This is a lifesaver!

Pros

These are my favorite features of Google contacts: 1. Automatic Backup and Synchronization: The backup and synchronization feature is indeed a lifesaver. And, I can put my mind at rest, I never have to worry about losing my contacts because I have it backed up in the cloud with just a few clicks. Also, I can access my contacts on any device so far it's connected to the internet. That is an amazing...

The most dynamic Contacts manager ever..

Reviewed 8 months ago

Its been nearly ten years now since I started using Google Contacts and am still using it because they always keep it up to date by constantly rolling out updates and making it even better.

Pros

Google contacts is undoubtedly the most popular and widely used contact manager today. Its simple yet intuitive interface makes it easy to use even for the very novice users. You can save variety of information like phone numbers, emails, physical addresses and even birthdays to a contact. Sharing contacts is very easy and needs only a few taps. It auto fetches contact photo to the thumbnail if they...

Cons

Throughout the time that I have used Google Contacts from the start till now, I don't remember if I have encountered a problem using it, not even the mere hanging or auto shutting.

Reveiw that help while using Google contacts

Reviewed 9 months ago
Pros

The Google contact is one of the best way to arrange all your contacts in organised manner and the contact can also sync with Google account so if we change our device then only with Gmail I'd we can get all our contacts. We can merge duplicate contacts, and the search feature is also very fast and optimised.

Cons

The Google contact have no feature of grouping the contact, and also it does not hide incomplete numbers, sometimes it lags, and the other thing is that it need proper internet connection to save our contact, also if we share contacts books to other then sometimes some contacts are missing, overall the software is good.

Contacts Everywhere

Reviewed 10 months ago

Being able to synch data between mobile devices or multiple computers has been a blessing. Once a contact is synced, you don't have to worry about losing any information. Just make sure you don't delete Contacts recklessly. If you have duplicate contacts, you can merge them as well. The user interface is a tad bland, simple, but once you get used to it, you can create labels to access a group of emails in a quicker way. You can customize a lot of information per contact, which allows you to make sure you're not missing any crucial information.

Pros

Having all your contacts in one place and being able to access that information from anywhere has been really helpful. The amount of details and data you can store per contact is more than enough (multiple phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc.)

Cons

The user interface is very simple, very bland. It could use a touch up.

Longterm Storage of contacts

Reviewed 9 months ago

It has been good and helpful, in ensuring that my contacts are intact. This saves me alot of stress.

Pros

When ever I get a new phone, my phone contacted automatically comes back on my phone, this is a big deal to me because I live in a country were you can have the option of saving contacts on the Phone storage or on the SIM, people hardly use google contact. Since I discovered the usefulness of Google contact, I ensure that all my contact are saved on Google contacts

Versatile, free and very powerful

Reviewed 2 years ago

I love it. I use it all the time and have both my personal and business contacts on it. I have never lost a contact or had a corrupted contact card. It is very stable and super easy to use.

Pros

I love the fact that as long as I know my gmail password I can have access to my contacts on any device. I can set this up on multiple phones / tablets etc. I can access it on firefox, google chrome samsung internet and safari. It is available in google drive and will update all devices attached as long as synced with net. There are a lot of fields of information that you can customize giving you...

Cons

Actually I have not found any issued with the app. I have stopped using all other contact apps and only use this one now, for personal and for business. The only thing I don't like is there appears to be no actual app that can be downloaded onto MAC therefore I always have to have internet to access it on Mac and must do so through firefox, chrome etc.

Easy Use, Cross-Platform Accessibility Makes Google Contacts the Go-To.

Reviewed 2 years ago

Google Contacts keeps me organized and prepared. My work puts me in contact with others on a regular basis, often individuals that I need to reach out to at a later date. The ease of use that Google Contacts provides is a great benefit to me as I can readily save contacts and call, text, or email them at a later date without the hassle of carrying around a stack of business cards. All in all, this is a useful solution!

Pros

Google Contacts is an excellent resource that I would recommend to any colleague or friend. It is easy to begin using and creating contacts within the application itself is as easy as clicking the + sign and inputting contact information. Google Contacts can hold a plethora of information for each contact, including phonetic spelling for hard-to-pronounce names; company, department, and job title; fax, phone, mobile, home email, work email, and other points of contact; Address; Website; birthday; relationship, and more. Contact cards can be accessed on any platform with internet access and can be easily shared with others. This is a well-rounded application.

Cons

Google Contacts has many of the necessary features to be a solid and worthwhile application. The only thing that this application lacks is what some might consider to be a minor detail - specifically, the ability to color-code contacts. When you create a new contact card in Google Contacts, you are randomly assigned a color, and I have yet to discover a way to change this. Otherwise, the application is excellent.

Better than the alternatives, but got some ways to go

Reviewed a year ago

Contacts can be useful for keeping track of my recent interactions with people and quickly pulling up their contact info. However, it is not as feature rich as it has the capability to be.

