Pros

With the integration with Quickbooks and excellent configuration and training staff, QCommission is the perfect solution for our company.
Finding the perfect fit with time-sensitive efficiency. From the customer service perspective, QCommission provides assistance throughout knowledgeable, responsible, and caring people.

Pros

We have experiences a great customer service from easy-commission team. They adjusted the easy-commission to our needs and gave an excellent support during the set up and the test phase.
We have been searching for a way to calculate commissions without investing a large amount of money. Easy Commissions seems to have been the perfect solution for us.
We are happy with the product and we will continue to use it.

Cons

We have some complicated commissions and this software takes all the worry out of that.
Initially, I found the software to be tricky to use. The data integration error codes often do not explain in basic language how to rectify the problems.
The software is a little intimidating to use at first.

Cons

Not enough training and tutorial videos. Bad customer service (Ex: Online Chat for Easy-Commissions).
We are in Beirut, Lebanon where we suffer from low internet connection and electrical out-ages.
Reduced significantly the amount of time taken to reconcile our company commissions and pay our reps and introducers accurately.

Easy to run Commission reports and less of manual effort

Pros

It is user friendly and if in case of any issue, the support team was good. The turnaround time in delivering the reports was quick. Q Comm has a good support team.

Cons

Integrating our accounting software with the program takes a long time if the file is huge. Other than that I don't think of any cons in the software as such.

Has streamlined our archaic commission tracking and reporting system!

After 20+ years of strictly reporting through Excel and Access our company needed a change as we were growing quickly and taking on a 30% sales increase. The Support and Implementation departments are incredible to work with an very prompt in their communication. Prabhu and Yuvaraj always answer within 30min of an e-mail and provide a very detailed answer that is incredibly easy to understand and put into action. We are very pleased with the services we have received and would highly recommend the program to any business dealing with sales and commissions!

Pros

Easy to create practical reports for all Sales reporting. Easy integration process that only takes minutes to create monthly commission payables. Excellent customer service and communication. Commission reports integrate into payroll system with easy.

Calculating employees commission flawlessly.

Pros

I do like that QCommission is integrated with most CRMs. We use Salesforce an it was easy to sync the two. I also like being able to see how much money has been paid out while also seeing amoutn of money coming in.

Cons

Someone could do most of this work in excel if trained properly. It is very nice to have everything all in one software but I debate if I even need it.

We needed a software that could calculate commission percentages after the customer invoices were paid and that could manage split commission percentages (more than one sales person receiving commission on a customer invoice).

Pros

Very good customer service, user friendly functions and screens, and generally easy to learn and use

Cons

Sometimes system upgrades negatively affect data imports but the most recent upgrades haven't been a problem so maybe it's been resolved.

Phenomenal application & superior customer service

The QCommission application is highly adaptable to the needs of clients irrespective of the number of tiers and complex plans. Our accounting firm was able to assist our client via the highly skilled project managers at QComission, and were able to implement a full commission system in a short while. We no longer have to maintain dozens of excel spreadsheets, nor do we have to perform tedious calculations that often times exposed us to input errors. The Qcommission application has saved us dozens of hours of manual work, and our client is pleased with the results!!

We are a small insurance office and Q. Commission has been the solution to our monthly commission distribution process. It has saved us valuable staff time with accurate results. The best part of Q Commission is the trained team who has been available to us for education and assistance with questions/issues as they surface. Ease of mind that the commission reports are accurate.

Pros

Makes my job easier when keeping up with the sales commissions. I haven't been able to get through all the features as of yet.

Cons

I would have liked to be able to run a separate report showing the different rates of commission, but this was not imperative.

Web-based consideration

Having worked with web-based commission systems, the current version of QCommission we are using is not an efficient process for our current operation. The need to create an upload form in Excel rather than uploading an unaltered carrier commission statement to process commission is time consuming and increases the risk of errors. Including paying the wrong agent, the policy doesn't exist in the Master File, etc. A small operation with experienced commission processors should not take a staff of three to complete paying commission every two weeks. Perhaps a web-based system would allow for direct upload of carrier commission statement eliminating the need to create an upload of information from many sources.

I am able to add new members easily and create different commission structures. The platform is very user friendly and I am able to adjust amounts and do split commission easily.

I recently purchased Qcommission automated Commission software. It's been of great help for me, I was spending two days calculating all the commission for our Agents it was very consuming. Since then, I simply enter my eft’s on Friday’s and the commission software will capture the commissionable income from Quickbook import it into the commission software - It can be customized to suit your needs....

QCommission is absolutely the best commission calculating software add-on available for QuickBooks. It is extraordinarily flexible and can implement just about any commission system you can imagine. I have used it for several years and they have implemented a number of different commission systems for me. The staff is very helpful when requesting assistance or professional services and their fees for such services are very reasonable.

Cons

Well, the flexibility can lead to complexity and I don't think we would well be able to implement our commission systems without relying on Cellarstone's staff to do it for us.

There are quite a few features that need help from QCommission directly versus self-administering. They are very responsive though with any requests and so far have been able to execute any requests.

Overall the experience up until we went Live was very stressful. We had very specific requirements.

Pros

What I like most about this software is the Commission Statements. They are very professional and detailed.

Cons

There are some administrative functionality that was difficult to figure out on your own due to it being a multiple step process. For example, making a tier change and adding a new sales person. But with that said, QC Support (Yuvaraj) was excellent at guiding us through our issues. We were able to create "How To" procedures after getting the information from QC Support.

Sales Commissions structures can be easy to design but difficult to implement. The Easy Commission system truly did make it easy. With a Basic Excel formula I was able to apply a new commission schedule in minutes, that would previously have taken my Accountant over 4 hours per pay period.

Pros

Direct import from my Quickbooks files. Software is online and available from anywhere. It's the best of both worlds is that I can still work on the system while the import is processing.

Cons

The full supported version Qcommission has more features. So far the Easy Commission version is more than sufficient. No Cons so far!
