Pros

From help setting up forms to being able to get advice on how to get a form to do what I want they have always been a call away and happy to help.
Fantastic paperless solution with loads of great features and unprecedented customer service.
Dealing with a UK Company is superb as we can make contact and get an immediate reply. Its certainly more affordable than I was expecting for something totally bespoke to your company.

Pros

Smart-Trial then also gives you the possibility to integrate your own processes and products with it through their API, that is absolutely awesome and was very important for our trial.
Excellent customer support, the SMART-TRIAL team is always available, happy to help and eager to constantly improve their product in response to your feedback.
Fantastic piece of software which has made the data collection part of my study a seamless process. I would highly recommend.

Cons

We were using paper based forms, prone to error and misinterpretation.
Whatever is missing, and it won't be a lot, will be addressed so patience is key.
Still working through the process, but not found anything I don't like yet.

Cons

Our users complain that its long and difficult to register and use the system, but we couldn't identify the specific problem. Sometimes it takes many steps to define something.
The lack of basic eCRF functionalities such as, alerts and logical checks. A bit awkward when navigating, cannot not go back and forth very easily.
The software was a bit slow, so moving from one screen to the next took time and seem to have a lag.
