Pros

Dashlane is an established and trusted password manager. It makes it easy to manage multiple passwords, and also generates very strong passwords which is important in our business.
Dashlane has a beautiful, clean UI. It also has excellent integrations for all major browsers as well as mobile platforms.
A secure and organized way to keep track of your many passwords. You don't have to remember any of them and manage your online accounts with peace of mind effectively.

Pros

Being able to have a collection of passwords for a single client and allow our contractors access to only those passwords (and the ability to kick 'em out if needed), is worth its weight in gold.
I like that it's very user-friendly. I also use the Chrome extension of TeamPassword a LOT — it's been a lifesaver for easily logging in to sites and tools each day.
It's simple, cost effective and does a great job. I very much like TeamPassword.

Cons

If you lose the master password, all the information is lost forever.
Suddenly stared failing without any reasons or hardware problems. One day it was working fine, then suddenly it just stopped working properly.
The only downside is if you have multiple credentials for one website, Dashlane will autofill for one credential which can make it time consuming to delete and reenter the correct details.

Cons

I found that I was getting way too many email notifications from the tool. You can turn them off, but it was annoying in the beginning.
No versatile application starting at yet. To relegate new clients to a gathering, you need to independently include them into each gathering; takes excessively time.
It can be a bit cumbersome to add new users. Password storage is limited to websites.

Must-have for large team using many passwords

Reviewed 4 years ago

I haven't used any other password sharing app but this is an absolute must-have if you are sharing logins with multiple users in your organization.

Pros

TeamPassword allows our team to share passwords for the many shared applications we use to do business. Passwords can easily be updated so everyone has access and it's more secure than logging passwords on a physical or web document.

Cons

I've experienced some lagging issues but they are very minor. It would be great if the mobile version had a better UI.

Team Password: Smoothly And Easily Connect Your Entire Team

Reviewed 5 years ago

For a large team with many different passwords and levels of access or for a smaller team with individual passwords TeamPassword is the perfect choice. As a team our passwords are safe and for our clients their passwords are safe as well which generates trust and more business. It is easy and efficient to use TeamPassword to be able to search and share passwords throughout the team for our clients. At the same time it is essential to keep different access levels limited and TeamPassword handles this need too.

Pros

TeamPassword keeps the information up to date in one spot making it easy to transfer clients between team members. The ability to limit access and create individual groups. You are also able to add your own passwords and limit them to yourself which is a plus.

Cons

On occasion TeamPassword closes without saving the information it dropped when I want to reference multiple pages to grab the username, password, and URL leaving no choice but to start over. Loading can be slow at times.

Pros

It is incredibly easy to use and is an excellent way for our entire team to store passwords in one place.

Cons

No big cons. Only one would maybe be an option to store passwords that aren't for websites. For example, if we could also store passwords for desktop applications or other programs.

Convenient and confidential

Reviewed 6 years ago

I'm able to easily manage the login details for my SAAS products and share them with my team without worrying about security.

Pros

It's really easy to manage our passwords and give access to the relevant members of the team. We can also control who gets access to which login details which means working with third parties or keeping more mission critical credentials locked down is really simple.

Cons

One suggestion would be for a browser plugin but I'd rather be on the side of security than convenience.

No-frills, easy to use, the best for distributed teams.

Reviewed a year ago

Sharing passwords of client accounts with remote and highly distributed teams is always a complicated process. TeamPassword gave us the ease of use to be quickly understood by the full team and the security to easily share those passwords to our teams, with the added advantage of not needing to remember them!

Pros

It is super intuitive, easy to start using, and the chrome extension is flawless and fast. After trying a few of the most known password managers for teams on the market, I am sure this is the best for distributed teams.

Cons

By being so intuitive and easy to start, there is also a small trade-off of fancy (somewhat unnecessary) advanced capabilities such as dashboard views of all passwords. But I wouldn't even consider this a flaw... it is just no-frills. They use Google Authenticator as their 2factor which makes sense, but as some competitors have their own (paid) alternative to that, adding here too.

Vendor response

Danilo, Thank you for leaving us such a detailed and thoughtful review! We really appreciate it. I'm glad to hear that you've found the interface intuitive. That's our goal. We believe that the easier cybersecurity tools are to use, the more likely people will use them. Which is especially important for businesses and teams.

Great password tool to integrate your team

TeamPassword solves a lot of problems, so we are fine with this tool.

Pros

TeamPassword is a great tool to assign passwords for groups and can be integrated with Google Chrome. We can assign passwords in one place and share it with our squads.

Cons

Is not easy to assign or remove password massively, you have to do the job one by one. Maybe they can work better for mobile integration.

The best way to safely manage passwords across the team and with contractors

Reviewed 6 years ago

We can securely manage our shared passwords across the team, and with guests.

Pros

The groups are the killer feature for us. Being able to have a collection of passwords for a single client and allow our contractors access to only those passwords (and the ability to kick 'em out if needed), is worth its weight in gold.

Cons

Would love tighter integration on my iPhone (but that's the case with every password manager I've tried thanks to iOS restrictions). Not a deal breaker at all.

Straightforward, easy to use and secure Password Manager

Reviewed a year ago

TeamPassword is a great tool and, of course, the team features are front and centre. It is so easy to add my team members and share any logins needed for collaboration on projects. It would be impossible to calculate how much time the Google Chrome Extention has saved me. The whole product is so easy to use and so quickly becomes vital that I couldn't imagine going back to not having a password manager.

Pros

The best feature of TeamPassword is its great Google Chrome integration. It's easy to use, and the site detection and password auto-fill are snappy and saves so much time. TeamPassword's encryption also gives us peace of mind and helps us meet our security requirements for our customers.

Cons

Not much missing, to be honest. Options to add different formats of details besides passwords would be good if we wanted to save company card details for example.

Vendor response

Great way to quickly and securely share passwords with team members.

Reviewed 6 years ago

I am able to easily and securely store passwords and share them with team members. Gone are the days of emailing someone a password!

Pros

- I love the ability to copy passwords without actually seeing them. This ensure that the integrity of the password does not get compromised. - Ability to give groups of users access to groups of passwords is great.

Cons

- It can be a bit cumbersome to add new users - Password storage is limited to websites - There is no "offline" mode, which might be useful, especially for security purposes.

I love TeamPassword

Reviewed 6 years ago

We can generate extremely long / secure passwords for accounts that need to be shared between multiple people or where multi-user support is not provided. The password store has team-based access controls which is awesome for ease of management while maintaining the least-privilege principle.

Pros

The chrome extension makes it super easy to use in the right context. It also supports single-sign-on with G Suite/Google Apps for Work.

Cons

I have to remember to find and click the "save" button. There have been a few times this has bit me.
