I love how easy and inexpensive it is to advertise on Facebook. I like that my company can have a page and it’s easy for customers to reach out.
I like Messenger and use it more than I use the texting feature on my phone. I like that you can send money instantly with Messenger, that's a big help.

Fell out of love with Facebook even before the latest scandal

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I'm trying to find some pros to say about Facebook, but as I was writing this, every time I mentioned what could be a positive, there was more negative to the positive than there was positive to the positive. I used to love Facebook and check it daily and gleefully update with pithy commentary on my life ... until I realized that I don't necessarily want everyone in the world to know every single...

Cons

Everything. Corporate backstabbing of its users by selling for a massive profit the information of its users. Obviously. I mean, everybody knows about that. And they all probably know too that it sure took a really long time for Zuckerberg to come out of hiding and face the music. And wow look at that shooting star coming down. No wait, that's FB's stock price. As I mentioned above, FB is too...

Facebook, A perfect Place for Business

Reviewed 3 years ago

I'm not using Facebook only for my clients. I also have four Facebook pages and I'm generating good revenue with the collaboration of different brands. Either you are a freelancer or a youtube or a social media marketer. Facebook will always remain the best place for you. If we talk about my overall experience on a Facebook business level, then I have no word to explain my whole experience at all. I have found Facebook a major part of every digital and social media marketer. You can achieve high goals at a very low cost. The pricing of Facebook is oo affordable and can be afforded by any person. Now if you are thinking of social media marketing or you have some plans to be a digital marketer, then believe me Facebook is going to perfect place for you.

Pros

There are a lot of features that I liked too much on Facebook but I would like to mention below some of them for your happiness. I have liked the page permission too much. When I use to work on a Facebook page of my client, I always need to have a look at that page. And I can easily access my client's Facebook page through "business.facebook.com" under the pages section. It is not restricted to have...

Cons

Well, I have used a lot of software. I always looked forward to having some improvement from the software team. But Facebook is different at all. I'm working as social media marketer for a long time and I never realize that Facebook needs to be improved anywhere. Even whenever I have performed a job for my client, I always got a 4 to 5 stars rating. Every client always appreciated me for having good...

Facebook for Businesses has always been great, but it's declining for personal use.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I managed social media as a marketing intern in 2016 and I loved using Facebook for longer posts and feature stories. Since there's no character limit like there is on twitter, Facebook is my go-to when we have a little more information to share than usual. I also love the event page feature on Facebook. We had a large annual event and every time we used a Facebook event page to promote it, there was a line outside the venue because we were over capacity. There's no other large social media platform that has a feature comparable to Facebook's event pages. I also love it that Facebook provides analytical reports for free. On other social media platforms like Twitter, we had to purchase an outside integration like Hootsuite to be able to get monthly reports.

Cons

Most of the cons of Facebook show themselves when you log in for personal use. The app has gradually become very "junky" with cheap/scam-looking advertisements and the new interface has way too much going on along the sides of your timeline so, it's hard to focus. The latest Facebook update that bothered me was the change in notifications. Instead of only receiving notifications when someone tags me...

Know whats Trending and More with the Facebook App

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall the Facebook app has been a pleasure to use and ha become more and more productive with each of its supplied updates. The business has grown more with the use of app, plus has saved much valuable time and money that was able to be used in other much needed areas. Folks dont let the scare of battery drain or the hype from social media turn you away from the Facebook app, as its a very useful for todays business world.

Pros

Keep yourself and your business up to date on the latest Trends and Information quite easily with the Facebook app. It is also one of the main sources we use to showcase our craftsmanship and search for future customers. The process for doing this is easily accomplished by myself or another employee through Facebooks page setup wizard, thus saving money. The app is widely used everyday by the Young,...

Cons

If your connected to a constant AC powered device such as a desktop or laptop computer this issue will not be a factor, although if your main source of access is battery powered such as a mobile phone it could be the kicker. The Facebook app often puts a strain on your battery even during the times its not in use. The up to date mobile devices seem to handle the power needed in background running but...

Facebook Review

Reviewed 3 years ago

I very satisfied with Facebook and the community. However, I wish less unrelated ads would make the experience way more better.

Pros

Facebook can prove that the we can always keep in touch with our friends and family whenever and wherever we are. We are always being able to communicate with our loved once and check in features also helps to inform our beloved ones on where we are. We are also able to share our live events to everyone. Moreover in this pandemic era, we are also able to to get tot know more knowledgeable information on the current situation and latest news from there. Small business owners and freelancers like me are able to promote ourselves with the market place option, pages and advertisement.

Cons

Besides having all the goods, Facebook can also be a significant time sink with no real value. A quick check of the site can turn into half an hour of scanning photos, videos and company brand pages that we don't really have any interest in. Consider how productively we could use the time spent on elsewhere. Facebook has started adjusting adds within videos. We would be enjoying a perfectly funny video and out of sudden they'll be an ad comes on, no matter ads are small to medium in duration, but that interrupts a perfectly happy user. Besides, this as a Facebook has became a part of our daily lives, more and more cyberbullying cases are also being filed and we are able to see it. ( Unwanted and irrelevant issues are being hyped by people without thinking about other persons emotion ).

