Google Authenticator is a mobile app that generates codes for two-factor authentication. With this service, you can sign in to an account by entering a code generated by the Google Authenticator application on your smartphone rather than a password. The experience from set up to day-to-day use is easy. We don't need additional training as the methods itself are intuitive. Daily, this helps with efficiency as we are able to access it in any device we own.
Authy links with Twilio and Recurly really well which our team both use on a daily basis. What we like most about Authy is being able to tie this to a specific user account. This means portability and security. We are able to install it on different platforms (especially desktop.) This eliminates the process of checking your phone. You can simply copy and paste the code in the same device.
I couldn't think of any. This was recommended by our engineers as a replacement to Google Authenticator.

I originally downloaded Authy to use for 2FA tokens for various programs through work, but also began using it for personal use. It is a very good experience and have had no problems with Authy.

It is a great two-factor authenticator, I never had any problems and I use it daily.
The application is very efficient and easy to use, it generates a code every 30 seconds to log into your accounts, it is the best in the category of 2-factor authentication.
There could be a small adjustment in the size of the grid in relation to the top, the grid is very small and the other is very large, and if you are using it on a tablet for example, then this difference is huge.

Happy with it in General, good alternative to authenticatiors which are only available on your mobile, if you loose your cell phone, you are in huge trouble getting back access to your accounts, it is not the case here at least,
What I really like about it is, you can access your MFA from different devices, so for example in case you loose your cell phone, you won't loose your access to your accounts, online Google Authenticator for example
a bit confusing terms for different passwords

I use 2FA wherever possible so this program makes things much easier. I like I can easily identify the service by the logo.
I got this app after I got a new phone. Previously, I had Google Authenticator, but they wanted me to re-enter everything. However, the incident made me look for alternatives, and I found this one. Even though Google has remedied this earlier problem, I'm happy with Authy and see no reason to switch.
I wish I could better organize the apps. Maybe drag and drop based on usage. There is a good search function though. And ideally, I'd like to see a password feature added.

Robust software, been using it for years across multiple phones and computers. I recommend it to anyone thinking of using a software-based 2FA solution.
Authy is my preferred software authenticator app because of its synchronisation capabilities. Desktop or mobile, 2FA codes are available everywhere you need them, with encryption and password security.
The UX needs a bit of work. Just small things like accounts not being in alphabetical order when you try to manage them.

Authy is a multi-device 2FA app that can be used with any account you might want to secure, as long as that account supports 2FA via apps. It offers back-up functionality via its cloud and describes a very secure process to handle it, where only a back-up password will be able to unencrypt it. It provides a friendly user interface where you can see the icons for each of the accounts you registered.
I miss the functionality from Microsoft Authenticator where I can receive a notification and just approve the access, but it's not a big deal as it only works with Microsoft accounts.

Twilio Authy is the free best authenticator app that has many options, making it easier to authenticate your accounts.Adding new accounts to your Authy account is extremely easy, you just need to enter your private key or scan the QR Code. After that, it will automatically generate one-time passcodes that will be expired within the next 30 seconds.
Recovering your account takes 24 hours in case you've lost your phone.

Love Brave. It's my default browser. Would highly recommend.
- Does not use up a lot of RAM - Does not cause my laptop's fan to ramp up excessively - No Google integration - Love the award of BAT crypto for browsing - Based on Chromium, can install Google extensions without all the additional Google integrations as previously mentioned.
Would love to see the user give more control over the arranging of icons on the UI. Some form of decentralized back up for bookmarks and settings.

Overall, it is good for simple authentication uses.
The best thing is that it is free. It is very easy to use. I also have not experienced any breaches, its authentication codes is not easy to replicate.
Refresh time for the code is too quick, if the device or internet lags, the code becomes invalid. No other unique feature.

Overall it is the best application for Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).
One of great feature for Google Authenticator is that its availability, easily available on PlayStore and AppStore. With Google Authenticator we are more secure today, even if someone steals your password, this is one way that you are sure that you are safe.
May be they can make UI more easier, just by having notification on Mobile App, you should be able to authenticate with one click.

My overall experience with Google Authenticator is good. It helps organisation to add a security layer to authenticate user before he/she can access the company data.
The most feature about this software which i like is MFA or Two-Factor Authentication. It helps organisation to authenticate user and make their data more secure even if users credentials get compromised. To access data, attacker needs to get the user personal device where he installed his application to get the token to login into the system.
As of now, I don't have anything which I don't like about this software.

My overall experience with Google Authenticator is too good. It helps us to apply MFA to access our repository and also helps to log in to our organization's laptop. It makes our laptop more secure even if got stolen.
Multi-factor authentication is the best part of this software I loved. It helps us to secure our data or resources even if our credentials got compromised. The token we are using as MFA is kept refreshing and valid for 30 sec and reduce the hacking attack.
As of now, I don't have anything which I don't like about this software.

