We used to have problems to know the profit of the company. Now we just open Qlik Sense and we know it, the overall profit of the company, also per costumer, brand or even product
You need some training to work in a efficient way with Qlik Sense, but once you know the tool, you can design complete reports wich allow obtain critical information about your bussiness fast.
Maybe is more expensive than Microsoft Power BI

Visual appearance (e.g. compared to Power BI - it's much more appealing)
Your possibilities and "custom" settings of visuals are limited and much worse (e.g. comparing to Power BI). You can do only a few pre-defined appearance/behavior changes to your visuals (unless you want to JavaScript your own extensions..)

It's has been good but i am worried that competitors like Power BI that are pushing very strong in the market. I be seen many clients switching to Power BI.
-It's Simple for new users and allows self discovery. -It very fast and code is easy to learn. -There is a lot of material to learn and a good community. -Allows you to build your own datawarehouse using Qvds.
-You need to pay extra for features like Automated Report Generation (NPrinting) and also if you use SAP you need to pay for a special connector. -You rely on external extension to build nice dashboards but they are improving in this area every month. -It's expensive compared with others solutions.

A very useful software with fast usage and simple interface. It provides fast access by taking large data into memory.
The analysis side is missing. Compared to MS Power BI, it remains incomplete.

one of the very powerful BI solution to have any any kind of the organization.
Easy to use and quick intuitive dashboard builder. Seamless data connectors to any of the source system. Powerful ETL capabilities which will helps to shape the data for presentation.
Collaboration and annotation is not that great. No in built data governance options. Master data management is not available.

+ Easy to use, + Qlik's associative data model, + Qlik Sense's user self service functionality/ self service BI
- Basic Qlik Sense is limited to a certain degree (e.g. in terms of visualization) --> there is a wide variation of extensions for nearly everything. Of course Qlik couldn't guarantee the functionality after an update. However there is already the option to pay for this service - Some basic "office" functionalities sometimes missing or too complicated integrated in Qlik (e.g. RGB code/color settings. Why not via click box in the chart?)

Qlik Sense is a self service BI Tool, user friendly, has data management capabilities, minor coding. It is technically powerful.
Qlik Sense still lacks some ready made predictive scenarios and simulations that do not require writing R or Python code.

I really like Qlik Sense, but as a BI tool for analysis, not for reporting/presenting for business users.
I really liked the automatic capabilities that this tool have: -IQ Insights: it generates automatic relevant insights in the data that you upload to the model. -Recommended associations: it generates automatic associations in the data tables that you upload, so you can create data models in a fast way.
I didn't like that it's not so easy to use like other BI tools. Furthermore, it's somehow hard to give the desirable aesthetics/format to your visuals.

I just love Qliksense. It is my one stop solution for all BI needs. It is very intuitive and user friendly
The software is not open source making it difficult for students like myself to work on it without paying anything upfront.

Really great BI that helps bring relevant data together to sort and manage in a much simpler and easy to use format
If not configured correctly it can provide false data which is hard to spot. Not necessarily a fault with Qlik itself but requires a lot of understanding from an admin and user ensure useful data is presented correctly.

Ease of us- I like the ease of use the product provides - business users find it very helpful and not much training is required.
Lack of integrated maps - power BI provides native functionality and Qlik should enhance it with maps that’s fully integrated

Easy implementation of data clouds and BI analysis, increase the speed of data processing thanks to the extraction logic in the QVD
it is continuously updated with interesting new features, it's user friendly, it is a program that takes into consideration the design and the new trends, it is nice to see and the animations on the graphics make it even more innovative
tokens are too expensive for a medium-sized company, the QMC is still a bit complicated to use. Updating qlik sense server is a bit tricky, (especially moving from Synchronized Persistence to Shared Persistence)

If you are looking to push self service report creation capabilities down to the front lines, Sense is worth a look. Not everything that is possible in Qlikview can be done in Qlik Sense. This is a different tool, not a replacement with few limitations.
The product it's really easy to use and powerful. One of the best tools available today for self-service BI. Ease of use Self Service Capabilities
Integration with other tools Governance & Security Frequent releases and needs some stability of the functionality

User friendly. Can understand the relationship well only if one is proficient in sql
Powerful BI tool for building dashboards Ease of use. Develop apps just by few clicks. Automatic detect relationship among tables. The qlik engine is powerful and fast. Great Visualizations.
Qlik’s outdated interface is mostly tab based and property based, and lacks intuitive drag and drop features. In our opinion, Qlik’s interface is also cluttered with visualization tools the average user won’t leverage, and tools that don’t add value to data interpretation

A great tool that helps us make sense of our data day to day.
It is a great data tool with a modern UX and strong functionality - both for the user and the data back end. Lots of flexibility to build and connect data, and powerful tools for visualization & BI.
No major concerns. There is very deep functionality, so any issues are likely our own.

Its association engine is killer and at the heart of BI. Depth of customization available and ease of use. Also connect to a lot of data sources and create a single view of all your data.
Product has everything that a business intelligence tool should offer. There is not much negative to it

The benefits I have had with its use is the ease it has, in addition to being able to drag things without so much limit.
The drag-and-drop feature is not as limited as many free softwares that are used to create dashboards and reports. On the other hand, the Storytelling function helps to access the original analysis
It does not have a function to establish specific schedules to receive BI reports through an email. Another point against is that the business version is expensive so it is not accessible to many.

QlikView was the best in market and with Qlik Sense, Qlik continue to be the best in market from data import, transformation, visualisation and now into alerting and machine learning
The amount of features that come out of the box within the cloud offering which is far over and above the nearest competitors which rely on third party tools and services
The price is higher than competitors like Power BI but the total cost of ownership is lower in the medium term as you do not require additional data transformation tools or extensive development time

A great mix of UI and Data management makes this software one of the top in the market, especially because of the BI power that allows manipulating a huge amount of data without suffering slowness or reduction in visual quality
I would suggest choosing this software just for advanced users who are already confident with deep analysis and visualization

We still use QlikView for most of our BI projects because the centralized model has merit. I would like to see a more integrated hybrid capability to support both QlikView and Qlik Sense in a dual implementation while addresses the weaker aspects of each.
Qlik Sense allows me to provide users with a library of BI objects (key indicators, trending charts, and other objects) based on a common data set. Users can choose to view simple dashboards or create complex analyses to support their own projects.
Some of the implementation and maintenance is still cumbersome, and I would prefer a greater capacity to centralize some areas of the published Qlik library in my organization.

keep up the great work -- after a two months, in-depth technical review of about a dozen BI tools out there, including PowerBI, Spotfire, DOMO, MicroStrategy, Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, + Open Source solutions -- for the aforementioned points, our company settled on DundasBI, as the "best of breed", most flexible, scalable, modern, fast, "future-proof" & cost-effective solution.
In no particular order: 1. Licensing options: a. concurrent, b. unlimited, c. perpetual (some vendors may offer just one or two) 2. Open Standards & API hooks for JavaScript, .Net, REST 3. "No pressure" Sales engagement. 4. Company is willing to go the extra mile to assist with POCs, onboarding, technology adoption., 5. Clear documentation, FAQ's, Scripting Samples. 6. Forums to interact with community. 7. Modern, fast GUI, with rich set of components. 8. Frequent product updates. 9. Fast, responsive and knowledgeable support personnel. 10. Scalable architecture.
takes a bit getting used to, to ramp up on complex engineering/solutioning of needs (including scripting), for notice JavaScript/REST developers, however the company is willing and able to assist with these endeavors.
