I loved how easy Animoto was to use and I really enjoyed their music selection. They offered music for just about any occasion to go with the slideshows that you make.

There really isn't anything that I didn't like about using Animoto. If anything, I wish the price was a little lower, but if you use it a lot, it's a great value for the money.

The results the generator produces after you pick and choose your music, photos and animations. The site will provide a preview in the style you pick and if you are curious about other styles you can swap them before production.

That is it not totally free. The company provides a free trial but there is a watermark that overlays the video after production.

No pros - average product thats over priced.

The product itself was very average and added little versus other products. We stopped using it two months in. However the main issue was we turned the auto-renew off and 10 months later it auto-renewed. There was also no notification before the charge or after the payment that we were to pay - which contravenes Australian consumer law. They refused a refund as per their terms despite being against the law.

The best thing about Animoto is the ease of use for anyone, not just video editors, to create professional-looking videos. Easy-to-use means that you'll create more content in less time which is half the battle in content creation.

There are limitations to what can be customized in this video software, but it still covers all the basics pretty well.

Easy to use when it actually works. Lots of templates and easy options to create a quick video.

Over the years I have noticed this software is clunky and just does not work some times, doing the basic functions it is suppose to do. You can never reach customer service. I had an issue a while back I must have sent 10 emails about and never received a communication back from them, and they offer no phone support I am looking for new software to use

Overlay titles on a video. Add a music track (but now ability to add multiple tracks back-to-back if the video is too long). Seemingly simple to use.

Video sections with different titles must be in separate files. No way of just overlaying different titles at different points in the video. A serious flaw of this product.I have used this product on and off over a couple of years. There seems to have been very little in terms of new features added. The price is lower now compared to before which tells me that they are not developing the product much.

It is hard to mess up. Drag and drop and you can have a nice-looking video published in well under an hour. The copyright-free music is already there, nice options for styles. The addition of Getty images and video is very nice.

It is not super customizable. The text has to go in one of the predetermined places. That's great for continuity throughout the video, but sometimes you might want the text to move just a smidge so it doesn't cover something. It would also be nice to bulk edit the different frames. And processing the video before you can preview it sometimes feels tedious - but that's not enough of a reason to not use the software.

I love how this software is a great tool to showcase photos and videos. Also I love the social media side of it too. The music library is awesome too.

I hope the software keeps growing and adding new features and new options for use to use. I really enjoy it and don't want to keep using the same shows so thanks for always making it better for the user.

The most liked part of this application is that you can easily create animation for your social media post creation within a few touches​.

I mostly use this Animoto application a lot, so for me, I do feel the style limitation is reaching ​a low level for me to choose from.

Animoto makes the process of building amazing presentation and videos easy. We create a lot of videos for our social media campaigns and with the help of animoto the process is super simple and fast. Lots of fonts, music/soundtracks, colors, styling etc are the major points that keeps us on the platform.

No cons as such, but they put a very big watermark even during the trail period. Apart from that i just love this product.

The amount of flexibility and cusomtisation Animoto offers make it a very good service to adapt to your video needs.

I feel the pricing is slightly wrong for the service. The first package only allows 720p exports and I do feel that 1080p is just a standard that should be included across the board these days. With that being said each tier does offer more and more content options.

Videos made through Animoto look great. Their templates look professional and clean and are super easy and quick to customize. Learning how to create videos through their website was quick and painless, and they are great for posting on social media.

After awhile, Animoto videos begin to look the same. While they do offer a variety of templates, they are all very similar videos with images, clips, and text. While their system is easy to use, it may not allow for as much customization and creativity as people are looking for.

I like to think of Animoto as a “fun” presentation platform. Their software makes if super easy to create great looking videos. Because it is cloud based, I found it super easy to start on my laptop and pick up on my iPad.

While Animoto provides plenty of unique themes, all the finished product ends up looking kind of the same. Everything look great, but unlike a slideshow there is no granular control over transitions and small details.

Hands down, the best way to make professional looking videos, with little time to poor into creating them.

When it comes to customizable videos, outside of the templates and computer generated layouts, it's very difficult to customize your layout, other than order of sections.

This app is great for making quick video collages for posts. I love how easy it is to put different pictures together and pair with music.

Once the video was made, I had a hard time editing and moving things around. I had to start over from scratch.

We used Animoto to create basic videos for marketing campaigns. It's easy to use and include a number of live stock videos to use which makes for a great visual presentation.

There isn't much complexity with the product. Once the stock videos have been used, it seems that the well runs dry so to speak.

It is really easy to drag and drop content into the software, and manipulate it within Animoto. I like being able to cut clips, and pick music to make the perfect training video. Animoto also provides a lot of template options, that are really easy to use and always look nice! Videos in Animoto are easy to download and share with employees within a learning management system, on workplace, and by link!

I was disappointed when the ability to voice over within Animoto became no longer available. It was nice to be able to record in Animoto!

Easy drag-drop and play! We use this from time to time to make informational content, video installation, and drip marketing materials for customers. Hundreds of templates to choose from, applicable to almost every platform we use.

Can be time-consuming if you don't have edited material to upload into this software, blocking out sound adding audio, etc.

The creators of Animoto clearly knew what photographers were looking for in a slideshow software. The mobile app and ease of use on the go was convenient and applicable to most photographers making general sales.

It seems this software was just shy of one major important feature in every aspect. It never seemed to be available when needed either. The cost was a little high as well.

I am a professional editor and producer and sometimes all I really need is something quick and easy. Work, school, or neighborhood party slideshows look amazing. The options, video and music library make for some original looking work.

Sometimes I feel it limits what I can do with the videos - but it's easy for a reason. Options are limited to keep it simple.

It makes it very easy to stitch your photos into beautiful pieces of memories (as videos), which can be savoured for the years ahead. The output is just fabulous. I love using it for vacation photos

The free software does not let you download high quality video, but that is fair, given the efforts they must have put in the system making
