I love Elementor Pro

Reviewed 4 years ago

When I started building websites I realized the themes would look terrible whenever I changed ANYTHING around them and that I needed to learn code (which was not going to happen). I looked for solutions and eventually learned about Elementor (and other builders). Elementor Pro has proven to be the more stable and flexible builder for me, and I can always trust it will deliver on my ideas!

Pros

Full of features and plugins that make it even more awesome. I like how it helps me build clean, beautiful looking pages and blog posts in really, minutes! Although some practice and skill are required to make the most out of it, even the not so experienced can take full advantage of it to create a good looking, fully functional website without having to know code.

Cons

Not always predictable or easy to figure out what the problem is about when I reach a bump in the road. But there's always support, which does a great job. Making the forms work are always a challenge for me.

Elementor Makes Wordpress Even Easier

Reviewed 2 years ago

It's very easy to develop a website with Elementor. Not as easy as with, say, Squarespace, as you still need to keep it updated, build it on a Wordpress core, etc. But Squarespace's monthly fee is just a deal killer for many of my clients, most of whom prefer a single-payment design solution.

Pros

There are quite a few website builder plugins for Wordpress, but the main reason why I prefer Elementor is the templates. They have some amazing templates, including full-page templates which allow you to completely bypass your Wordpress theme original look. We could have only dreamed of stuff like this in the past.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy sometimes, and the competition is really stiff in the Wordpress Builder space.

The best support response from a software provider I have ever had!

Reviewed a year ago

I find it easy to use, the experience feels quite quick, smooth and satisfying. Installation is easy and there is a good selection of elements. The main downside would be that the code of the site will be fairly cumbersome with all the features and layers of code.

Pros

The support response was brilliant. When I asked for help with settings on an element the support I received was a custom made video, using my website and showing me exactly how to achieve what I wanted. It also included some other helpful info and not too much unnecessary information.

Cons

Some features are not all that intuitive for example a 'toggle' element requires you to click on the name of the toggle to edit the content and this is not obvious for my client.

Vendor response

Thank you so much for your feedback Tasmin! We always thrive to provide you with the best customer experience we can!

A great tool for Wordpress bloggers

Reviewed 2 years ago

Elementor has helped me to achieve my goals, I wouldn't have finished my blog without it. If you are looking for an easy tool to start with your blog this is the right one.

Pros

I have used Elementor since I started my blog, this tool has made my life easier because it integrates really well with all WordPress blogs. If you are looking for an easy tool to build your blog or start it, Elementor will allow you to set everything you need, from texts, images to integrations to make contact forms.

Cons

This plugin can be unpredictable sometimes like many plugins out there, but if there's any problem you may have to work it out by yourself or wait a long time before someone responds to you. However, there are plenty of youtube videos out there that can easily help you out with your problem.

The Greatest Page Builder on WordPress

Reviewed 4 years ago

Elementor literally shaves hours of work off design projects on WordPress. Hats off to the developers!

Pros

Elementor is one of the greatest plugins to ever grace the WordPress plugin scene. It is an immensely powerful page builder tool and saves me hours of work on websites for clients. Abilities such as undo, templates, copy and paste, and the responsive design mode, make this the biggest time-saving tool out of all the digital tools I use.

Cons

Occasionally seems to have issues with HTTP to HTTPS migrations, there is a URL-replacer tool in Elementor for this though

The best full-featured page builder for Wordpress.

Reviewed 4 years ago

Elementor is still the best balance of quality + features. There are a lot of compatible themes and plugins and a lot of 3rd party support. Really only WPBakery and Divi compare in terms of community. It's very easy to look up example videos of how to do things on Youtube or by reading blogs.

Pros

It's very easy to use and works well with other Wordpress themes, including those that aren't specifically made to be compatible with Elementor. For example, I use Elementor with themes by StudioPress and it works great. When you disable Elementor for whatever reason, you're left with a functioning website, not a bunch of brackets and crazy mark up like you get with other popular page builders like Divi and WPBakery.

Cons

Elementor isn't great if you're trying to have really clean code. In all fairness, none of the page builders on the market do. Elementor uses a lot of div elements nested in one another which can slow down a website.

Build a website simply and easy.

