The benefits I received from the software is a sense of appreciation knowing that our user and server environment is being protected.
I like the ease of deployment and managing devices in the cloud. I also like the emails that are sent out informing me about new viruses and how to remove or protect myself from them.

They do have a great support staff for questions.
We have used this to protect our computer systems for many years. Great product.
Auto renew has been an issue before, but I think overall no issues.
Glad you're having a good experience using Webroot! Stay safe out there!

Scored from perfect to very good in our tests. Can recover files encrypted by ransomware. Uses tiny amount of disk space. Very fast scan. Handles unknown malware. Includes firewall.
One of the best antivirus that i have tried. It has a affordable price and cover multiple platforms, the price depends on the quantity of devices you want to protect. It protect yourself from identity theft and no time-consuming updates or slow scans.
Product does not provide for a bootable rescue CD. Sometimes you got errors of compatibility when you start the machines (Mac) but after open the software and check it will disappear.

This will add a layer of protection to your computers at work, however it does not protect you against everything and common practices such as not opening suspicious attachments should still be maintained.
The software is not very intrusive and just runs in the background. The admin can easily manage all the instances of the software running on other computers.
There are some false positive detections at times and adding exclusions to the system is can be a tedious task at times. Pricing for licenses can add up over time, especially as a company grows.
Thanks so much for the review! If you're ever having difficulty with false-positives, please contact our support team so that they can modify the threat detection appropriately. You can reach them here: https://www.webroot.com/us/en/business/support/contact

Business grade protection, cloud control
I most like the simple and common interface, works on PC & Mac, with a single control panel, cloud hosted means escalation events are available to follow the helpdesk.
Previously we used a used another product, and both the user interface and server control were adequate, but pale in comparison - should have moved to Webroot sooner!

Not a lot to say. It's supposed to protect your computer from viruses, and it does just that. No problems since using it for the past few years. Way less intrusive than Norton and others (pop-ups, etc).
No real problems. It does what is supposed to.
Glad you are having a good experience using Webroot! Thanks for the feedback!

We signed up with Webroot through Atera and were pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and security of Webroot.
Webroot was easy to use and deployed easily across all our clients. We only had to open a single support ticket and it was resolved quickly by Webroot support. Highly recommended for MSPs looking to protect their clients.
Advanced deployment methods are available but we found that there was some incompatibility with InTune automated deployment. We never quite got it to work but manual installation takes just a few minutes.

Overall it is easy to use, scan quickly and protects my PC
It is very easy to install and use. Running a full system scan is also very fast. I like that it does not slow down my PC and the protection seems pretty good. It also has a good price as compared to some of the other protection software products.
I have had the software for some time and in a few of the earlier versions it did not protect as well against malware so I did have a bit of trouble. But in recent years it has been improved. Currently I use it with Malwarebytes and have had good luck with the two.

I absolutely love Webroot. It doesn't slow down any of our computers, it does protect you, but it doesn't annoy you to death with prompts. One of the big issues I've had with antivirus software in the past is that it would constantly block something that was safe for me to do. I have NEVER had Webroot do that.
I mean, could they branch out and start making other software products outside of security? Their software has worked so well, I don't have any complaints.

It is doing a pretty decent job for me since installation and I hope you can also keep your files safely without annoying pop-ups. A simple interface and powerful feature. Highly recommended.
A simple interface with powerful features. Webroot did not consume too much of RAM and protect your files safe and secure. It does not take more time for scanning process & it was quick and efficient. And it not annoying for daily updates and it works smoothly in background. Price wise it worthy when compared to other antivirus softwares and moreover it does not slow down the PC.
Since my installation, it doing a great job for me and my files are safe with Webroot endpoint protection. Sometimes it mistakenly marking safe files as a threat and rather than this I don't have any bad impressions regarding this software.
Thanks so much for making this thorough and honest review! We really appreciate the feedback!

Easy to set up and administer for IT professionals. Cloud access console for management, integrates with more rmm tools
Not easy to figure out administration the first few times, until you get the hang of it. Not a next-gen AV, so only for those who are okay with having a legacy AV solution in place.

Webroot SecureAnywhere is a good product and does an adequate job.
I like that it pulls the filters from a cloud storage location and not store them locally on the hard drive.
This software can be taxing on the memory and CPU. As a result I try to have it run late at night when I'm using my machines.

Webroot has great customer service, but like many companies these days, it not easy to "touch" anyone. Submitted emails are promptly answered and usually instructive - just don't expect to talk with someone.
In the four years I've been using Webroot, I have received seamless protection against malware, viruses and trojans with no effort other than the initial installation of the product. It works quietly in the background without any need to be noticed...except when there is a real threat or security issue - so when Webroot send a notification you know its time to pay attention and do what's needed to protect your system.
There have been times when Webroot has been overprotective - blocking a program or site that I know is safe - and it has not been easy or intuitive to configure the software to allow access. Configurable options tend to have very technical definitions. It's seldom easy to understand how, or what, to change during those instances.
Appreciate the descriptive feedback about the difficulties you had with whitelisting processes! thank you!

