My overall experience with Cloudflare has been amazing. While their support can be frustrating at times with making you go around in circles understanding the issue, in the end, they get things solved, and will often pass you up the chain to their Tier 2 support to have a personal connection to try and get things sorted.
When we first used Cloudflare as our CDN, we discovered brilliance. Finally a CDN for everyone, with a freemium model to get your services round the globe at a fraction of the cost of everyone else. Be careful though, once you're in this freemium model, you're soon diving deep into all of their features where you're MORE than happy to hand over the money. From Network and Device security in Cloudflare for Teams to WAFs, easy to use page rules, Tunnelling, and optimisations for delivery across the network, you're soon using it all and using it all without the need for large IT teams to get it set up.
A few downsides, which are all related, is somethings things aren't quite working and you're not sure why. It seems the features of the system grew massively and more quickly than they were expecting and their UI and UX didn't keep up. Once you get on the chat and they explain what's going on, it's easy to fix, however for the moment, it can be confusing to try and figure it out yourself.

My overall experience with Cloudflare is great. Have been using since last 5+ years. Since 2019 they have launched many more product offerings. I use their DNS, CDN, Firewall Rules, Access and Teams for my WordPress powered blog.
Offers an wonderful free plan. Easy to switch on/off features. Easy to migrate from other providers. Fastest DNS in the World. Firewall Rules to block certain URLs. Cloudflare Access and Teams to protect my WordPress Backend. Early adopters of new technologies like HTTP/2, HTTP/3, DoH, etc... Free DDoS protection. Hides your email id from bots. Know your site speed. Free Origin certificates.
Plans are based on features which is different than the industry. Less page rules for free plan. Don't like the captchas. Rate limit 404s and Bypass cache on cookie available only on Business plan.

The overall experience has been very positive. Protected, supported by a great service, with the options to alter and pivot in real time saves time and money. Cloudflare is a clear first choice.
From the protection of domains, customizable firewall and caching rules, DDoS protection, and the ability of their support teams to implement better and faster solutions, Cloudflare is in my opinion a top tier choice for any company wanting to better protect their online presence.
Some options in Cloudflare are defaulted to a lower standard then what is most secure currently.

I have been using Cloudflare from its early days. It's easy to use, with a good feature set. Their responsiveness to online threats is great. The WAF is flexible and gives me full control of what comes through to our servers. Their Zero trust initiative (Teams, Access, Gateway) complements the web security features nicely and we use it for business and at home (Gateway DNS).
- Flexible configuration - Easy to use dashboard - Responsive support (mainly for paid accounts) - Frequent opportunities to beta test new features
Using Cloudflare is easy but you will need a minimum knowledge of concepts such as DNS, CDN, firewall, security to effectively use the platform.

Most of my websites are on CloudFlare, here I can separate DNS settings, improve the loading of my files with the cache and I can program many variables to make the user experience effective. I have not taken advantage of it 100% because the platform is very robust but I like it.
Cloudflare offers website protection as well as speed by using cache and other technologies. I have seen better results adding the websites here than just using them on their own hosting. CloudFlare is a service that should always be considered.
Configuration can be complicated for those who are not programmers or web experts. Prices are expensive for some kind of project.

I am satisfied using CloudFlare from 5 years ago till now, I like its feature such as cache, web optimization and recent feature email redirection. But I am not like with its pricing which is expensive for individuals
Cache, website optimization and DNS management is very helpful for most website. Also, CloudFlare has static hosting for Jamstack website, listed Gatsby, Next or React on its host
Pricing and freemium, there's some restriction for users

Overall, CloudFlare is so comprehensive that I cannot imagine my web experience without it. I recommend without any hesitation!
Having customers connecting to our website was a big focus for us, and thanks to Argo, we've seen that our customers from USA were able to access our website 47% faster. That single factor made all the difference.
There is not trial offer for Argo by CloudFlare, which would have been great for people wanting to test the solution before making a purchase.

Cloudflare has helped me so much, majorly in increasing my site page speed and loading speed for my pages, as well made my site accessible by other network providers.
What i like most about this software is the easy accessibility provided to users whereby i can easily do the hosting and domain setup for my sites with ease.
Everything about cloudflare is cool, hence what i like least is that it does not provide enough hosting resources for free users except for premium plans.

Cloudflare is an easy way to accelerate your website and it also protects your site against attacks. Thanks to Cloudflare my website is able to load faster - it's key element for mobile devices!
For me, Cloudflare is cons free - for now. As I set it up I don't need to log there to make some changes. Everything works properly.

Overall, Cloudflare delivers excellent security and performance enhancements, with its global CDN and DDoS protection being standout features. While there are some challenges with configuration and caching, the user-friendly interface and robust support make it a strong choice for most users.
Cloudflare offers robust security features, improves website performance with its global CDN, provides reliable DDoS protection, and offers easy-to-use management tools.
Cons of Cloudflare include potential service disruptions during configuration, occasional issues with caching, limited customization for advanced users, and dependency on their infrastructure for security and performance.

