ConnectWise Sell Features In Depth

Sending Quotes

Using Quosal’s patented Order Porter™, sales teams are able to quickly and accurately generate quotes and proposals to send to clients. Rather than emailing their clients template PDF documents, salespeople who use Quosal can send interactive online experiences. Customers who receive quotes can view personalized video content, and approve their orders right away.

Each time you create a new quote in Quosal, the web-based system generates a unique URL that you can send to your client. When the client clicks on the URL, he or she will immediately see an interactive quote with a personalized video. To accept this proposal, the client just needs to e-sign the document from within Quosal.

Workflow Automation

Rather than focusing too heavily on opportunity management, Quosal’s workflow automation module identifies “key events” and the optimal time frames for content delivery. Essentially, the platform builds a project roadmap using integrated data. This roadmap is called a SuccessList™.

Quosal automates as much as possible to relieve pressure on your sales team members. The platform even automates back-end record keeping. Each sale that your team wins or loses is added to the system and leveraged by SuccessList™. Your SuccessList™ status is communicated through the sales management dashboard.

Real-Time Distributor Pricing

When product pricing is changing by the minute, sales teams often have difficulty transmitting accurate quotes and proposals to their clients. Quosal offers a solution, with real-time distributor pricing using data feeds, along with downloadable price files and spreadsheets.

Upload your company pricing information, and Quosal will integrate the data sources into your sales process. (Its Product Buffet system allows you to integrate using standard data formats.) Rather than hunting for the most recent pricing on your website before generating each quote, you can rely on the app to automate the process and keep pricing data fresh. It is capable of mapping any number of price files, lists, and schedules.

E-Signatures

One of the ways that Quosal has been able to improve the customer purchasing experience—and also show a positive impact on users’ sales—is by offering built-in e-signature capabilities. Clients who receive interactive quotes and proposals are able to execute those documents using binding digital signatures. Collecting those signatures requires zero effort on the salesperson’s part.

Using the Quosal mobile platform interface, your sales team is able to collect not just e-signatures, but also payments from clients when they’re outside the office. When you fill out the configuration information, just set up the “Use E-Signature” setting to enable digital signatures.

The design is intuitive and easy to learn, yet complex enough to do very customizable things.

I could never get a Dell quote to import. It might be a training issue, but it would save a lot more time if this feature worked better.

Pros

With the clients not having to print any documents, the sales cycle is also closed a lot quicker.

Cons

End user input is critical for accurate reporting. Not good as a stand alone option, so quite pricey when taking the complete ConnectWise package.

Pros

The Etilize feature that shows me pricing from multiple vendors and pulls photos and descriptions of products, the order porter online approval and notifications when clients look at a quote

Cons

a bit expensive compared to Quoteworks. Wish I could still have an on-prem version because hosted stuff always costs more.

Clunky at best - hidden hard to get out of contract

When it matters most ConnectWise will put their profits above the customer. We used ConnectWise Sell for over 2 years, and after deciding to switch to another product, we found they had an auto renew clause hidden in a link on the agreement without our knowledge. When asking finance to help, they basically said kick rocks, so we are now stuck with this until contract expires.

Feature rich, does a lot of things good, but does nothing great.

The Dell import tool is probably my favorite (when it works - it's spotty).

Pros

Definitely an improvement from our last quoting tool.

Cons

It's not very user friendly, not very intuitive, it's hard to import pricing catalogs (mostly because it's hard to get that information from vendors who don't have the integration), the user restrictions aren't what I think they should be, there are a lot of things we should be able to customize on our own that we can't (so we incur extra costs), etc.

It has all the same realtime features as the other major player in the market (Quotewerks) and with tight integration into the Connectwise ecosystem it's a no-brainer for existing Connectwise customers.

Opportunities in Manage can be converted directly to quotes, retaining all the most relevant customer data and information!

Speed of quotes on a very complex product of WIFI networks for hotels based on construction types and brand standards for acceptable WIFI.

Pros

I like how customers can sign and pay online. However, the signing process is confusing for customers on the steps of what to fill next so the transaction is successful. I sometimes have to guide the customer, because there are no clear Step 1, Step 2, etc., guides.

Cons

I want a real library of click-easy template messaging I can select after I publish the quote.
