Daily backups of all cloud services.
It's very easy to add cloud services and schedule a backup as well as retention times. Daily status emails indicate success or failure of the backups. Failure messages include steps to resolve the issue. We have successfully restored data on a few occasions. Overall CloudAlly is easy to setup and use. The price is in line with expectations.
The status messages can be confusing in some cases, with one email indicating you need to resolve an account problem with one of your cloud services, and the next indicating you need to contact technical support to assist with the problem. The billing addresses have changed twice since we started using the software, and we pay a foreign currency fee for payment to a non-US company. It appears to be an Israeli held company at the moment.

Very easy to use and manage. Works with regular non-enterprise Google accounts which makes it ideal for individual users.

Backup of Microsoft 365 Onedrive, Sharepoint, Email, Teams to a different storage place then Azure. Default backup software of our Modern Workplace proposition
Full support of a lot of Cloud solutions, like Microsoft 365, Google, Dropbox. Integration over an Api, alerting over email and dashboard, price is very good, backup features are great! Everything works like expected and we are very satisfied with this tool. Also the option to choose the backupstorage is very cool!
It's originally an product from Israel, but the are very compliant so no concerns

All round good service and team - provides great peace of mind. It would be wonderful if CloudAlly also provided backup for Xero (small business finance product) and Wordpress websites as I have to put other back-up solutions in place for these products. Andrew

Excellent back up solution for Google Gsuite / Google Drive Users. If you administer your company's cloud accounts and need a simple to use but sophisticated back up solution Cloud Ally is all you need. Will Google or Microsoft lose your data? Probably not, but users must definitely will! Cloud Ally will secure your data against that possibility and have you back up and running very quickly. Once set up you can forget all about it until you need it.

Cloud Ally is easy to use, both configuring the backup and to search for backed up documents. It has solid features, and there is a really good support team. Cloud ally has also multi-factor authentication. Thumbs up
The only thing that could be negative is the speed of restoring backed up data from the service. Few click to start the restoring of the data and you get an email when it is done. So you dont have to manually follow up the job.

We use CloudAlly to backup executive mailboxes. It's VERY easy to setup and use. We've done folder and item level restores just to test and they work fine.
Incredibly easy to use, once you enter your tenant credentials, you just select which mailboxes to backup. They take care of the backend storage. And the price is great.
My only tiny complaint is I wish it would only email you when the backup failed. But the email shows mailboxes failed in red text so it's easy to just glance at it and delete. It has never once failed to backup.
Thank you for submitting your review.

Quick backup and restore, as promised.
Great Cloud services! It is easy to set up - backups, daily or weekly. The emails, giving info about the succes of each backup are very helpful. Its price is relatively fair.
It would be nice to have an option to search emails everywhere, not this is not available. Still this is not that important issue, just small inconvenience.
Thank you

Amazingly valuable! Fantastic cloud based backup. It has saved important files a few times. The nondestructive restoration is great as we didn’t lose any new files while restoring older ones. There is a free trial option as well which makes it hard to pass up at least trying them out
We haven’t run into anything bad to date. It delivers on what it promises.

Cloud Ally is extremely easy to use and integrates with a variety of services. Its very easy to set it up and then forget about it, but is there when you need it! We use it to backup Office 365 exchange email accounts, Box accounts, and Sharepoint. Its come in handy to recover lost files and deleted emails.
Sometimes it can be a little difficult finding emails to restore. I also wish that there was a global search option for emails. Currently, you can only search 1 mailbox backup at a time.

