Fathom quickly became our go to solution for sharing meeting recordings. It's simple to use, and the product-centric UI makes it easy to bookmark highlights from the meeting.

Sometimes I have trouble starting the recording after the meeting begins.

It's solving the issue of trying to take active notes while guiding an onboarding for a client. The difficulty has disappeared- and now when I need to focus, I can, knowing I'll still have notes for what we discussed.

The notes could be a little more intuitive, but honestly I have 0 complaints. It's made my life worlds easier, and now my clients can watch our trainings back if they forget something.

The best thing about Fathom for what I do is the freedom it gives me to actively listen to and address client questions and concerns. I don't have to pick up or write down every detail, I can go back and check. I jus thave to keep my focus on the client and how to address their concerns.

Speech to text can be a little off at times.

Fathom records notes and action items for me when I take zoom calls

The only thing I dislike about Fathom is how the pop-up when you launch a meeting happens to be in the upper right where I need to click to let meeting guest into my zoom calls. Because of this I have to move the pop-up.

I love that Fathom takes care of all the documentation for me. It helps reduce my meeting anxiety and fatigue by allowing me to just focus on the client and our discussion knowing that Fathom is gathering all of the information

Sometimes fathom drops out, however the team has always been great about reporting platform outages

AI Summaries! I don't have to take notes during client meetings, and the AI summary provides a concise summary of our meeting.

The popup box is sometimes in the way on my screen.

After reviewing a few of the meeting transcripts and meeting summaries, it's very accurate on it's takeaways. Which has made me feel confident with leveraging it.

I really don't have anything that I dislike.

It starts as soon as the conversation begins and takes no effort to capture the details of the meeting

Not always easy to shut down when not needed

It captures notes/action items/speakers, and instantly sends a summary and recording after the meeting ends. It's super easy to use and very helpful. I use it anytime I know a meeting is likely to cover a lot of information, or if any important stakeholder is not present and will need the notes/recording.

I can't think of a downside - it does everything I expect it to do.

As an architect, details are important in my line of work. Fathom allows me to focus on my clients without being worried about missing any details. Before Fathom I would end online calls only to have a desk covered in barely legible sticky notes. Now everything is neatly organized for me instantaneously. It's amazing!

So far there isn't anything specific I can point to that I don't like about Fathom.

Being able to summarize meetings and the link to a recording after.

explaining how helpful it is to people that notice it in my meetings. adds time to meetings.

After the quick installation, it took me a few minutes to figure everything out and then boom. My meeting notes went from blah to amazing. The transcript is stupid accurate and understands even the thickest of accents.

I have only used it for a few weeks, but have not found any con's yet

The ease of use, the platform is very easy to use. It decreases my administrative time drastically, with Fatho I no longer need to spend hours creating meeting recap and follow ups.

No issues, just a suggestion would be to create a task lisk that can be checked off and stored on the platform for reference in one location.

Fathom is easy to use, accurate, and produces great notes and action items. Using Fathom allows me to focus on my meeting participants instead of taking notes. The action items are a great tool to facilitate follow-up.

I have not needed to use the recorded video yet, it is nice to have though.

Once you get Fathom all set up it's the easiest thing to use, it's automatic and summarizes your meetings in a snap!

Whenever people don't allow it into their meetings so I have to go back to taking notes. Occasionally it has trouble staying in large group meetings which can be annoying.

The clear concise transcripts of all of my call. Fathom understands action items and gives my team a real guideline of what needs to be accomplished after each call.

I would prefer to click "enable" instead of having to disable when I start a call, That would be faster and easier. I dont always want it recording

I love that Fathom is taking notes for me. I've struggled with focusing on meetings and wanting to take accurate notes. Now, I'm guaranteed I can focus on the meeting while Fathom takes care of the notes and action items. Signing up and getting started was super easy. I added the extension 10 minutes before the first call I used it on. I've used it in every important Google Meet I've had, and I have zero regrets.

I've not found anything about Fathom that I dislike yet. It has been an incredible resource for me and the others on our team who utilize it.

I love the accuracy of the transcriptions, and the breakdown of questions and action items. Fathom adds tremendous value to my coaching business.

I haven’t found any cons yet. Overall, it’s super easy to implement and very accurate.

Ai assistant note taking, key points summaries, bullet points of important moments in the discussion linked to the moment in the meeting recording those points were discussed

as of now i haven't experienced any cons per say but if i could suggest something it would be to add a function that i can upload the video directly in my google drive

I like how simple it is. It emails me a transcript that's broken down and easy to paste into my knowledgebase.

The only downside I can see is that it's open/running by default, but I'm sure you can turn that off if you need to.

What I love the most is the ease of use and the creation of an intuitive environment that benefits the user.

I haven't found anything I dislike so far.

The AI summary is a game changer for me. It makes it so easy to recap the next steps to clients and the team. The recording is an awesome bonus, too, especially how you can click an action item, and it takes you to that part of the recording!