Reviewed 3 months ago

This is the plugin I use to design all my websites on WordPress. It makes my life quite easy, simple to use. With Elementor, I can design websites in record time. It's the best tool to quickly design an elegant website on WordPress

Pros

This is the builder I use on WordPress. I don't know if you can use it on other platforms, or independently, but it would be cool. It's great, easy to use, pretty light, and it's compatible with many themes. You don't need to know anything about website coding (although it's recommended), with its drag-and-drop technique, you can build your entire website, including the menu and header, and footer. With the pro version, you get what you pay for. But it's also possible to test it in the free version lol. I strongly recommend you create your websites on WordPress

Cons

For a WordPress plugin, I find it quite powerful and complete. I nothing to say for the moment

The Ultimate Page Builder

Reviewed 3 years ago

Elementor has not only changed page building for the better, it has created the opportunity for designers to craft incredible website experiences. As an easy-to-use and powerful tool, I would recommend Elementor to any WordPress user that wants more control over their websites.

Pros

Elementor makes it easy to build pages in WordPress. In fact, I'm not sure how I functioned before this tool was around. It gives me so much confidence to use a drag-and-drop builder that doesn't simultaneously destroy the backend of my website. I also love that Elementor essentially unlocks the ability to create your own WordPress templates. There are tons of great resources available for getting the most from the program.

Cons

Although Elementor is pretty easy to use right out of the box, there is still a learning curve to get the most from it. Additionally, you can only get so far with the free version of Elementor.

Very good plugin to build websites on wordpress

Reviewed 4 years ago

Building websites with only wordpress consumes lot of time here is where elementor scores points, easy and one can build a website without just sticking to the theme.

Pros

Building sites on wordpress with out any other plugin is a tough thing to do, Elementor does the job efforts lessly, before I started using elementor I had to search for a theme which suites my idea and finding a theme which you need a difficult task has there are thousands of themes in the market and not all themes support the design you wanted to build. Elementor gives you the freedom to build the website as you like and even more better than the themes present in the market. The learning curve is very less it saves lot of time in building the website. There are other add-on's which gives advanced designs with grids and other modules so that you can build a proper website without compromising on the features.

Cons

As of now I don't find any cons for this plugin I wouldn't find anything this plugin fuilfills everything a websites needs

Best Page Builder

Reviewed 4 years ago

Elementor is the best page builder for now with the features it has in both free and paid versions. It's tech support is highly rated for the timely manners issues are being handled and responded to. As a web developer, I will highly recommend it for any client.

Pros

Elementor happens to be the best web page builder I have ever work with. It has a free lifetime version. It is easy to install and setup. It has a 24/7 customer support system. Easy to use by newbies with no experience due to it's drag and drop feature. It loads web page fast. It has awesome fee templates

Cons

Every good thing also has it's disadvantages and Elementor has its flaws too. Most of the features are in the paid version. The paid version is too costly.

Worth it

Reviewed 2 years ago

It took some time to get used to it and learn all the little tricks, but once I did, I can now make really advanced edits in a short period of time. Love how easy it is to use.

Pros

The personal plan is a fantastic value for the money. I have it for myself and encourage all of my clients to use it. It makes designing Wordpress sites so much easier and gives you TONs of creative control!

Cons

One element I wish it had was an interactive event calendar, but it's possible that something like that just isn't included on the personal subscription that I have.

Intuitive and Easy - IF you can get it to work.

Reviewed 3 years ago

I was recommended Elementor for its ease of use when building a Wordpress website. The user interface is easy to navigate when you could get it to actually load. It would time out my server constantly and required a heavy load to get it to work properly. This can be a great application for people who need to hand off a website to a client for them to use and change if they wish but to get it to work might be more problematic for the administrator/website builder than they want to deal with.

Pros

Elementor is a great WYSIWYG plugin for building Wordpress sites quickly and easily. You can literally drag and drop your content in a page easily and manipulate it within a certain set of parameters. It's great for first time users who might work best visually and not understand how some themes work in Wordpress. It's straight forward and not complicated to use.