Meta for Business is an Epic Fail

Reviewed 2 years ago

This is an epic fail in my humble opinion. From the moment Facebook purchased Instagram and then began to integrate the products, my job has gotten harder and harder as I adapt to the latest "features". Customer support consists of long waits for responses and blame for problems being pushed back onto the customer. I am eagerly awaiting a new product from another vendor with which I can replace this piece of junk.

Pros

I cannot say I like any features. This product is a huge waste of time and has cost me hours and hours of time trying to sort out conceptually simple issues.

Cons

As Meta transitions the equivalent functionality out of Facebook and Instagram and into Meta Business, they have made it virtually impossible to perform some basic functions such as scheduling an event without having to go through extra steps and iterations.

Tried and True!

Reviewed 3 years ago

My overall experience with Facebook has mostly been positive and I do recommend it frequently. I feel that it is still the best way to reach the most people, with a single click. It is also a great way to see what your competitors are doing and the search engine could not be easier to use.

Pros

Facebook is probably the most user-friendly social media app in existence. I think that is why it appeals to the older generations, for sure. It could not be any simpler to create a Facebook for a business or personal use. It is a very quick and easy way to get information out to new and existing customers. It also allows for multiple ways a customer can communicate with you, including a personal message...

Cons

My biggest complaint is that customer service is almost non-existent. There is no 1-800 to call for help, no "contact us" for questions, etc. which can be a problem. You often have to rely on other users to troubleshoot issues or just "muddle" through them yourself. I'm sure that is how they keep cost down, in part, but it can be super frustrating. It is too bad that they don't offer a paid version, that offers the additional element of customer support. I do feel some busineses would be willing to pay that. Overall, I think every business should be using Facebook, small or large. Even if your Target audience is a young crowd, I think it would be a mistake to at least not include it in your social media arsenal!

Business Savior for Many!

Reviewed 4 years ago

Overall, Facebook and I have a bittersweet romance. Despite the tricky ads manager and occasional unreasonable ad errors, businesses thrive competently during the pandemics. It has brought people closer with one another and able to somehow allow people to survive through the financial crisis due to the lockdowns. However, one's business should not be over dependent on FB itself and it is always better to seek other alternative platforms. FB might have reigned for more than a decade & still remain the apex of humans' connection. But the digital world is very dynamic (look at Yahoo, Myspace, Friendster). It is always good too keep an eye on the next upcoming tech company. As the old saying goes, never put all your eggs in one basket.

Pros

Having been a frequent FB user since 2008, I have definitely witnessed the great features transformation throughout the decade. There are many features that are applaudable and have been seen to have continual improvements. 1. The fact that the updated FB has a setting for "Dark Mode", as a heavy user who is taking the importance of healthy vision, this feature comes out as caring and thoughtful...

Cons

As much as FB has become part of our lives, there are a few things that can rattle someone's cage. 1. Ads Manager Necessary useful & a must to learn to get your business running. But a particular error arose & your ad account got blocked, and you had no clue what went wrong. And when you did appeal for assistance, it would take them a hundred years to reply. Making you feeling wretched and forlorn...

Fairly affordable platform to design and run ads for small businesses!

Reviewed 4 years ago

My overall experience has been great. It has made me self-sufficient to run my small business and sell my products online with much ease. It is not fancy but does exactly the job I'm looking for it to do. I also like the transparency and visibility into everything and there are no hidden fees and such. I can also have role-based permissions as I wish as an admin. They also have great analytics tools that gives you quick insights of how your business performing which is always useful for you to make informed decisions about your actions.

Pros

The first thing that comes to mind is the self-serve functionality. Right from using the Facebook Marketplace and Facebook for Business, it was easy to understand what the software does and they had a step-by-step virtual tour of the software which I also enjoyed. I did not have to talk to anyone throughout the process. Primarily, I am a seller on the Facebook Marketplace and I sell a variety of products. It was easy to setup my seller profile and preferences with verification and identity checks where needed. I also use Facebook to generate ads for some of my products and run campaigns. I always thought I would need help doing these kinds of things but Facebook showed me that I can do it myself and made me feel confident about it as well.

Cons

The user experience is a little confusing. There were too many steps in the process and no option to skip any steps. So you have to have all the information handy prior to starting the process and if not, start it all over again which was pretty frustrating. There were a lot of instances where I felt Facebook was pushing their products on me and persuading me to add them on as I was trying to set my profile up.

Facebook user genuine review for the product

Reviewed 4 years ago

Facebook solves many business problems such as easy way to upload the personal files and store that data in the application. The best problems it solves in you can also upload the data and this feature really helps many people who use this product. There are many benefits which I have realized such as free access of Facebook to a certain limit to users. This benefit really help the customers who cannot pay for the software. Moreover, you can also use this speed software and connect with people all around the world. You can reach as many people as possible and can share posts and can see these data over the day

Pros

There are many features which are most impactful such as free connections and speed upload during the photo or video sharing and synchronization of files with various platforms. The speed of upload and download is quite good and fast and that is the reason many people around the world use this software. Moreover, you can sync and upload the data with Android and ios and which makes the product very easy to use. Also, this is free software which every person uses for connect around the world. In addition to this, the integration is very easy with our existing business processes. You can easily integrate the product with multiple processes.