Extremely fast, real-time updates and easy to use!
Provides user licenses for up to 3 or more systems. Cloud-based, instant updates, sync with smartphone app for Android or Apple.
Suggest a 30-day trial version of software for new users to compare with existing protection platform software.
Thank you so much for the detailed review! Glad you're finding our cloud-based threat management system to be effective for your needs! -Webroot Community Team

As an MSP, we have a happier customer base who no longer log tickets about slow pachines and constant malware issues.
Webroot is a small, efficient client with a cloud back-end enabling quick and reliable detection and elimination of malware and other threats.
There isnt much on this list. The only frustration I have had is it can be slow to update the client when changes are made from the GSM console.

very easy to manage your PC and monitor any threats. It comes with 25 GB cloud backup for your top priority files. Lite on resources and aggressive with threats. Strongly recommended.
I loved the software how it handles the threats and manage to use very small amount of resources.
I noticed there is no update bottom which makes me unsure if it's database was updated or no.

it is a great product and doesn't consume much time at all. Fast to deploy and maintain for even mid size companies.
Pricing is very competitive and product functions better than other. Automatic updates is great so no touching machines. It can deploy via GPO and has an cloud interface for management.

It has been a great value for money and helped us keep our clients secured and satisfied. Helped us monitoring and managing devices.
Easy to install, manage and monitor. Really time protection and updated on cloud base. Threat intelligence working really good. Admin center easy to use. Can create group for each client.
Admin center sometimes keep computers been uninstalled. There is no report of devices been offline or not connected to database. If they can offer mobile devices protection

Implementation was easy. I wish there was a way to install this software over the network instead of manually installing it on each PC. So far, satisfied with this software and the price.
We use this option over VIPER because it was a cheaper and more efficient alternative. With Webroot we are able to use an affordable cloud-base solution for 100 seats.
I do not have any cons with this software yet. We just implemented it this year and I haven't had a chance to fully dive into it as much as I would like.

Webroot SecureAnywhere its fits so well we our business, allowing us to secure all our costumer’s network with a minimal footprint agent installed on every endpoint. Is an easy deployment solution and even easier to manage, because it’s a cloud-based solution that allow us to monitor every costumer easily in a few minutes. And because it’s a cloud based solutions, we don’t need additional software or hardware installed to start to secure the network. Another AV solutions offer different kind of licenses according to what kind of device you want to secure, but with webroot one license work with workstation and servers the same.
The small footprint of the agent, because it help with an easy and faster deployment
Dosn't support Linux distribution and that is something that make you thing if is the right solution when you have many linux endpoints

What I like the most about Webroot is it's light footprint and how it uses hardly any resources. You won't even notice when it scans. I also like that it doesn't use definitions in a classical sense, and rather it is cloud-based.
Webroot has had a reputation over the last year or so to create so big headaches with false positives, and negative interactions with certain programs. But overall I believe they are working hard to prevent further issues.

Efficacy, ease of use (It's set and forget), web threat blocking is second to none. Centrally managed through a console and no definitions to download on the system making it the lightest in the world.
The product is the lightest in the industry and all management is done through a centralized web console. Efficacy is one of the highest in the industry as well. The Web Threat Shield and Webroot's cloud intelligence is very good at keeping you away from nasty internet sites that contain malware payloads.
They just need to integrate all of their product portfolio into the Global Site Manger console. Other than that, it's a perfect fit for MSP's and home users alike

This software does everything you need it to do. I've used this a few times for some of the companies I have worked for and it's very powerful and protecting your computer from the point onward of when you install.
There were very few issues I saw with this software. Granted, I did not use it probably long enough to find many bugs, but I could tell there was some slight glitches if you needed to use various IP address integrating with the various cloud servers. That being said, that's not something most people are going to have to worry about and often plagues many different software programs with dealing the various firewalls.
Thank you so much for your review! We really appreciate your feedback. Sincerely, The Webroot Community Team

Less admin overhead and less of a resource hog on the end points. It is a little harder to deploy, but since it is not 500GB, like some of the major players in the space, it works really well. Support has been good for helping us with some detections but the lack of fixed IP space for the clients to connect to is frustrating. And installing with the proxy setting is not always consistent.
The footprint is tiny. It is very fast and efficient. It does not slow down systems when it is working. Support is pretty good. I would say this is good software for a MSP or a smaller Org. We might find a replacement if they can't fix their problems.
It needs to talk to Amazon Cloud to check in with the portal. We don't allow access out to the internet without a proxy. WebRoot IP's are changing because they are on AWS. So we can't put IP based rules in our firewalls to allow access. And we are not going to allow all AWS IP's. I really wish WR would get a range of fixed IP's so the client can attach. When they can't attach, they get disconnected. They have a proxy option while installing, but it seems kind of intermittent. Works sometimes, and sometimes not.