* Best and the market leader for providing CDN. * Servers CDN from many locations and is having the largest network of CDN servers. * Can protect against massive DDOS attacks. * Extremely easy to set up the basic CDN and DDOS protection. * Provides easy to use DNS editor to configure the domain. * We can set rules for routing and traffic management. * Block bad actors based on AI and incoming traffic. * Extremely cost effective and has the best free plan available. * Can serve the websites from cached versions in case of end point server outage.
* DDOS Mode if activated can cause captcha protection to appear for many legitimate users as well for initial load. This might deter or make them leave the site

LOVE how convenient it is to set it up. Packed with value without costing a cent.
It is very easy to setup SSL for our domains, while getting CDN capabilities that enhances the speed for our sites for totally free.
It does it’s job really well so I personally do not have any complaints against it - especially since many of the features are for free.

I used it for a niche blog and increased site speed and security. It was difficult for me to understand the results of the changes I just made during the process. Other than that it's an excellent tool.
It is very easy to integrate with websites. After the integration, the installation processes and the many free opportunities it offers seriously affect the site performance and security. The pricing policy is high at some points, but the variety makes the features accessible.
There may be more understandable user documentation for the uninitiated or first time users. Predictions for what the results will be can be added when certain settings are made.

I'm using Cloudflare DNS service for my web app and it has decreased my site's DNS resolution time significantly. Mostly resolves in less than 20ms.
Got set-up in minutes. Copied most of my DNS records automatically from my previous DNS server. DNS resolution is really fast. Protection from DDoS attacks.
The starter plan is a bit too expensive for indie makers.

Excellent. The situation was that I was building a landing page for a client. I needed to connect their domain to my funnel builder and my client already bought a domain with GoDaddy. I could not for the life of me point the domain properly. I even engaged GoDaddy support twice to help me resolve it (wasting hours). I had a tech-savvy friend who recommended I try to bypass GoDaddy by using CloudFlare. He walked me through somewhat on how to use it, and it worked like magic.
I loved the fact that it was free. I loved the fact that they solved a problem for me with GoDaddy making things super difficult (as they do).
Nothing not to like, I have not had much experience with it, but the single reason I signed up for a free account solved a massive headache for me.

Improves a website's performance and security.
Cloudflare is my goto DNS, CDN and Security provider. In my opinion, they are the best of the best. If you have a domain on the web, you should be using Cloudflare, it's just that simple. They'll cache your website, compress code, make it faster and secure it all at the same time.
The pricing is beginning to climb but for what you get I think the value is still there. Even their free version has more going for it than other DNS providers.

The Cloudflare platform allows us to identify the behavior of our visitors and bots, which other types of common analytical technologies are not capable of. Its WAF function gives us the protection of our DDos and SSL certificates, thus also protecting website owners and visitors from any online threat. There is not much to say that we have not said before. Cloudflare seemed to us from the beginning a great investment, full of labor advantages. The ease with which we can integrate the cloudflare platform to other services through the use of API tools has turned out to be very convenient. Totally recommended.
Cloudfare provides a fairly customizable open API, and its encryption system is safe for sites whose purpose is to protect intellectual property. Cloudflare has a convenient system for creating web traffic reports, and allows prioritizing threats to our website. Cloudflare is a network protection service highly recommended to carry a secure management and without problems. Its use is highly recommended for businesses with large networks, in order to avoid material losses. This platform is considered indispensable for web security.
Its system for tracking extraordinary events is not very customizable. It is quite limited when it comes to the removal of spyware, and can not do analysis of the vulnerabilities closest to our page. In addition, it does not offer protection guarantees for attachments, or anti-spam filter for emails.

Although Cloudflare is probably great for the Internet and most users will benefit, watch out for the sneaky headaches it can cause for developers.
If you read what they do it's mind blowing. Almost everything about Cloudflare is great... Almost everything
As a developer I have run into painful caching issues thanks to Clouldflare. One time I was receiving a super unhelpful Cloudflare "call your administrator" type message, only to find out Cloudflare was blocking a particular API request. Not cool

I run DNS for all my hosting business through Cloudflare. The base-level firewall and caching keeps so much traffic from reaching my servers out of the box that I don't know what I'd do without it. Once you add in manually-configured firewall rules and specific cache instructions, both malicious traffic and legit requests overloading my servers drops even further. The API integration also allows me to add firewall rules based on alerts about malicious activity that I receive from things like fail2ban on my servers. This pushes the IP blocking one step further away from a single server and also protects my entire network of servers and sites from a malicious IP that has triggered a report from one server/site in the newtork.
Really fast updates to zone records Amazing firewall and DDOS protection keep server load under control Edge cache speeds TTFB and keeps origin server bandwidth low JS Workers are AWESOME and come with a great free tier Great admin UI
I exclusively use the free tier for 40 domains and I really can't think of a single thing that CloudFlare could offer at this price that I could reasonably expect to get for free. I would be sunk without the free tier and am totally grateful for all they offer.

Cloudflare is really neat. I use it in conjunction with a Github site I created to provide some add-ons for my site and SSL support that I would not have been able to do otherwise. In addition, their caching of pages ensures that even if your server goes down, your site is still accessible!
They did recently have an outage event for a couple hours that made all Cloudflare sites inaccessible. It was fixed quickly, but it was a major issue for a short time.

I've benefited a lot from all the SSL certificates Cloudflare provided for my websites as well the easy domain registration ability they just gave me.
I like how easily I can move and manage all my websites in Cloudflare. Each website also has SSL automatically when I move them over.
There is nothing much to dislike. They offer great services for free.

It has all features necessary to easily set up a Web Application Firewall. Custom rules can be implemented to tweak cybersecurity controls for your app specifically.
Cloudflare is pretty expensive and hard to get implemented for smaller companies.
