It worked but we needed to put all our files into a single directory. Probably we lost some information on how to install or setup.
Is probably one of the easier solutions to implement. Plug n Play, but you cannot change a lot of things. Simply works without supervision
Less options compared with our final solution (Synology) Easy to backup the main directory, but if you have a more diverse file system, is not so easy to implement

It offers a significant amount of data backup space.
We need to download it separately. It is not integrated with other products. Backups must be done manually.

My overall experience with Dropbox has been very good.
It is reliable. It stores our documents, including prior versions, and just "works."
The search functionality could be greatly improved, but that is probably my only complaint.

As a software engineer, the most impactful features are version control and file history, auto sync, and data privacy and security.
The most critical features to be improved are advanced search, enhanced performance for large files, and more granular access control like adding restriction based on IP addresses.

Dropbox is a means of storing files that can be transferred if desired by synchronizing or doing it manually.
What I like about Dropbox is that you can manually download files from your Dropbox account to another external location or another online storage service.
What I don't like is the security on Dropbox; I don't find it convincing enough compared to other storage services like iCloud, for example.

In my experience, this is one of the best platforms to share files and backup all my work things because is very intuitive and faster
The dropbox backup service is one of the most easiest platforms to share all kind of files with your friends, partners or family
The price of the account its a standar price in the market, maybe they should offert different plans to have the high benefits

It is easy and intuitive. The user experience is very friendly. It runs primarily on web so its always available. I don't have to worry if I have deleted some files.
I can hold all my desktop documents on cloud with highest security. Dropbox Backup has heaps of good features. Their private folder is the best.
There are a lot of options in market which provide similar solutions at a much cheaper price. Dropbox is on the pricier side.

There's an equal chance of Dropbox Backup working properly and your in-laws showing up at the absolute worst and most inappropriate time. If that didn't translate correctly- Dropbox Backup= Great, Reliable.
Dropbox Backup works with Dropbox and Dropbox Business only. I didn't care very much for Dropbox and no longer needed Dropbox Backup. It'd be great to see this company release a similar software that can be used elsewhere.

I used Dropbox to store documents from my phone. It is easy in use and you can easily access your documents on any computer.
The storage is limited and because I didn't want to pay for more space, I don't use my Dropbox anymore.

Although it offers user-friendly interface, it does not include search function for users with free account.
I find it easy to install on my Mac then syn the folders on my phone.
The cost is obviously higher than similar services.

Dropbox is easy to setup. It supports most devices. Also good for large file backup. The automatic backup feature is also a plus.
Dropbox takes too much time to upload a file. The security is actually not the best.

I think it has a limited storage for non-paid user and it better to upgrade the capability for security.
The ideal feature is to allow me to share my file with other users who even dont have account for dropbox.
The feature of security is not 2 layers as other clouds that sometimes need to be cautious.

Dropbox provides a free backup service from the desktop app or via a web browser. I've found it very helpful as a passive background tool to keep my files backed-up.
The thing I like most about Dropbox is the way it integrates with so many other online services.
The thing I like least about Dropbox is the regular upsell for a subscription service.

Poor, I would say. Didn't really love using it, good thing we decided to switch. Personally, I did not find it to be user-friendly as the other software we're currently using, sorry.
Nothing, we tried using it for more than a year but it just didn't work for us, sorry.
Everything, it's not just the same as GDrive, plus it's too expensive. My company decided to switch because it was costing us a lot to be honest.

With features of automatic backup of specified team files and folder with secured encryption, what I like most about dropbox backup is it's exceptional customer support. Anytime we face a issue and we can talk to their support team within minutes. No chats, no tickets , no drama unlike other providers- Direct one to one talk with representative.
Although it has very nice UI, sometimes it's navigation is bit difficult for managing team. Only few trained people can set it up and use it regularly for entire team.

most important data I put on dropbox, security guaranteed, even remotely. Great company.
the seriousness of the company, has been in business for many years and has adopted a policy of quality data consevation. The "bits" are not all the same in terms of how they are stored in the various competing clouds; the dropbox systems (although they do not publicize these technical aspects too much) are the top. So if you care about your data you are in the right place.
the cost is not the cheapest and the free level is smaller than the competition. But they are correct commecial policies! You can't keep data safe with just any free cloud because free tiers of any online service (not just cloud, even email services for example) are not guaranteed. If you want a service you have to pay for it! Their cloud is the most secure so they are right not to be the cheapest, plus the free tier should be used as a test and not perpetual security of your data (with any cloud)
