The best feature, for me, is that I can quickly jump from premier pro into audition to jump into the audio in much more detail than premiers' tools.
I can't really fault it in all honesty. Audio isn't my strongest point in the company so I would probably say the price of the adobe full suite can put companies off.

Audition allows my team to help our clients podcasts sound amazing. When you are recording remotely there will always be some background noises, and Audition helps us to remove those cell phone rings, baby cries, and dog barks.
I love how Audition allows for advanced audio editing. Aside from mastering, it also gives us the kind of precision needed to remove background sounds that other tools miss.
While Audition has a lot of advanced functionality, it means that it can be difficult to onboard new users. This is why only a few people on my team use the software. There is also not a good way to collaborate on a project with others, aside from taking turns editing the file. I wish there was an Audition plugin with Descript that would give similar functionality as the Wipster.io Video Review Panel in Adobe Premiere to sync files and comments between applications.

Overall its great, even if you are a beginer or proseffional you can get amazing results. I think its the best of its kind for the price you pay and what you get for it. Perfect for audio editing.
One of the things I like the most about audition is that is very friendly for the user, everything is very intuituve in comparisson to similar programs. The pluggins included are great, the automatizations and audio editing are very easy to use. Amazing features to EQ, noise reduction, etc.
I would like more extensive content in the area of recording and audio editing, its sometimes dificult to get a professional result with the options you have there. Could add music creation tools.

Adobe Audition has been a great addition to my software suite to enhance the creative projects for our church.
Adobe Audition is a great addition to the Adobe Creative Suite. It integrates well with the other software and is very powerful and yet easy to use. Third party plug-ins work fantastically.
There are two main sections to the software. The track editor and the multitrack session. It would be nice to be able to do the editing right within the multitrack session.

Almost all of my daily audio and video works are finished using this software, and I find no other with better capabilities yet.
Easy to use. It needs almost no time for everyone to learn about how to use it.
Memory requirements is too much weighing for some low end computers.

The noise reduction tool is simply the best on the market. Multitrack mixing is also all at your fingertips is simple to do once you have learned the program. Finally, I love the waveform editing function in Audition. It's perfect for removing unwanted noises in a recording.
Although Audition is the best audio editor on the market in my opinion, the learning curve for the software is a bit steep. It takes some time to learn all of the features of the software. Mostly because it's so vast and customizable. However, Adobe has so many different ways to learn how to master it's programs.

Audition is a great addition to your suite of Adobe apps.
Audition is a stable DAW and the standard DSP is all good quality, particularly the time based processors.
It takes quite a while to get used to using and the structure isn't as intuitive as other audio sequencers. Also, it is only audio as full MIDI sequencing isn't yet supported.

The software's being packaged into Adobe Creative has made me feel safe in that I have a more intensive DAW, should I need it. If it were a little more accessible, perhaps I would have used it more.
I like that it's packaged within the Adobe Creative Cloud. For more serious audio tweaks, it would seem like it's quite capable. For most of the things I have to do for my work, Premiere Pro and Descript has been sufficient.
I don't like how the default shortcut keys are different from Premiere Pro, but that's really just my own preference. I'm sure they're customizeable. The distinction between editing audio files and editing multi-track files was also not immediately apparent. These dont make it a bad software, just one that had enough friction for me to avoid jumping in and learning it more.

I can't complain, it has helped me for many projects and it is quite useful, with time and learning you can get good projects to be published in social media or audio platforms.
It is a very useful software to cut audios or clean them in case they have a certain level of noise that is uncomfortable. I recommend it for audio work and to complement those who are working on audiovisual projects and want to improve the sound aspect. White noise removal works quite good.
Requires a powerful computer system, could improve the interface and the application time of the saved settings. Requires a lot of time to get used to.

I always say that a film or video maker can’t do a thing without the moving images’ Holy Trinity, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and of course Audition. Jumping from one software to another makes your content professional and beautiful.
What I like most about this product is its ability to work simultaneously on single and multiple tracks; this adds more to its genuine flexibility. I tried once five-channel audio and the results were amazing. Even mixing down the result on a stereo output from it felt deeply atmospheric.
I didn't find a thing to improve. The software is good as it is.

Love it. I use it all the time. It’s affordable and once I for the hang of it it was a cake walk. Highly recommended
This product is easy and accessible. You learn the building blocks on this and then after you’ve mastered it, you can take these skills and apply them to more in depth programs.
If you don’t know some of the lingo and try to do this blind, it’s definitely not an intuitive program that anyone can just jump on. It requires some knowledge passion for the craft.

Excellent overall and my go-to for anything more than simple editing (such as volume, trimming, or format conversion). Integrates with Premiere Pro so you can do extra editing (e.g. echo or noise reduction) from your timeline.
I've used Adobe Audition for over 10 years on multiple projects. There has never been something I wanted to do, that it couldn't do. Extremely mature software, great UI, and very stable.
Inevitably, its power comes at the cost of complexity. New users need hours to really figure out the basics. And for very simple jobs, simpler software is faster.

This software has made it possible for my media team in church to make ready all sound recordings Immediately after church meetings, three days in a week. We are able to generate different audio formats for all kind of devices especially for Radio programme and podcast.
Awesome! l kind of like the fact that I am able to capture, record, mix and master audio sounds excellently. At the same time I have access to over 10,000 sound effects and lots of plugins, this is fabulous.
I think the fact that it has lots of tools it can be difficult for a new user to easily grasp, but with patience and consistent use that can be overcome.

There’s no cons, I guess at the beginning it’s kind of difficult to understand but that’s because you are new! But you’ll get use to it! It’s easy to use!

Unless you are working on a very in depth project, such as recording an album or an audio drama, I'd recommend using a cheap or free program like Audacity. The vast VAST majority of audio editing I've needed to do can be done in other, more intuitive programs.
Adobe Audition features a large amount of tools and options to make your audio sound better. If you know what you're doing, you can do some really cool things with this program. Exporting audio clips from Premier into Audition for further editing works very well.
Pretty much everything about Audition feels clunky. I always feel like I could be doing this quicker in another program, like Audacity or even Adobe Premier.

Adobe audition is a valuable software for any audio engineer or recording artist or for someone who does podcasts for youtube. I highly recommend this software.
Very user friendly, most DAW stations are cumbersome and have a higher learning curve and are hard to see because either buttons are too small or everything is hidden. The stock plugins are amazing, love the dynamic range and compression plugin
Not being able to insert another mono track to make stereo L and R

Remains the best software which we use daily for our audio polishing tasks.
By far the most easy to use tool for audio editing, even for beginners!
You have to be careful with some of the features, you may record your voiceover on top of audios that weren't selected!

I do some multimedia projects and some video editing as part of my functions. From time to time I requiere to edit recordings or edit music and sound fx for our animations.
As a non audio specialist, Audition gave me the chance to successfully record and editing my own audio files. Created sound folly for video and multichannel mixing, without make it too complex.
Previous versions just kicks you in the heat of things with a thousand of buttons and whistles to hit without a clear path of where to going. So many times you had to try and error your way. (Of course speaking as a non sound tech guy). Some kind of introductory tutorial or explanation of the tools would be awesome (I saw they make that on the last update) but before that it was something that is was lacking.
