Pros

Being able to interface with Amilia from so many aspects, we know that they are a great choice for businesses who need online registration. Great company, great people.
Amilia is a great platform with tons of features. There was a learning curve when adopting the platform, however the on-boarding and support team were super pleasant to work with (and still are).
I like the ability to integrate the store via iFrame, as well as their customer service. Their help staff are all great.

Pros

They really like the ease of paying invoices online too. I also like the ability to have more than one window open while working in Novi, so easy to copy and paste from one page to another.
Besides getting used to different terminology and workflow, I've found the help staff to be very responsive and helpful. SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in particular have been amazing.
We had used several other AMS platforms and since we went with NOVI (we were an early adapter), we have been very happy. They continue to improve and fine tune their processes.

Cons

Try EventBrite, Attendify, even a WordPress plug-in. Avoid Amilia at all costs, unless you are willing to anger and lose your user base.
The inability to change tax rates (native status card holders) makes billing for those customers difficult as well as ensuring I calculate our HST information when doing the books.
It was not catered to my business type specifically. It was hard to explain to customer service exactly what we did, as they did not understand our business type.

Cons

I have to admit to you that I am of an age to have grown to be a very skeptical person.
The only complaint I would have is the initial cost, but over time It will pay for its self. You pay the first year upfront and a hefty onboarding fee.
Until you know the words and terms that Novi uses its hit or miss.
