Pros

It has also increased accuracy and transparancy of the commissions and sales. It has a great analysis tool and reporting The customer service is awesome as well.
My experience has improved greatly now that I have a better understanding in terms of the functions that are used by my company.
It is mostly intuitive and it is a great resource for the sales team. They like having a real time view of their commissions.

Pros

Love It, Love It, Love it. It provided all of the features and functionality that one would need in a CRM.
In general I liked the intuitive software, it is a very useful tool for small and medium size companies, excellent tools and very good integration for MAC and APPLE users.
The customer service over the years has been improving with its response-times and helpfulness. It was great when I first started using Daylite and has exponentially improved since then.

Cons

It is confusing, Many different categories that can be difficult to see specifically what has been earned.
Insufficient dispute platform, currently not more than a mailbox.
Data never up-to-date for current month (i know this is on the data entry side more than the xactly product). Poor UI for estimating future commissions.

Cons

Problems in integration with Zapier, poor integrations, unable to sync with google calendar, old fashion face, limited functionality of the mobile version.
My only real frustration is the inability to create customised views and reports across objects - without developers assistance.
Also being restricted just to Apple products made it very difficult to use it company-wide.

The software is easy to navigate, and pick up quickly. Having used other Commission systems in the past- it is intuitive.

Cons

Lack of functionality for searching. Being limited to using the GUI to search for information is frustrating.

Easy to use and great customer support!

I've used Xactly Express along with Xactly Incent for a few companies now. I knew that when I started at Host Analytics a couple years ago, there was no way I was going to manage compensation manually in excel. Within weeks, I was able to work with the Express services team to get all of our plans up and running. Since then, I've been able to manage any of the new plans or comp changes made. If I run into any issues or obstacles, their Customer Support team has always been there to quickly respond and help me out. I'm a huge fan of Xactly and the Express product!

Cons

-Would like the opportunity estimator for numerous opptys at a time

Pros

I did not really use the software hands-on, but we have a partnership with Xactly and we had a team come in and anaylze what we wanted done. Basically building a drop down menu...etc. The Xactly team were very understanding and responsive. Also, created a whole demo in a little amount of time.

Cons

I don't have any cons to be honest, but maybe if the Xactly team stayed longer, we would have really gotten deep into what we were really looking for (ex: formatting for tables...etc)

Pros

visibility to our sales reps on what commissions are still held and details on what their commission payments are each pay period

Cons

user interface is not consistent or particularly user-friendly, hard to look at information for multiple periods at once (have to export period by period), need to upload several files each pay period, cannot post payments twice to the same period without duplicating payment (so if there is an error, everything needs to be reset and recalculated before re-posting payment)

Generally good experience. SW is stable and working well. Only 2 issues are hourly rate for new SOW is very expensive and time to start a new SOW is very long. After scope is defined and purchase order is sent, it takes another 2 weeks before Xactly can start working on SOW.

Time to deploy new SOW and also the price for new SOW is very costly.

No more spreadsheets!

I like the fact that we don't have to use spreadsheets anymore. The manual, human error risk is removed, and we've seen a dramatic decline in payment issues. The users love their ability to see their earned commissions at any time versus waiting until the commission sheets are sent out.

Cons

It's somewhat difficult for the administrator to create new comp plans without a sandbox environment.

It provides us a better controlled environment to calculate the commissions and generate reports. It saves us time, and everything is in one place.

Pros

It replaced the manual calculation process which make it more accurate and productive, and auditable.

Cons

The software is not easy to navigate. It's not intuitive for the user. There are so many steps to get to what need to be done. Also, we don't have good documentation to help us for our functions and purposes.

Xactly is the best Compensation Management solution on the market! It gives our Business the much needed flexibility to change compensation plans on the fly for our sales reps without compromising accuracy or transperancy. In addition, the Analytics module gives us the ability to provide quick and easy reporting for Payrol and Executive Staff.

Calculation rule logic is easy to set up and maintain. Perfect for a fast, agile environment. Analytics allows for quick meaningful reports

The functionality and the accuracy of how it calculates complicated commission plans for Looker. Its very easy for our Sales Org to go in and see their attainment, commissions earned, quotas, and accessing their compensation plans

As an administrator, there are some functionality issues I face, which make extracting the data for analysis sometimes difficult.

For the user the tool looks good and is offers great transparency. Cannot imagine going back to spread sheets. Love the up to date information for the users.

Cons

Very difficult to use. Not intuitive. Very buggy. LOTS of implementation problems. Cannot easily build reports or pull out data. Very hard to get help. All responses are: you need to pay for training or premium support. Very frustrating.
