Paperless Parts has brought out quoting into the 21st century. It has improved our quoting speed and quality dramatically. It's an incredibly powerful tool for communicating with our customers, outside vendors, and internally. Our customers love the ability to easily submit quotes and to select their order size and delivery time.
We really have no major complaints about it. This software is still improving everyday, and whenever we have found an issue the Paperless Parts team has been very quick to issue an update with the change. Its great to be able to provide feedback to a software company and see the change rolled out in just a few weeks.

The overall experience and impression is extremely positive. I can't wait to work with the Paperless Parts team to help add new capabilities and features to improve the overall value of the platform.
I love the intelligence the platform offer by analyzing the CAD model, and how easily it integrates with our ERP system to convert the bid into a shop router.
The ability to build, edit, and link assemblies together seems limited. They have added some capabilities, and will most likely improve on this feature in the near future.

Ben and the rest of the team at Paperless are top notch. They have made the integration of the software seamless into our business. Currently we are saving time during the quoting process, doing a much better job on the follow-up process, and our customers love the clean look of the digital quote.
One of the most impactful features of this software is that we can get people with little knowledge involved in the estimating process. The integration into our current business was very smooth, and the software is very user friendly. It is also very nice to be able to view the 3D model and all related documentation from one software rather than having to use multiple.
There are not a lot of things at this point that I dislike. We have talked about the fact that it would be nice if you could assign users tasks based off work completed during the quote process.

From the beginning, they were responsive and had great answers to all my questions. I've had much software, and my hopes have been shattered either from great sales and poor service, or software buggy, but paperless parts have really thought out from the beginning to the end. Plus, every month it seems some new big updates that are game-changing release. These folks are for the blue collars, making our world.
Quickly was able to get going from setup to capturing bids on the first one sent. Trained the first office staff and her quote took ten minutes the first time. Intuitive and simple, yet you can get really deep with the P3L language. Mind-blowing.
The software is very well rounded, I do not have many complaints, and if I did, I would email or call and they are really responsive. Most of the time answers in the same hour.

this is a software that came into our facility with a good foundation. With the effort of both our companies we believe we are only a few tweaks away from having a first class quoting software.
Paperless has been able to replicate a very intense excel spreadsheet quoting process. It has allowed us to except more quotes and speed the process up with ease. Future plans are in place either to bring in a Junior estimator or even thoughts of having our Engineers do some quoting.
the UN ability to Rev quotes, several time customer will ask for updated quotes. the process is to copy the quote. Unfortunately that changes the quote number also

The software is absolutely fantastic to work with. It has changed the entire scope of how our shop functions day 2 day. The true experience is onboarding the software and becoming apart of the paperless family. You are covered and it feels like you have the entire team at your disposal. #verizontakenotes
Paperless is our in house process and management software. Smooth operating and really easy to use once you set up your custom parameters. Paperless has completely organized our job management process coupled with the right analytics to help keep on the right track and in the know.
There have been a couple of useability quirks that aren't worth mentioning due to the fact that the paperless team resolved with swift action.

The fact that our Customers can facilitate their own orders from requesting an RFQ to placing their orders is much Value added time. We are able to turn quotes around in a short period of time. As we continue to use the software, Paperless parts is willing to listen to their customers and make changes on the fly. They are also open to implementing changes to accommodate our needs. The software is very user friendly.
The only con is it will not currently integrate with our manufacturing system. This is not by their doing. The other software manufacturer is not willing to integrate at the moment.

Amazing customer service with great on boarding to be able to achieve maximum usage of the software. Quoting has turned from a long multi software ordeal to only using 1-2 software's and quotes sent within 10 minutes (if time permits). Still working it into our overall process' so still very excited to see continuous growth and ease, allowing for us to focus on our business rather quoting customers.
Seamless integration within our current process and streamlined our quoting process.
Software is meant for quoting and is fantastic for quoting purposes however, with still being in the early stages of development within the other aspects of the tool the other features are not available yet.

We've had a great experience working with the team at Paperless. The team has been very hands-on in guiding us through the process of understanding the platform and how to best leverage the tools to improve our operations. Paperless Parts addresses the need for simple quoting solutions to more complex multi-operation workflows.
-dynamic platform that can grow with the organization -highly configurable using simplified coding language and UI -best customer support [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] -ease of use -the platform is accessible from any device with access to the internet -the developers are constantly expanding the platform features and and providing new tools to users based on customer feedback -quick quoting cycle-time -DFM feedback -great user interface and customer quote presentation -internal and external user communication tools/ annotations of models and pdf drawings -the quoting process can be as automated or manual as would like
-My one small gripe, white-label services could be improved for external branding. The customer quote branding is excellent. I'm not sure it is the intent of the developer to offer this service; however, the white-labeling that is present could improve. The use of larger customer logo displayed in the user interface and external communication tools is preferred. -while the web application works well, an app optimized for a mobile workforce would be great -The platform provides a competitive advantage for users; you'll want to keep it a secret.

Paperless Parts is allowing us to digitize a process that has long been held in the heads of a few in our office. We are using it to democratize our pricing and get it in front of our customers faster than ever before so they can make decisions to manage their businesses.
The cloud-based ability to process a solid model allowed us to greatly decrease our time spent estimating. It also allowed us to improve the effectiveness of our quoting process.
The search function doesn't allow us to search for a part number correctly.