I had used other backup solutions but wanted something more secure and reliable. After doing some research online, I stumbled on CloudAlly and I almost dismissed it until I saw the 15 day free trial. So I knew I had nothing to lose, and if anything, 15 days is long enough to know whether this is a great backup app or another joke. So, I proceeded to sign up, and it was so easy because unlike many platforms that ask for an email, username, password, company name and God knows what else (all these details can be off-putting to new users, and there's absolutely no reason to ask too much from an entirely new user), CloudAlly allows sign up using your Google or Facebook account. My Gmail is always open on my computer so, this was a breeze. After signing up, I was logged in immediately and what amazed me was the simplest interface I have ever seen on a cloud backup platform. No clutter, annoying ads, pop ups and anything else that would make you locate the exit button. And with their simple interface comes easily accessible buttons directing you where to click in order to back up, and where to click when storing your data. One exceptional feature of this app is that unlike other apps like Google apps, Salesforce and Office 365, which rely on the trash folder for data recovery (data can be lost upon purging the trash folder), CloudAlly backs up everything to the cloud, making recovery super easy. It's one of the safest apps available since it's ISO 27001 certified and HIPAA compliant. It's very secure because it has Amazon S3 secure storage and it's encrypted as well. What's more, it starts from as low as $2 per month per user for 5GB data to $3 per month per user for anything more than 5GB. And annual subscriptions seem more affordable for companies because CloudAlly offers 2 months free subscription on annual plans. Highly recommended!
1. Easy to use - Easy to sign up, simple interface and clickable buttons 2. Affordable for companies especially for annual subscriptions 3. Data is safe, secure and encrypted

Intuitive, flexible and fully functional. These are the words that aptly described my experience with CloudAlly's excellent backup service. Prior to using CloudAlly, I had tweaked and worked with a couple of online backup services which at the best, required a medium to long term learning curve. Signing up to CloudAlly's service as a first time user, the simple, intuitive dashboard that clearly indicated the most important features - backup and restore was a pleasant discovery and a big relief. Navigation was a breeze and I got my backup procedure up and running in less than a minute (yes, less than 60 seconds). I concluded my entire backup exercise in a couple of minutes but I would definitely expect that the more data I need to backup, the longer this procedure would take. On a positive note, when you are done with the initial backup, CloudAlly will keep tag of subsequent changes and adds only new files or new versions of files when required. The list of accounts I can backup is quite impressive and it includes: Salesforce, Yahoo Mail, Amazon S3, Onedrive, Office 365 Exchange, Box, Google Apps and much more. If you are looking at combining two or more services or accounts, it is easy to select which service or account you want to backup on CloudAlly. I also discovered another agreeable feature: Setting up multiple users (admins) to access the account. This is a great feature in case you need work to be done by someone else. It means I can delegate tasks and know who did what and when via the audit trail. Interestingly, CloudAlly's restore process did not overwrite my currently existing data. As a matter of fact, all the data processed with CloudAlly are tagged "CloudAlly Restore" so you can easily know where your data came from when you perform a restore operation. Great feature! Did I mention that I organized my backup and restore procedure as a first time user without help? Yes I did and I should say that sometimes a user manual can be more difficult (to read or use) than the actual application, so I was pleased to discover that CloudAlly's comprehensive user guide (which is freely available to all subscribers) did not fit into this `difficult to read' category. Cloud to cloud back up is a must have for everyone on the Internet and kudos to Team CloudAlly for delivering an efficient, easy to use tool that makes the backup process a stress-free exercise.

Backblaze took a while for the initial backup and individual files seemed to restore during testing. We wont have a full impression until we do a full restoration test or are met with a total disaster recovery scenario.
Backblaze was very reasonably priced (about hundredth!) for unlimited backup storage compared to a local vendor that we had used for the last 15 years that charged per GB. They offer to return backups on physical media for the price of a deposit should total disaster occur, which would be quicker than downloading several terabytes of lost data.
I felt that the backup software was pretty inflexible, automatically omitting certain directories and not having a tree view for backup customisation. The default set up is basically backup everything except program files, temp files and the OS.

Overall it has made archiving and saving old documents much easier. And it is cheaper than purchasing external hard drives.
We had been using a separate hard drive to back up some very old product manuals and information, but it was cumbersome to keep track of who had the hard drive, or where it was. With Backblaze everyone can backup files to one place, which makes it easier for every one in the department find any information much easier.
The initial backup was very long. If you don't back up every day it can take quite a while for the data to convert and backup.

