Easy-Commission vs Paylocity Comparison

I like how easy it is to use and get around in.

The reports aren't always easy to find.

The ability the system allows for customization has been great. The interface is clean and reporting options are thorough.

The implementation was long and sometimes difficult. Even though the interface is easy to use and easy to change. Some simpler functions are missing.

This software has been a life saver for our business! Payroll is super easy and the customer service is fantastic. Helps keep our taxes in order as well

We use this for an HRA + COBRA benefits and it is easy to use.

Gathering reports was not an easy task, definitely something they could approve upon.

I liked that it had performance reviews, time tracking, and what I thought was customizable onboarding.

The teams are too siloed, sending offer letters isn't easy, it's not intuitive.

I like how there is many different things can use paylocity for. To be able to track time start work when and how long took for lunch and time clock out for the day. All while keeping track and calculating all hours work as well as keep track of pto time have earned so many more things are able to do view w2 info, state tax, employee benefits etc.

How it is not easy to first learn how to use some of the features.

The software is very intuitive. I could have someone run a payroll even if they had never been in Paylocity with minimal instruction.

Writing a brand new custom reports can be difficult. However, editing/modifying existing reports is easy.

I like it because it shows you in real time the tracking of your payment and make things convenient

The platform was easy to learn and easy to use. You could look up employees in many ways. Reporting was easy.

The system is not easy for businesses with multiple entities. Searching for and creating entities was difficult.

I really like their virtual check estimation tool. It gives an easy to understand snapshot of how much my gross and net pay are. I can also see my benefit deductions. They recently rolled out a new feature that will let me get paid on demand rather than waiting 2 weeks which is HUGE.

The web interface is a little difficult to use but the mobile app is so easy it doesn't matter.

Paylocity was a system that I used in the past at another company. It was easy to use and easy to get a hang of, I would recommend for a smaller company who may not need much assistance.

It was easy to use and easy to get a hang of, but our multiple EIN corporation made it difficult to navigate and search the platform. The customer service was slow and very subpar. Paylocity was too small of a company to handle the volume of companies it served.

We were able to completely customize our Paylocity instance for our business needs - which are unique and varied. You get partnered with a team member at Paylocity that helps you build out the tool and trains you on how to use it. Plus, all of this was available at a price point that was comparable to payroll software that does a lot less.

It is somewhat difficult to use for both admins and users. It doesn't have a simple/easy to understand interface.

It is safe and manageable, this app is good for payment too it has nice features of it.

Least is not so easy to use it has a lot of conditions nad terms but it truly safe your account.

Wonderful UI for understanding your total compensation picture. Breaks everything down in a digestible form.

Not always easy to figure out where everything is located on the website though including where you can download necessary documents.

It's really easy to use through your browser as well as the app. I like that you have the option to clock in as well as just enter your time in manually.

I don't really see a downside honestly. It's easy to use, all your Payroll and HR info is there if needed.

You can reset your password fairly easy, which is helpful.

This software is not easy to use. I can usually figure out the interface independently, however, I had to seek internal assistance.

Ease of having all HR related time reporting information at hand and well organized.

Sometimes it is challenging to find things but once you navigate through the tabs and learn your way around it becomes easy.

For the most part, this software was easy to use (back when my agency used it).

For the most part it was easy to use, but there were so many issues I would have with my time tracking and time off.

The employee end is easy to use so if there is a missed clock in or an issue with one of the rows we can easily have it corrected quickly. The fact that the employees can also do this through the app after hours helps us on the back end as well.

The cost center drop downs could be a little more easier to assess as well as the notes but overall I do enjoy this program and it does make things easier.

I am required to use it to submit my timesheet. Copying from a previous week and pasting into the current week (timesheet) is very helpful.

Navigating the menus and the user interface is not easy to use. It seems 'old fashioned' and would be better with a Netflix type of look.

I had to use this software for the school I was working at. I liked right out from the start how easy and user friendly the interface was. It was easy for me to navigate around and find what I needed related to work.

I used this software for a 1 year and didn't notice anything frustrating about the software. I liked how easy it was to find what I needed.