Their software platform has allowed us to gain the business of companies that we likely would not have been able to gain otherwise. It instantly gave our company a professional look and allowed us to confidently quote jobs faster than normal. Our experience could not be better.
From day one, the software is incredibly easy to learn and use. We are able to manage hundreds of quotes in a quick and professional manner with minimal effort. This allows us to focus more on the production end of our business rather than allocating resources just to get a quote to a customer. The most impressive part though is the customer service we receive. It is not common to find a company that is as willing to pick up the phone and have a conversation about our experience. On multiple occasions, their team has heard our suggestions out and within a few days implemented those improvements.
The software does lack some functionality compared to others on the market but they are continually adding new features, analytics, and integrations.

Faster quotes means more business, period.
Fast and simple and gets more accurate the more used. Team is also very open to making changes/upgrades.
Simply takes some time for the software to pindown accuracy as it related to our specific shop.

I really needed a way for customers to easily submit RFQ's and place orders. We needed something other than net 30 for payment terms. They provide a great credit card interface as well. Had some issues at the beginning because I couldn't get the quoting to work as I wanted. However, they were very helpful and they have been continuously making improvements that has made it really easy to use. They have pricing formulas and a sophisticated back end that can read 3D models and determine complexity to a good extent. They are improving the ability to "see" areas that will be hard to machine and present that to you. I really like this software, it allows everyone in the shop to see what is coming in and helps with scheduling as well.
Makes it easier to increase profit margins through accurate material and time estimation. It also has automatic mark up and faster lead time calculations to help capture more revenue. Presentation to the client or customer is very professional. It has the ability to read and interpret 3D models and point out areas of more difficulty. Makes quoting go much faster. Streamlines the capture and tracking of customer data. No more misplaced drawings or using the wrong revision. Makes it easy for customers to place RFQ's and orders. Can be integrated into shop's work flow. Frees up people to do more important work. Tech support is responsive. Integrates with Quick Books
Setup takes time, but they do take time with you to do it. You will need to spend time tweaking the results to match your business model. However, once it is done, it just works.

The team at Paperless Parts have become an integral part of our company and a true extension of our team. They all are eager to help and guide you, on best practices for quoting, and customizing things to your specific needs. The Paperless Parts team is highly energetic, very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and truly care.
The software works! It is extremely simple to use but very powerful. Our customers are constantly impressed with how fast we can quote, how easy it is for them to use, the depth of valuable detail provided, and the overall professional look. I've been in contract manufacturing for over 35 years and I've seen many opportunities go to the wayside because it took too many man hours to quote and too long to get the quote to the customer. As a small startup company it is critical that we can constantly add new equipment and services to our portfolio. Paperless Parts makes it simple for us to add those new options to our quotes and quickly start offering them to our customers.
I can't really say there is any issues that come to mind. I could constantly ask them for added features so the software handles more of our process needs but I know it wasn't designed to be an MRP/ERP system. It does what it was designed to do, automate the quoting process.

Before we engaged Paperless Parts, we were using a few quoting methods including an excel spreadsheet. We were referred to them by another service bureau, and after implementing Paperless Parts quoting platform it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. Tronix3D is serving both private and public sectors, and shopping for quoting software was dependent upon several key aspects, including...
Paperless Parts quoting platform comes with a dedicated team to implement the product, and they are always reachable through the web chat for questions post implementation. They have always been there to support us. Their platform is also ITAR registered and they are NIST compliant. We were looking for a platform which has the same cyber security posture as Tronix3D, and it gives us the ability to meet or exceed the military cyber security requirements for our business.
The max file upload size is ~50mb. We have had a few STL files which have not been up loadable because they exceeded the max file size.

The software is easy to use and allowed us to reduced our "time to quote" significantly. With this tool we can get quotes in front of customers faster increasing the chance that we will win the business. The expediting feature is also a major benefit as this allows us to easily communicate expediting options to our customers and capitalize on our ability to turn parts around quickly
We do not currently have this software integrated with our ERP system so there are some redundant data entries. I believe that there are some ERP systems that will integrate but unfortunately ours is not one of them.

If I have any issues or have questions they are just a quick phone call or email away. The best experience is that when I have an improvement suggestion, they listen and many time they make the update to their system.
This software give us a very professional qutoing system that is outward facing. It is very polished and easy to use. We have gotten very positive feedback, without asking for it, from our customers about our quoting system.
That it does not link the transactions with our Quickbooks software. That is something that is in the works to be rolled out.

It's nice having the reports generated each month. They provide very useful insights for our company. We have been able to realize that our customer base is in decent shape, and where we could use improvement (i.e. more bandwidth of customers). PP has been great to work with. I feel like our company truly matters to all of the people I've worked with at the company. The staff at PP truly value my opinion and get to the bottom of any issues I've had.
The design is flawless. It's very sleek-looking and fairly simple to use on the customer's end of things.
A LOT of clicking of the mouse. It takes an average of about 10 clicks of the mouse to get a single part generated in a quote. That can be time consuming and exhausting at times.

The Paperless Parts team is made of up dynamic individuals who "get it". They know the pressures manufacturers are under and have crafted a tool and experience that is tailored for shops like us. The Paperless Parts tool was rapidly adapted by the team, which is not always to case with new software packages, and improved the shop's workflow. Ultimately all the features have added to our company's value-proposition and increased revenue.
