I switched to ESET Security. My computer runs normal and doesnt seem slower with the same protection
Helps protect your computer from virus and has built in firewall for protection as well. Not expensive program
Seems to run in the background but maybe takes up a lot of memory because the computer seems to run slower.

It is able to scan my desktop frequently, it is pretty decent at finding different sorts of viruses impacting your operating system, whether minor malware or full on attack like a Trojan horse. It is also compatible with Android mobile devices.
It does not cover in depth areas as other antivirus software like ESET or BitDefender would normally do.

This is a solid endpoint solution for all my customers.
To put this simply, in 10 years of MSP I have only seen one infection get past AVG and that was after the death of XP in 2014.
Sometimes its a pain to repair or uninstall. After digging I realized the company had a very easy uninstaller to use.

No real cons. We ended up going with Endpoint for a more fulsome program.

Overall it is a good solution for the layman. If you need more comprehensive coverage use active endpoint solutions.
Other than installation which is straightforward, this software does not require a lot of effort on your side.
It is passive protection which does not protect from zero days. It is based on the update of the virus list in order to prevent viruses.

My overall experience with AVG Internet Security was personal security.
What I like most about AVG Internet Security software is that it does not restrict users who opt for the free version too much.
What I like least about AVG Internet Security software is that it can take up a good bit of ram when active

Security
the software is easy to download and to install. I run it once or twice a week to keep myself protected from hacking. This product along with the AVG PC Tune Up is all I need to keep my business and personal computing safe, secure and operating smoothly.
Not being very computer literate, I find some of the terminology used in questioning what I want to keep and what I want to delete confusing.

It was an ok Antivirus but in the end, it was not what we wanted. We switched over to Symantec endpoint protection because it works better.
Reasonably priced It protects against all threats online and will alert you if you install software that may be malicious It thoroughly scans your systems for threats It protects against hackers
It can slow down your computer system It deletes files without permission even if they may not be malicious files Very difficult to uninstall as it hides files in deep corners of your system and you have to manual search and delete

Good return on a minimal investment, considering the features available. The UI is very user-friendly and although it might use up considerable system resources, the security approach makes up for it with 24/7 support as well.
Multiple security layers are available i.e traditional signature scanning is backed up by heuristics, which enables the prediction of an attack with behavioral analysis. A threat vector that somehow escapes these primary layers still get caught from the 'CyberCapture' technology where a quick fix is created using AI in the cloud.
Lack of endpoint protection and recovery software could lead to recurring data breaches. For example, a secure sandbox is not available for trying out suspicious files.

I'm satisfied overall with AVG Internet Security and like the level of security it provides.
Browsing the internet is always risky is a thing of past if you have AVG Internet Security. I like the way AVG keeps me safe from malicious websites and files in the internet.
I think packing more features in the software itself to manage the overall heath of a computer would be a great addition.

Overall, AVG internet security is great lighter security application as compared to some other top rated applications of the same category.
First of all, AVG has an attractive and easy to manage user interface. It does not hammer the CPU as some other top rated security applications do. AVG scans an external device faster and quite effectively.
I did not find any serious issues with AVG internet security. However, its free version has very limited features and it is not really useful for a professional.

AVG Internet Security has been a peace of mind for us. Even as far as me using AVG on my personal equipment. AVG Internet Securty is FREE and a very good product. We will continue to use AVG Internet Security until something better comes along.
I like AVG Internet Security first because I can get it for FREE. Also because AVG Internet Security is very easy to install and use. We put AVG Internet Security on every equipment we have here. AVG Internet Security just as good as the security people pays hundreds of dollars for and it's free.
Well there is nothing that I can say that I dislike about AVG Internet Security at this time. But if something comes up in the future I will be sure to let you know.

Useful for enterprise level security purposes.
Catches viruses and automatically scans my laptop at a prescheduled interval. Alerts me to threats and overall security issues. It automatically updates to the latest patch.
It tends to slow down my computer when running, even in the background. This makes my other apps hang.

AVG Internet Security provides the most reliable security against the malwares. It is quite effective when implemented in a whole organization for the security against the virus attacks. It is our main defense system against the virus intrusions.
This tool is being mostly used in our organization for securing the servers and the downloaded content. This tool is solely responsible for securing my files and devices from the viruses attacks. I am using this tool for personal and effective security of my digital devices.
AVG Internet Security brings along itself with some cons which mostly include higher subscription charges and firewall security. It majorly slows down my working systems and effects my whole working.

Does the basic security job well enough.
I support AVG internet security on a couple client sites. Looking at the big picture, it generally does it's job (protecting PCs from infection and other threats) quite well. It does have a couple minor annoyances that tend to keep it from landing on my personal favorites list (see below)
AVG seems to generate a far greater number of alert pop ups compared to some competitive products. These are often worded in such a way as to be hard for end users to confidently know how (or if) to react. On a personal preference level, I simply do not like the appearance of the user interface. I find it functional, but visually unappealing.

I still use that Antivirus for small business, and it work well.
The fact that ESET endpoint security can be install on a file server and on all the pc.
I would like to say it is a cloud manage Antivirus, but you'll need the big endpoint to get it.

ESET has detected many cyber risk.
It consumes hardly any resources, is very quiet, has a great protection capacity and has functionalities for both inexperienced and professional users.
There are a little things that I don not like such as the ESET Endpoint Antivirus edition with a very limited range of features, abuse of pop-up windows and lack of own firewall in the basic version.
Thank you for your honest feedback, we really appreciate it. We're constantly working to improve our products and your comments will help us do that. Thank you for using ESET!

I think this antivirus can be useful for people who spend little time on the Internet and are not very interested in computers.
I have been searching for antivirus for a while and used a free trial of this antivirus. In this case, it provides the necessary support for an antivirus
I think this antivirus may not meet the requirements of our time. While its protective shield remains vulnerable to new viruses

its one of the best business server antivirus software in the market. its so easy and powerful that can create shield against any of the powerful viruses in the world like ransomware. and breaching the file from server is almost impossible with this. This is single-handedly solution for server antivirus

Good antivirus coverage. Detailed enough logs.
Using ESET, I always felt covered. It had good customer feedback, and also I saw a very high detection rate where it came to antivirus, as measured by third parties.
Later versions became intrusive and it was not possible to squash certain messages. As a network engineer with over a decade's professional experience, I felt "babied" at times and unable to configure the software how I wanted.

Fast and efficient antivirus and desktop firewall.
It seems to catch everything, we've seen it catch copycat viruses before anyone even knows what the virus is. It loads extremely fast and doesn't compromise processing power.
It's about as easy to configure as it is to replace the engine in your car. There are so many options and while you can put things on auopilot, the software when not fully configured leaves a lot to be desired.