Cons

I was recommended Elementor for ease of use and being a lightweight builder. It was slow. Painfully slow and broke more times than I care to remember. After much manipulation of my site, I managed to get the plugin to function properly enough for the end client to do what they wanted or needed. I can see this being a problem for someone just jumping into building a website that might not know how to manipulate certain core files in WordPress and they might take a chance at crashing their whole site. As far as the visual drag and drop aspect of it, perfect. For an administrative implementation its a pain and caused more problems than it was worth for me.

The Best WP Page Builder We've Used

Reviewed 3 years ago

We started with a free version of Elementor and found that for our agency the price of an unlimited website subscription was worth it to bring these extra features to our clients. It helps us build beautiful websites more efficiently and that's always a win! They also have a good selection of third-party add-ons! The popularity of Elementor also helps because if you're experiencing a problem, you can likely Google and find a solution before needing to reach out to support!

Pros

Our agency currently holds a pro subscription for all websites that we build and we absolutely love it. It makes creating and editing a beautiful Wordpress website so much easier. Plus, there's good documentation so we can pass this along to clients if they want to edit their own website. I honestly wouldn't build a WP website without it!

Cons

I would say there is definitely a learning curve if you're new to Wordpress or new to the back end of a website. We normally do quick tutorials with new clients to teach them how to use it. We love Elementor because it is so robust with plenty of options. So a bit of a learning curve to new users is worth it!

Elementor Is the Easiest Website Builder For Me

Reviewed a year ago

This software is one of the best . It allowed me to create fancy looking websites . It's very user friendly . Youtube offers a lot of tutorials and so far has all the answers to all the questions i had . It works with word press . The drag and drop feature is amazing . I highly recommend this software

Pros

Elementor has very helpful features and functionality that can help anyone to design a custom web page. There are tons of tutorials on youtube . There are pre made templates that you can use and i was blown away with the end result . It's definitely user friendly and is well built in a way that I never experienced any glitches while using it . The best thing about it is that the templates are free . The drag and drop feature is awesome . It has a ton of integrations with third-party tools and makes the overall process of creating websites a breeze.

Cons

I don't have a lot of negative feedback because i did enjoy the software however the software can get pricey . If you want access to more features you have to pay a monthly fee . I would prefer a lifetime license. It also affect the website's ability to load fast . It would be nice if they can do more about that

Simple Sites made Easier with Elementor

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, I love it. I could not recommend another page builder before Elementor and I have tried my fair share of tools out there. I love love love it!

Pros

Elementor integrates quickly and easily with most any WordPress theme, and recently they launched their Hello Theme which integrates seamlessly and fully with Elementor site builder tools. The inclusion of multiple widgets from other plugins like Gravity Forms and being able to build out template pages makes Elementor a win-win for quick and seamless website design and development. Creation of Global assets and blocks has never been easier. Elementor also often adds updates and features on a monthly basis which makes the value for the tool so much higher. I recommend Elementor 100%!

Cons

Some of the tools can be cumbersome to learn and support or documentation isn't always geared to the thing I am trying to do. There is a good community to help, but I feel like tutorials could be a bit better. Sometimes updates can break sites, so better QC on updates need to be considered.

Elementor for the win!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Using Elementor to build a site helps my clients. The builder is very user friendly and once the site is set up they can make a lot of their edits themselves.

Pros

Elementor is a great way to quickly set up a website for a client. It has a lot of the bells and whistles so you don't need to add as many plugins.

Cons

Sometimes they release an update to the software a bit too early. I have learned to wait before updating because sometimes there are security issues. The good news is that they patch them and notify you quickly.

The last theme you will ever need

Reviewed 3 years ago

It's been great from the start! It is easy to pick up and learn if you are transitioning from another platform. Supports all major features and functionality you would expect from an enterprise theme. The template library is overflowing with incredible templates.

Pros

We needed to migrate and rebuild a single page web application while finding a new platform that would provide a rich content management experience. Elementor proved to be a perfect fit for us. We were having a difficult time finding the right theme that could provide that rich content-authoring experience but also be 100% flexible to support the customizations we planned to implement. Elementor will allow you to customize your site in any way you can imagine without having to compromise on the content editor experience.

Cons

The only thing i can say i wish was a little different was the licensing arrangement. I would prefer to pay a little more for a lifetime/unlimited domain license.
