Hi Jamie,
Thank you for the honest and constructive feedback about our Point of Sale. We're happy to hear that Toast has been able to help 312 Pizza Company grow in ways Micros was not able to do for you, and we fully acknowledge that there's a whole lot more we want to do for you and your team moving forward. We hope that we can continue to learn from each other and help build a strong partnership through it. Thanks for being a part of our family!
Best Regards,
Cassy & the Toast team

Master Menu Management, Loyalty, Online Ordering, Order at the Table
Pros
Love the Master Menu Management so I can manage all of my restaurants from one portal.
Cons
The hardware isn't where it needs to be for a high volume like we have. The software is great, but the hardware needs to stand up to the beatings a busy restaunt will give you.

Hi Elizabeth, Mora from Toast here. I'm sorry this has been a frustrating experience. The process for applying relief credit does involve multiple internal teams, so thank you for working with our Customer Care team to resolve this. We have been investing in growing our Customer Care team to address the concerns of our community, but we recognize that we still have work to do. Thank you for this feedback, it's helpful to hear what areas need improvement.

Hi Robyn, Jasmine from Toast here. I'm happy to hear you are taking advantage of the reporting capabilities of Toast!
Good system, great interface for employees.
Pros
Hand-helds very easy to use and speed up ordering
Cons
Starting tabs as a bartender is a disaster. Other POS systems allow you to swipe a Credit card once, and it logs the #'s for payment and manes the tab using the card holders' info.

I would suggest this POS over any other I've worked with (Micros and Aloha).
Pros
Toast is an easy to use POS system. Managers and servers are easily trained on all functions.

Some flawed features that they need to get fixed. Inventory needs more checks and balances to make it more efficient.

Recommendations to others considering Toast POS
More beginning training...I was able to understand the system fairly quickly but I have an IT background. I know of another business who implemented toast and were very frustrated with the lack of training as far as making the menu. My advice would be to not focus so much on attempting to make the "starter menu" for the client but rather use the time to show them how to make their own menu from scratch. There are different little quirks about how every restaurant prices their menu, and while toast does extremely well in allowing for those, where they are lacking is making the customer comfortable in making those changes.
Below average. They've kept the software running at all times and that's a huge plus. However, they are charging top dollar and we were expecting a fantastic product. The product is only OK. The service has been spotty; at times good, at times not.
Pros
The POS portion is solid.
Cons
Generally it looks like a solid group designed the POS and then those people left or started working on other things.
