The initial loading of the data can take a while sometime depending on how there is on the backend. or the system that its pulling the data from.

The backend script could be changed by making into another language . There could be options for us to choose any language we prefer for scripting.

There really isn't a lot that I didn't like about the software. From a user experience, it is the best I've analysis tool I've used.

So far there has not been anything that we've had problems with. The support for the product is fantastic and any technical issues have been resolved with a quick phone call.

In our implementation, it's hard to say what all the 3rd party extensions are and can do -- takes some exploration and trial and error before being able to find useful extensions.

I like the flexible licenses as well as the possibilities for a power user. The setup is fairly easy to setup as well.

Many third-parties, some with expensive pricing. The QMC interface could use some work. The pop-up menus are too small. Set analysis are hard for non-it users to use in a self service environment.

QlikSense is one of those applications that you always hear about when looking for great tools for interactive report generation. It is just 'good' overall, not the best, from my own personal experience at least. Comparing it to Tableau, it stands no chance.

Very weak customer service, don't expect to get much help when you are stuck, unless you are part of an online community that might help you. Overall it's just OK, but I personally would consider other applications.

Qlik has never been a company to sit on it's hands as competitors eat up it's margins. As such, Sense is an obvious response to the simplicity and aesthetic beauty that Tableau brings to the table. Drag and drop analytics make Sense an amazing tool for power users still trying to bend Excel to their needs while providing many unique and compelling ways to share the knowledge gained. In addition to simplicity, Sense is at home in a mobile environment. Build a single application and deploy to any device with a browser, be it your laptop or iPad.

The biggest shorfall of Qlik Sense is it's age. Though well thought out, the product is still underdeveloped and can at times feel like a beta product in the hands of a more seasoned BI specialist. Simplicity often comes at the expense of customization.