Pros

- Both the web UI and the android UI is really aesthetic in typical google fashion - I like being able to create multiple contacts as a comma separated list - If you add an email for a contact, you will see your email conversations with them. If the contact is within your google workspace, their name/contact info/manager etc. gets populated automatically which is super useful. - Labels can be useful for quick filtering, e.g. by team - Custom fields, when the default fields fall short, can be super useful. I use these in a personal setting to keep track of when I last talked to a person. - Integrates well with google's own suite of apps

Cons

- Importing contacts is not quite smart, I get lots of duplicates if I export and import the same file after making edits. Uploading when setting up your account is a much better experience though. - Not much in the way of third party integrations within contacts itself, seems like a miss to not have some sort of facebook/instagram/linkedin integration. You are able to provide links to those profiles as a field however. -

Google Contacts is the swiss army knife Contact app

Google Contacts is a good app for managing and syncing contacts across multiple devices. Cons

Google Contacts is very basic for contact editing. The number of fields you can use to edit are limited. The only other gripe would be the lack of an Apple app to replace the equivalent on iOS.

Google Contacts. A must have for detailed and organized contacts.

Reviewed 2 years ago

I have been using Google contacts for years now. Thanks to it that now I don't have to write each contact one by one in my new phone, when the old one gets broken or lost.

Pros

Google contacts is by far the best tool I ever have used or heard of for organizing and saving your contacts. It accepts multiple sort of entries for every contact like multiple phone numbers, email Id, adrress, labels and notes about that person. Along with that it also shows the image of the person in thumbnail and in screen while getting a call making it easy to identify among contacts of same names. And icing on the cake is , you never loose your contacts as long as you remember you gmail id and password, and can get them on any device.

Cons

When ever your enter your Gmail Id in someone's android Playstore app, your contacts automatically downloads without asking for specific permission.

After Installing Google Contacts, I never lost any of my contact.

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall Google Contacts is a must use app if you want to save your contacts for life time with in a secured platform. For me, It's a life saving App you should also try.

Pros

Few years back when there was no App like Google Contacts, I lost my phone multiple times and with that I also lost my all contacts because of saving those contact in phone memory. Google contact just saved our lives in face of saving important information on cloud, it is very easy to use, we save any contact number, email address, or any other contact detail of anyone Google Contact just save and sync in real time and we never lose contact of anyone even after losing the phone.

Cons

Eventually, I didn't find any disadvantage using Google Contacts, I've faced an issue when signing in on any other device that Google Contacts wasn't syncing my previously saved contacts but I faced this issue just once.

The Best Contacts Solution

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall no other contacts service out there offers just at much as Google Contacts does. Google Contacts is accessible across multiple platforms and super easy to replace as the default service on your phone. Best of all you will never loose your contacts because they are backed up on Google's robust cloud server.

Pros

Google Contacts is one of the simplest and easiest to use contacts applications out there. It is also super feature rich. The app makes it very simple to assign a new number a name and contact information. I also like that I can just use the company box without having to put a first or last name. I like having photos attached to my contacts so I love that they make it so easy to do this. Google contacts also offers easy contacts merge incase you accidentally make a duplicate.

Cons

I do wish that it did auto recognize more popular companies like major stores so that they could automatically be added to contacts.

Google contacts is superior

Reviewed a year ago

Without google contacts I would not be able to keep up to date with all my contacts and use them for private and business matters. It's not just an email address but a whole range of useful information that is kept in google contacts. The feature "details" helps me with keeping the details of a person's at a useful level, adding, deleting of information where necessary. Particularly useful is that google contacts synchronize with mobile applications. I use google contacts with my email application (eM Client) with perfect synchronization.

Pros

Google contacts is easy for searching your contacts, managing duplicate contacts, merging duplicates, editing contact names and details, deleting out-of-date or unuseful contacts

Cons

In fact, there's nothing that I do not like, except perhaps the splitting up contacts in "google contacts" and other contacts". The criteria for the split up are not entirely clear.

Great Place to Store your contacts

Reviewed 2 years ago

Google Contacts is where we store all of our clients contact information and it makes it very easily accessible between team members and across all devices. We really appreciate how it auto merges duplicate contacts entries.

Pros

Google Contacts works great for our business to store all of our clients contact information. We use G Suite for email so all contacts are easily accessible. It also merges duplicate contacts for you which is nice to keep organized. You can also group the contacts into categories which is helpful as well.

Cons

The only thing that sort of bothers us with Google Contacts is that you certain fields are not on the main "add contact" page, so you have to click "More Fields" to be able to add things like Address. Very minor issue, so besides that we have no complaints about Google Contacts.

The Only Contact List Management You Need

Reviewed a year ago

Google Contacts is such an easy way to manage and organize your contact list. Even the messiest list can be easily managed, especially since everything can be done from a computer, and works on both android and iOS devices. Duplicates can be easily found and merged, outdated contacts can be easily found and removed, and you can even label your contacts! The best part is, if you're already within the Google ecosystem, you're probably already using Google Contacts even if you might not realize it, so there's no reason to not make use of it in that case. Having a cleaner, organized contact list is quite liberating.

