Overall, it's simply been outstanding, from the initial install, to the power of the software itself, to the support we receive whenever needed. It's been a 5-star operation from the moment we came on board 4+ years ago.
The flawless execution. Nowadays, most software systems do almost everything you need them to. But it's the execution that matters. A crude analogy would be how everyone was using Hotmail or Yahoo 20 years ago, and then Gmail came along and just did it right, so everyone switched. I used a legacy system (the largest in the industry) for 13 years before switching to this "upstart" back in 2017. The difference was immediate, obvious, and impactful for our operation. And that was back when they were an upstart, and the software was still in its relative infancy. They are now one of the dominant players in the market, and for good reason. The absolute best thing about this software, IMO, is the way customer communications are handled. It's partly an email client, part text interface, and part slack, all tied into one, flawlessly. It's never been so easy to communicate with customers, track interactions, and ensure issues are followed up with. Brilliant.
This is a tough question, as they keep improving. For years I had an issue with their promotions/coupons not being flexible enough, and that just changed - they made their promotions & coupons system one of the most powerful and flexible I've seen - just like everything else they have done.

10/10. From start to finish I've been impressed with its capabilities and feature that will help streamline aspects of business as well as enhance customer experience. The introduction to SMRT by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] really opened my eyes to what MY business needed and how well the SMRT system works. Quickly handing it off to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for a longer period of great training. Over a month [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] helped me get comfortable with things and show me the ropes. He settled many uncertainties and helped me shape the idea of the new operations of my business. He was always one email or call away- never skipped a beat. I am very thankful for his guidance through this process and would highly recommend SMRT to any dry cleaner I know because of the customer service I've received.
The feature and capabilities to enhance customer experience. The text program was much better than the competition. The training and introduction offered was and turned out to be excellent. The software puts the delivery company in charge. In my eyes this makes things easier and also helps allow more profit. SMRT seems to have everything you can think of to add to your dry cleaning business.
The format of writing a ticket and how layered in the settings are. I understand why SMRT doesn't have customers fill out a ticket before we pick it up - it's confusing and they don't know the difference between specific items. I think the storefront POS should have a clearer way to check in each item while the customers wait. The "closing ticket" process seems extensive to me The notifications could be a little clearer and be suggestive of how you should act on the new item.

I've really only dealt with 3 people so far. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was quick at replying to emails and very helpful in initial account creation. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was extremely knowledgeable about industry, competing POS systems, and SMRT's software and solutions offered. He had patience while I shopped around a tried to resolve issues with Enlite before finally pulling the plug. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is the man with the plan. Once I got to know him a littler better he really began to shine. He is a problem solver that had a solution/answer to all my questions. Only a once or twice were there things completely out of his control or not in his power to change. He can get things right directly while speaking to him on the phone or 20 minutes hanging up after MAX. He knows the software inside and out and his ability to code is very valuable. He also introduced us to several different methods of taking orders, assembling, and racking we did not do before that are a real time saver.
Being able to call a real person if I am having a problem. Strong customer base. Taking customer feedback and creating updates that make system even easier/ more efficient. Highly reviewed software from dry cleaning peers. As a small plant with no delivery yet, SMRT's systems will work for me now and as I continue to grow. Versatile software that isn't tailored for "one type" of dry cleaner. Several different channels of communication possible with customers.
The interface is not as aesthetically pleasing as Enlite. Card processing terminal is archaic and lacks modern technology such as apple and android pay, contactless pay, and chip reading. Despite this, payments are accepted 100% of the time which is a relief after switching from Enlite. There is a notable learning curve for older employees due to the software's complexity.

Incredibly fast and organized support, mixed with an ever updating platform allows us to automate where we didn't know we'd be able to before.
SMRT brings dry cleaning and delivering a great experience to customers into the 21st century. For decades, our industry was underserved and with SMRT on the scene, we are equipped with the finest software to run a world-class organization.
I thought we needed an app to appeal to the newer generations. Actually, couldn't be further from the truth. SMRT delivers in every aspect.

In my opinion, a POS is only as good as the support team behind the software. The support team behind SMRT POS is knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. Nearly all of my support requests are solved the same day, typically inside of 2 hours.
Bringing new team members up to speed is very easy and much faster than with any other POS we've used in the past. The layout and functionality of the software is intuitive so it's easy for people who've never worked at a dry cleaners to learn their jobs quickly. Another feature I love is the reports or KPIs as they call them. I, and each of my team members, have access to the information we need to to provide our customers with the highest level of service. You can customize the reports available so that everyone sees the same reports, or you can customize down to the job role or even for each individual user. Probably the best, and most polished, function is the route module. It just plain works, and it's been transformitive for our business.
When we signed on a year and a half ago, the software was still a bit raw. The support team has been fantastic, and the development team has been consistently fixing flaws and rolling out new features. Nearly all of my frustrations have been resolved.

Our overall experience has been great, SMRT always seems one step ahead!
There isn't just one feature I like but multiple. To name a few: user interface, the pickup/delivery module and notification/communication center.
I feel the Master/Sub relationship could be pushed further by SMRT for better reporting and distinction between address for On-Demand/Static route.

The software is so user friendly and powerful that my entire business runs on it. It is the complete CRM software, front to back. Not only is it easy for me to manage my business, but it is also even easier for my customers. They can do all the scheduling, communication on their own.
The only thing missing is SMRT does not have A mobile app.

From the change over to the delivery for my business the SMRT Systems way far the best easy teaching employees how to work the system my customers swear that the texting to let customers no the there Dryclean orders are done is far the best in our industry!so glad we went with SMRT!
There is nothing not to like it is very easy to teach employees how to run there system and there tech support .very professional there are on top of anything you can ask for them to due love all of our guys and gals at our tech support for the best !

