appointment and then add it into Meevo at a later time because I could not add the appointment into Meevo during the duration of the call because of how slow it ran.

I've used Meevo2 in my salon for years and couldn't be happier with it! I’m a huge fan of the reports, goal setting, easy to use interface, accessibility on different devices, unlimited support, waitlist, online booking, and automated confirmations.
Onboarding and set up with time-consuming. However, I'm thankful for the personal support from the onboarding team and the customization I was able to create.

meevo has made such a difference for us in our day to day as a medical spa. user friendly and has everything you need for inventory, pos, payments and refunds, texting and communicating with clients, sales goals, employee goals, memberships, analytic reports, finance, etc. literally everything under the sun
sometimes when meevo has an update it can tweak the system a little bit and cause a couple issues but meevo support is super quick and extremely professional and nice to work with

Overall Meevo has been one of the better products Ive used when it comes to salon booking software. I also love their CSRs. Wait time for help can sometimes be super long.
Bold colors make it easy to see and use. Works well with employees goal setting.
Unable to edit some things that many times need to be edited. Not great for salons that have independent stylists and employees.

So easy to learn and easy to use! Booking, Confirmations, Email Marketing, Texting, Online Booking-so easy!! Online Booking is better than ever with Meevo 2. Our guests love it! We love it because we can customize timing for each guest’s service. That means every guest is always booked correctly, even when they book themselves. Our entire Salon loves Meevo 2. It has been such a time saver and money saver for us. Because of Meevo 2, we have the time to do our best work and provide an exceptional salon experience. I highly recommend for Salons and Spas everywhere!
Since onboarding with Meevo 2 over 2 years ago, I have been through updates and improvments with them. They make updates and changes based on their clients feedback and it's been such a game changer.