Incredibly fast backups and restorations. Integration with popular backup software.
The speed is incredible and pricing per GB for BackBlaze B2 is lower than Amazon Glacier and Microsoft Azure. Plus, they publish an annual report on hard drive failure rates that is extremely valuable.
A few years ago, my only gripe was the amount of industry integrations. Since then, however, they've added many, many new ones that resolve my concerns.

This software does a great job of keeping a daily backup of my computer without even thinking about it. Always have a backup just in case you lose something or anything happens.
Sometimes I forget to leave my laptop open for it to update overnight but that's more a laptop issue than software problem. Also, if you backup any drives, don't forget to connect them before going to bed...

Unbeatable price and unlimited online backup. Essentially the ultimate offering in cloud backup services. SSL encrypted and they'll send you your files or let you download them, plus they allow file sharing.
After Crashplan personal went away, I was in need of a new comparable backup service. Backblaze seemed like the best alternative. After a long time of researching new companies, I decided to give them a try. I have about 3TB of data I need to backup, but that's not all the data I have. The fatal flaw with Backblaze is it does not allow you to choose which folders and files to backup! Without this the software is basically useless unless you are someone who just wants to backup a small amount of data (ideally less than 100GB or so).

Peace of mind and another solid step in the 1-2-3 backup strategy.
The fact that there are native apps for each platform instead of cruddy Java apps. Unlimited backup storage, including any external hard drives you want to back up, is simply terrific and unmatched for the price.
I can think of literally nothing bad to say about Backblaze. Just a note if you use it on a laptop and have the backup frequency set to "Always." Don't forget to pause Backblaze when you're tethering from your phone; it will eat up data if given the opportunity.

Incredibly much storage space for such low cost; good upload speed; the encrption is secure and you can even create private encryption. Peace of mind!
If you don't want to fuss about with settings and your primary reason is to have a backup of all of your files, Backblaze is great as a blanket backup of your system. You have control over scheduling the backup session, and you can also set a rule for pausing the backup should there be times of intense bandwidth traffic. The data is encrypted using AES military grade encryption and moved to the cloud through secure SSL connection. Or you can even create your own private encryption.
It operates on an exclusion based system, but I would much prefer an inclusive based system where I could visualise a folder tree of everything on the hard drive to let me choose which items to sync to online storage; easily accessible per folder synchronisation options would be great.

Overall it solved the problem of where to store our old emails which makes repeat requests much easier to find and respond to a customer much faster.
We receive over 1,000 emails a month just between mechanical and electrical after sales support. I am the 'gatekeeper' of the email archives. We originally had them on a separate server, but that became buggy. And it wasn't searchable. With backblaze you can back up automatically every day anything and everything on the computer, and be able to retrieve it at any time. This eliminated the need to have a separate hard drive that everyone would have to map to, and the plug into their computer if they needed an older email.
The only downside is the backup can take a while if you don't have it set to do it every day. If you do it every week and you have a lot of data it could take hours for it to backup.

It's easy to set up, then requires nothing to maintain. Everything functions pretty automatically. The initial upload speed was fair. It allows lots of space for backup.
It isn't very user friendly to know what files have been backed up versus which files are queued for backup. Nor is it easy to figure out how to access those files from the cloud if you ever needed to. There is no file versioning, so if you need an older version of a file, you are out of luck. The backup is also limited to whatever you have on your harddrive - it doesn't backup external harddrives, and any file that has not been on your harddrive for more than 30 days gets deleted from the backup as well.

It was easy to setup and configure the software. It ran in the background unattended. It was able to dd or remove folders quickly.
The one time I needed the software to actually work for a backup it failed. It was not able to retain my existing backup when I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my desktop. I was told I needed to re-upload my entire data-set again.
Hey Brad - It can be quite annoying when one has to repush... although it can happen when 3rd party software impedes our "inherit backup state" feature. Please let us know if this continues to be an issue an we're happy to help troubleshoot
