Pros
Some great resources and appreciated that they had our company's logo on them.
The software was simplistic, easy to understand, at an affordable rate with great customer service when it was owned by Partner XE. Partner XE sold the AMS to Zywave in the fall of 2022.
Brokerage Builder has been a great tool for us at Hays. We use it for our database in Benefits.
Cons
So unprofessional to hide behind the contract, with no grace period, and no lemon laws in insurance software.
Trying to onboard was a fiasco. It took weeks and money spent and hours on phone trying to onboard.
Nobody returns calls or emails when you have problem or want to cancel.

Pros

It helps me keep track of my renewals, policy numbers, and line of benefits coverage my clients have.

Cons

Some of the manual entry when setting up new clients or new lines of coverage. All of the fields that need to be completed.

Changes the way we work in the insurance business.

Pros

This is a grod solution for insurance firms because it gives us the ability to keep all our client file in one space that’s right at the tips of your fingers and is so easy to navigate. We can also easily find the policy details as well as attach documents and emails to it. We also appreciate the fact that reports based certain parameters be quickly generated and is very clear.

Cons

There are some instances where a certain field may not be necessary or applicable to some plans, but the program still requires you to fill it out. So I hope they add an option for indicating that.

Treating to send me to collections cause i have my own website now but they’re squeezing me to pay out a contract for What you have literally NEVER DO A THING FOR ME!!!

ZYWAVE - STAY AWAY!! Total Bait and Switch company.

NONE They took over Rate Factory (BAIT) and then switched us to Zywave that doesn't work. They just want money and don't provide a workable product.

DOESNT WORKZYWAVE - STAY AWAY!! Total Bait and Switch company. STAY AWAY!! Total Bait and Switch company. I have been in the insurance business for over 35 years and NEVER experienced this type of behavior from any of our vendors! Originally we were told that this product would meet our needs. It is nothing that we have signed up for and then the company said the product would meet our needs and when we tried the new product that they changed us to and it did not meet our needs at all. Therefore we have not used it since because we can not use it. Therefore we have no contract. I am requesting a refund of my money and request that they stop billing me. We had to go hire a different vendor during open enrollment and thankfully they met our needs and do not bait and switch like these scammers do.

Zywave Agency Management - Customer Service tanked after Zywave bought Partner XE

As of the posting of this review, we still have a current active paid Zywave AMS account, as well as the new AMS account, because until we get the backup copy, data we need is inside the Zywave AMS. Zywave has kept our agency client data hostage for almost 2 months which is a terrible business practice but one in which they can choose to engage in as the holder of your data. If you are ever thinking about purchasing Zywave as your AMS, I would strongly urge you to reconsider as you are knowingly putting your owned data at risk of not being released. The file format that Zywave (Partner XE) holds your data in is also already not in the most useful formats for most other AMS systems. If you have another leading AMS provider, I c an state that moving to Zywave from another provider will be a step back in the quality and integrity of the data files you already have. Moving from Zywave to another provider will either provide you with equally quality files or better quality files for your go-forward data.

Pros

The software was simplistic, easy to understand, at an affordable rate with great customer service when it was owned by Partner XE. Partner XE sold the AMS to Zywave in the fall of 2022.

Cons

Customer service plummeted and we could go days and weeks without replies to emails, support tickets or calls.We paid $300 for a test database backup initially. The cost for getting a "full and complete" data backup was reasonable at $1,000 and we signed the agreement and paid the $1,000. However when we received the data backup copy a week later than they promised, they sent only a partial backup with missing files. We brought this to their attention and did not get a reply for several days. When they did reply, they stated the new AMS needed to 1st verify that the files were actually missing, which the new AMS did. After that was completed, which took a week and verified the files folders referenced were empty folders (sending screen shots to Zywave) so not a complete data backup, Zywave then ignored the follow up requests to send the full backup copy. When asked again and again for a new complete data backup of our agency data, Zywave customer service, [sensitive content hidden] at Zywave (SIS) just ignored the requests to resend the full data backup. We have tried every contact email we can find to get someone who will respond. At the time of this review, Zywave has technically kept a large segment of our agency client data hostage for almost 2 months.
