I've used many different video creation tools and Animoto's is quite unique because it allows you to use real stock footage!

It is a bit simple in its devices and after a few videos, it's difficult to find new footage to use!

Animoto is easy to use with a wide variety of template . The embed option makes it so you can use videos in a wide variety of venues.

I have not used the voice over feature..

It is easy to make your own videos and add clip art or even music in the background!

Sometimes the options are limited for the free part. Some templates are only accessible if you purchase a subscription.

One of the best, if not the best, for adding text to video

I'm not thrilled at the high price and I struggle with getting the timing of video/text/music right

It's easy to get started and learn Animoto and the built-in templates look very modern and clean. There are also multiple video sizes, including square videos for Instagram, which some competitors lack. There are also lots of customization and editing features available.

There aren't actually any animated scenes / templates. The templates are also pretty limited (only around 12 on the free plan.)

- you can make unlimited videos per month - you can export your videos in 1080p quality - you have a lot of options to edit your video and templates - if you pay per year, its quite cheap

- You only have access to a stock image and videos base if you are creating Animoto Memories videos. If you are creating Animoto Marketing you dont. That's a big NO! - you have a few of templates, but some others softwares have a lot more. - You only have 30 types of fonts.

The music is somewhat limited

It was free and easy to sign up for Animoto. They have improved their variety of video templates that are pre-made, so that's nice. If you're just getting into video making for marketing reasons, you may want to go with something more professional. But it's perfect for family projects.

The biggest con was that at first their selection of music and templates was only so-so, and I think when I signed up for the free trial I couldn't access all of the nicer templates, so I didn't get a great feel.

I like the ease of use with uploading videos and photos. The editing feature helps to make a nice finished project.

It limits the amount of time you are allowed to use for creating free projects.

Animoto is a very easy tool to edit your video. It's best for those who don't have any video editing experience. They have great collections of music in the library, templates, stock library, etc. It comes at a very cheap price, I really liked their pricing plan. I used it for creating videos for my company and it was a great experience.

I think they should add a few more features like animation, motion graphics, etc.

It is very easy to use. I have even taught my grade 3 students to use it. It is adaptable to different ideas and can be shared on all sorts of platforms

It's great that this program is so simple to use. You simply provide what you want it to say, and the images-and you can use all types of guides to add flare to your video.

It would be great if this program had more options for customization. Also, the music options can be pretty generic.

Animoto has been very helpful and easy to use to make high quality looking videos. It is an extremely user friendly software with various editing options. Videos look amazing!

The software is very easy to use and it provides a lot of customization options, but I wish it would have more sound options to accommodate and remove background noise.

Some of the templates are a pain, and it's a little expensive

they optimize their templates & layout to reflect what works & doesn't based on research & data - the drag & drop interface makes editing the layout very easy. Also love the premade transitions & templates.

There could be more sales related templates for B2C and square option for slideshow - also could use a few more options for transitions, but easily see them building more options over time.

When it came time to make small videos quickly for upcoming events or announcements, Animoto was a simple program that allowed us to do just that.

Forced to pay a yearly subscription. Difficult to use. No tutorials. No refund or partial charge when dissatisfied with service. Poor customer service. Would not respond back after I confronted them over fees.

Easy to use and on the face of it you can produce some impactful social media videos in quicktime without the need for a high level of skill.

Rather basic when compared to other online tools I am using now. The price is also quite expensive in the grand scheme of things.

Animoto has creat quality content that you can create yourself and I also love the fact that it got some free site.

I really dont have any one can try it and compare it with others.