It has greatly improved our company. Most of our employees are cross trained and know how to mark in, assembly and deliver. It’s so simple to use. No one has just one job anymore. Support is super helpful and easy to reach. Accounts receivable is very clear and we now have counter employees handle when one person used to previously.
We are very happy we made the switch to SMRT. It is a simple easy platform to use and training employees. Assembly has been much more efficient and contacting the customers is very easy through the software. I like that it is browser based so I can login in whenever and where ever I need to. Set up is super easy and I am able to install myself instead of calling support.
Batch emails and texts. I wish I was able to email all customers a coupon or info about a new service from SMRT. I go through mail chimp to send batch emails.

It’s so hard to write good reviews for products and services that you love. But when it comes to SMRT I could talk all day long. The business is run like a family and once we decided to chose there software it was like gaining a whole new team pushing our business to the next level.
Smrt allows you to follow real time the daily ins and outs of your business. I am able to physical leave my facility and check in remotely. This was a huge step in me being able to devote time with my family and given me back control over my business.
We signed up early so they needed to work on some things. We rolled with the punches and the people at smrt answered the bell.

Best support and system for taking dry cleaning into the 21st century
The extra communciation features for my team and our customers. The ease of use. The delivery and route optimization features to help build and organize our growing Pickup and Delivery system. Has incoporated into our marketing efforts beautifully.

I am very pleased with how the software is performing and the functionality. It has made communication with our customers more robust and streamlined. Issues I have posed to the company have been listened to and actual changes have taken place based on recommendations. I have Implemented around 15 different software products on a large scale in my career and I would have to say this was one of the best experiences so far.
Very easy to implement, train, customization for my business, ongoing product development, listen to the customers suggestions for improvements
Very minor data migration errors on go live. Need to be a little more diligent about reviewing imported data to make sure it is accurate and relevant.

I have been able to control and manage my business with full confidence and transparency from afar. Furthermore, since using SMRT I have also integrated a pick-up and delivery service to our companies business model, I do not feel it would have been possible to grow so rapidly without the assistance of SMRT's delivery module. Lastly, the ability to communicate with our customers automatically, instantly and intimately helps separate our business apart from the rest of our market. There literally is no downside to using SMRT Systems.
Having the ability to seamlessly run all facets of our operations under one user interface and the program is a game-changer. Not only does SMRT run our A/R, inventory, lot Management, delivery routes, customer promotions, communications, etc. It quite frankly is the easiest to use and train, which is priceless in our industry.
As with any transition or change, it takes time and a growing curve. However, this is not something uniquely individual to SMRT, just the nature of transitions software platforms. I have no cons when it comes to the daily use and function of SMRT (which speak volumes!).

The people behind it! It seams in this day and age, most software has bells and whistles, some of which do the same thing, only its a step by step process to get to results. SMRT is quick about it!

The customer support is hands down the best. From the demo to the instillation and now use, the support team at SMRT have been there. This system compared to my last POS is 1000% better. Easier to operate, staff and customer friendly.
There is really nothing that I don’t like. The only issues that I had was when my data was merged from my other POS to SMRT. Some of the customer info was mixed around, but the staff at SMRT was there to make things correct.

Overall experience has been positive. They move quickly to help on technical issues and rarely leave things undone.
I like the advances they have made in pick up and delivery as well as the ease of use for the client looking at our company.
There is a lack of ability to truly service in city buildings in a clean and functional manner on the route. SMRT system is able to be modified in so many ways that you may run into conflicting opinions on the best way to crack your specific nut. This ambiguity leads to confusion on implementation and training.

Overall the experience has been great! We have cut way back on the numbers of calls we used to make to customers, the amount of paper we handle. We used to have to void and rewrite tickets when mistakes were made, and now it is so much easier to change and edit tickets when necessary. Training drivers and scheduling pick ups and deliveries is super easy.
We love how easy the software is to use, the route app is terrific, communication through text and email has significantly cut down on phone calls, estimates are responded to very quickly and our customers love it. The reports are endless, we have hundreds of KPIs to help us with sales and marketing.
We have had a few challenges with the accounting; it works but the developers have promised to enhance it based on our feedback.

Our internal company communications, automation with management reporting, billing and customer resolutions have been the biggest benefits with the software implementation. What took several emails, manual phone calls and meetings with our management are now easily reported across all communicaitons channels and have reduced the time to resolve day to day processes.
The installation, training, and implementations were a breeze. Using SMRT software for our operations has allowed us to implement, automate customer communications and improve our operations over night. We are upset at that fact that we didn't switch over years ago. The training for our staff, drivers, markin, office, and production was incredibly easy. It has exceeded our expectations thus far.
There is not much negative to say. As we discover features we wish we had, their staff is attentive and responsible and always find a better way to resolve our operational issues.

Overall SMRT is a huge benefit to our business.
I love the route management. I love the ease of texting and emailing. I love all of the email/text/issue history you can access. I love the driver app. It's awesome. There are two features I'd love to see added to the route management side, but overall I am a huge fan.
I have only two complaints. There are two features missing on the route management side that would make my life tremendously easier. And it's difficult to get a simple "this date to that date" KPI sales for a group of customers. It's not accurate so I have to do it manually.

It’s been great! I highly recommend SMRT to anyone in the dry cleaning business to use this product.
The developers are always working to make the system work better. It already works great , but if there is something that you would like for it to do you can request it and it will probably get done. I also like that it is so easy to use. New associates can be up to speed in just a few days.
When to internet goes down, you are down.
