Pros

AVG Internet Security is really great, especially the free version. It has a lot of great tools that help your computer's speed and performance and detecting viruses.
The virus scanner is effective -- I haven't had any viruses on my business computers since installing. I am very happy with this product's ability to protect my data (and my clients' data).
When you are dealing with the client's confidential information you should have the best Antivirus protection and we are happy with the performance of the software.

Cons

In less then 24hrs of install I had screens locking up, I had false alerts , constant pop up and it did not prevent any outside source from attempting to cause an damage.
I have been using AVG for many years in order to protect both my own personal computer and my smartphone from unwanted viruses that can irreversibly damage my devices.
Constant irritating popups; this is basically a virus in and of itself by how annoying it is. It is not necessary for safe browsing if you aren't doing anything unusual.