Pros

SUPER easy way to backup and manage your contacts! Finding adding, removing, editing a large contact list becomes easy with Google Contacts.

Cons

Nothing much to dislike. It works really well for what it set out to do and I do not find it lacking in any way in that sense.

Another great Google product

Reviewed 2 years ago

It is my go-to contact manager. I trust it to manage all the contacts I maintain, from the phone ones to the email ones. My phone is set to automatically save all contacts to Google.

Pros

I love the fact that it manages my contacts automatically! All I have to do is go to Google Contacts to find people I emailed years ago. It is a solid contact manager and I don't think my day-to-day life would be the same without it.

Cons

It adds everything to the contacts, even if it's just a once-off email. It would be great if we could choose whether to save a contact at the time of the creation or not. Or if there would be a small popup to the side of the window informing us we just created a contact with the option to press "cancel".

Google Contacts Review

Reviewed 2 years ago

Google Contacts has save me hell since recently I lost concurrently three mobile gadgets of which without the software I would have gone round looking for important contacts.

Pros

I really fancy the User Interface of this Software, how my contacts are displayed on both mobile and desktop devices are more compare to my imaginations. Believe me I think there is no reason that can make me switch from this software to any as long as it's available. The software has all of my contacts of which I can access on the go whether am using my phone or laptop. There is guarantee that my contacts are safe no matter the condition since they're always backed up in cloud of which it's synced regularly from the background. The idea of this software was very thoughtful since I have lots of data stored with Google and to me there isn't any other company am used to. The software has compatible abilities with Google Apps like Gmail which I have no alternatives.

Cons

To me the software is amazing can't think of anything missing maybe only about syncing, any account that you login in to your device should be alerted first since it's synced without permission.

The smartest ever Contacts Manager till date

Reviewed a year ago

I simple love Google Contacts for its ease of use and accessibility but more for its contacts syncing with Gmail, as being a careless smartphone user I often get my phone broken or render it unusable, bit due to it I do not have to worry about losing my contacts.

Pros

Google Contacts is the most useful easy to use contact manager that I have ever used. It has a very minimal, clean and simple user interface. Saving and editing contacts is very easy in it, and its vast integrations allows you to directly save a contact from another app (like whatsapp, SMS manager, email etc) to it. You can save multiple sort of information and contact types like phone number(s), email,...

Cons

Google Contacts in my opinion has only one serious issue, which is that when you login through your Gmail id on another android device, that device with out any delay syncs with your contacts. Google Contacts should make a mechanism due to which before download contacts it should ask for specific permission regarding it.

Manage your ever-growing network like a piece of cake!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Google contacts is a highly versatile software to manage all sizes of contact lists. You can customize your list in too many ways. The search feature is too powerful, and all your contacts' information will be at your fingertips. I have not found a better software for this purpose so far!

Pros

1. It is the most versatile contacts management software available on multiple platforms. 2. You can instantly search from a database of contacts, howsoever large it is. 3. You can add, import, delete, modify any number of contacts with full details. 4. Marking with labels ensures that you see all contacts with one or multiple tags at one place. 5. You can export your list to several compatible software...

Cons

1. You may merge or modify similar contacts by mistake and may find it difficult to go back. 2. There are no advanced search options, and you need to search with multiple strings manually. 3. When your contacts database is too large, the database features available may not efficiently handle it. 4. Editing multiple contacts is much faster in Excel than in this software. 5. A large number of contacts may slow down your smartphone.

My go-to contact organization system

Reviewed 2 years ago

Have used it for years, and have no complaints. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their contact list organized, and handy. You can import from many different formats, or just type them in one-by-one, if that's easier for you. Take the time to do it, it will be worth it, for peace of mind, knowing the data is safe and secure, and easily retrieved.

Pros

Google Contacts has been my contact management system for many years. It replaces any need for your old-fashioned personal address book, or spreadsheet-listing of contacts. It offers a large number of standard contact-related fields. Certainly, there are enough fields for everyone to find what they need, in terms of their contact-management. Obviously name/address/multiple phones/emails. But...

Cons

Really no complaints. I haven't found anything to be lacking. All of contacts-management needs are fully met.

Great Software for Organizing Your Contacts!

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

What I like most about this software is the layout of the screen on which all of one's contacts can be found, which ultimately allows for a simple and efficient search for a piece of contact information when it is needed. This software serves as an excellent tool in terms of being able to save important phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and the like. What I also very much like about...

Cons

There is honestly nothing that I do not like about this software due to the fact that it is about to carry out all of its expected functionalities in a consistent manner without any glitches, at least in my experience using it for quite a while now. All this software is made to do is to store contact information, and it does that task exceptionally well, even more so that other alternatives such as the typical contacts app on a standard smartphone, which in most cases would only store that information locally, instead of being stored on the cloud. All of this reasoning is why I have not much to report on the negative front in regards to this particular software.