I love and trust Google Authenticator. It’s the only app I have and will ever use for my two-factor authentication. It gives me the extra layer of security for my crypto wallet and my social media accounts. There is a lot of hacking going around lately and with Google Authenticator and a strong password – I know I have double the security.
The best thing about Google Authenticator is that it’s easy to set up and use. Even when I suggest it to my not-so-tech-savvy clients, they are able to set it up and use it. It integrates seamlessly into my business, and I have it connected to every application that I use online that will allow me to. I know that my social media profiles have an extra layer of security which is great, especially with all the hacking going around lately.
There is nothing that I dislike about it.

Google Authenticator is one of the several authentication apps which has been emerging and gaining popularity being already a favorite for many, and I include myself in that list since it is too easy to secure your accounts against possible hacking attacks and of course, we want to avoid it at all costs, and more living in a completely digital environment and we have too sensitive information. Doing this simple action makes our accounts virtually impossible to hack as it has the notifications of the attempted access to the account, with this we can deny it so that we can access the account, and then we will be able to protect it from hacking. And of course, this is a call to anyone reading this, download an authentication app because you never know when an attack of this kind will come your way.
The impressive ease with which you can link your social network accounts since nowadays hacks to personal accounts are the order of the day and I am surprised that many people still do not use this type of app since it is virtually impossible that they can do something to your account of the different social networks you have. The process is quite simple, in almost any social network you have your security tab, there should be some function which is double-authentication, click there and simply use Google Authenticator, you can link it by QR code, and ready, you have your account safe from hackers.
The truth is that it is an app that delivers what you ask for and gives you the temporary codes to access your account without any problem, but try to always have an open authenticator account to avoid problems in exporting your accounts to another device.

It is good for me at every level it - Easy to integrate with any application, Easy to use, Quick and responsive,
It is good to enhance security from one level to another level. I am using google authenticator for my Gmail account to secure one step ahead. We are storing crucial data over Gmail and I like QR codes to authenticate which is really too fast. Like Gmail, we can integrate google authenticator on other applications that contain more sensitive data just like Git. When I log in to the Git account, it asks me for two-factor authentication.
As of now, I didn't face any issues with google authenticator. It works with me hassle-free till now.

My workplace switch to Google Workspace, and I had to download this authenticator. I am not a fan of authenticator apps because they often do not work with my older Smartphone, but the setup with Google Authenticator was seamless and works every time.
Easiest authenticator to use and setup, it accepts all my user ids with no problem.
I wish there was a way to customize the background and categorize the user ids into folders.

It is a strong and secure app for its core purpose but lacks any frills and extra features.
1. There is a timer for every PIN code, preventing any misuse. i.e., the PINs expire automatically every 30 seconds. 2. There is an additional layer of safety with the option to reveal PINs only when you want to display them. 3. You can transfer your accounts seamlessly to a new device using a simple export and import account interface. You don't have to configure several accounts whenever you change your device. 4. You can also check the recent activity link to spot any suspicious activities. 5. You can reset the 2-step verification on your Google account or associated accounts, offering true portability. 6. You can even time-sync the codes provided by your device. This time correction will sync app and device times to ensure you get the security codes in real time. 7. It is easy to set up accounts using QR codes in two-step verification. 8. The app offers more robust security to users with two-step verification. You need to enter your password first and then enter the code provided by this app. 9. The logo that looks like the G of Google is an image of a high-security safe locker, reinforcing safety and security. 10. There is a dark mode as well to ensure the readability of codes.
1. The app's name is the same as its prime competitor – Microsoft, which may confuse some users. 2. Any trouble with the time of your device can lock you out of your accounts, leading to undue frustration and inconvenience. 3. The interface is too minimalistic without setting options like battery optimization, rearranging accounts, feedback, etc.: it sounds like "Take it or leave it." 4. The authentication codes are typically six-digit numerics but start with a G and a dash. It may confuse some users about whether to enter G or not. 5. It does not support the autofill passwords feature.

It is almost a ghost application. You do not know that it exists until it is required to perform its job. It is amazing how qucikly and easily you log in into tour accounts without any hustle. It needs to improve its design to provide more tolls to its users.
When there is a website or application working with Google authenticator, it is very easy to establish a secure way of protecting your account.
The program's design is too simple. You see only your connected accounts. As a user, I still do not know whether I can change the passwords of my accounts via google authenticator.

I have been a long-term user since I found out how easy it was to get hacked. That extra layer made me feel at peace knowing that it won't to easy for a hacker to access my account.
As any Authenticator would it provides you with an extra layer of security to access your files or for other people to access them. But it works across multiple platforms and notifies you when someone tries to access it without your permission. It gives you a one-time pin for you to log in to your account keeping it safe from people who might have access to your email and password. The pin also changes every 30 seconds making it impossible for others to guess or access it without your permission.
The user interface can be improved to match Google's current material design but other than that there's nothing I would want to be changed. Although more factors can be added to further improve security.