Cons

There are many features which I feel are missing such as very cheap product price with very fast recovery of data and photos. Moreover, the premium feature could be improved so that people will get much more benefits in the paid subscription and service. Furthermore, there are no aspects of the product which I feel is difficult to use. Any person with simple computer knowledge can easily use this product and use it daily. In addition to this, the integration is not difficult with our existing business processes. Anyone can easily integrate the software with multiple platforms in a business.

The best and cheapest way to market your business

Reviewed 2 years ago

I used Meta for business daily. It really is the hub of my social media marketing now – where I do my organic and paid marketing. It is still the cheapest place to run paid advertising for your business. It keeps improving each day and making it easier for business owners to run their marketing seamlessly. Especially the free content scheduler and planner, I love it!

Pros

I use Meta for business to market my own business as well as my clients’ businesses. From social media marketing (free) all the way to paid advertising. It is the only paid advertising I do for my business and clients. The free content scheduler for both Facebook and Instagram is life-changing. I save myself and my clients so much money. It can be a bit tricky to set up but there are plenty of tutorials to follow. I think that its way more simple to integrate now then a few years ag

Cons

It can be a bit glitchy at times. Especially the content scheduler.

Meta for Business has allowed us to invest in social media sites in order to distribute our ads and develop our client base, and the statistics and insights you provide allow us to learn from prior campaigns and plan properly for future efforts.

I had no problems or issues when using it because Meta for Business is incredibly user-friendly and helps me to do a lot.

Zero Business Ethics and Human Decency

Zero benefits. Tons of headaches. They actually gave my Instagram username which I paid a consultant to grow to 3000 and manage content to a pervert looking for sex with women. I probably have a defamation suit, too. But I'm sick of thinking of this disgustingly greedy company.

Meta for Business is NECESSARY for Business

Reviewed 5 months ago
Pros

Every business needs Meta for Business. Being able to schedule content, having your content calendar, viewing analytics, real-time chat and automated chat, and having both Facebook and Instagram is crucial. It's very easy to use, and it often has valuable recommendations, including active times for posting. It's perfect for marketers who work with multiple accounts because you can be an admin of an unlimited amount of accounts. It's free, and paid advertising is low-cost. The analytics alone would be worth paying (but you don't have to!). There are so many great features and functions - I could keep writing for hours.

Cons

There are not many cons with Meta for Business. On rare occasions, a post may fail to publish when it's scheduled—that can be very frustrating, so it's important to check to make sure it's published properly. You may have an issue with tagging as a user may not always come up but there's a workaround by typing in the profile URL. Meta for Instagram analytics is frequently inaccurate, so I highly recommend going directly to Instagram and manually pulling post analytics.

A Popular Social Media Platform

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, I've enjoyed using Facebook. It's a way to keep in touch with family, friends, and fans. I've been able to join multiple groups, even creating my own. Those groups have lead to a lot of new friendships that I value. I've been able to broaden my fan base and interact with new and old fans. As an author, that's important! Despite the drawbacks, it's still one of the most popular platforms (so far) and one I'll continue to use.

Pros

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms. It allows you to connect to family, friends, and possible fans or clients (depending on your business). You can browse the marketplace for items to purchase either locally or from small independent stores. It's very versatile and useful for growing a business or fan base. Or even to keep in touch with friends and family around the world. The use of the platform is simple and easy to use. There's not a large learning curve or a lot of confusion on how to use it, like with other similar platforms.

Cons

The ads aren't always the best. You don't always get what you're actually interested in. There is censorship, which does seem to be growing worse over the years. But as with any platform, you're going to have that. There are glitches and your newsfeed doesn't always show what you're wanting to see. But the more you interact with particular people, groups, and pages, the more you see from those particular people.

Meta for Business: Essential for Non-profits

Reviewed 2 years ago

Meta products are absolutely ESSENTIAL for marketing and branding. If, as a business or organization, you don't have a social media presence, you simply don't gain public interaction. Moreover, having a social media presence on an established platform like Meta's Facebook and Instagram gives you credibility.

Pros

It's free and easy!! Meta products like Facebook and Instagram allows small businesses and non-profits on tight budgets to have a presence online for free. Posting doesn't require technical knowledge like coding, and is not too time-consuming. Also, advertising on Meta is not cost prohibitive for small businesses and non-profits.

Cons

The constant changes! Because I am not particularly tech savvy, and as a business owner, I simply do not have time to try to learn platform changes. It's a bit frustrating that once I learn how to use changes to the Facebook platform, they get changed again. Consequently, I don't use Facebook as often or as efficiently as I used to because I simply don't have time to learn the new changes to the platform that are constantly being made.

Awesome for finding new customers

Reviewed 4 years ago

My overall experience with Facebook as a positive one, Facebook is a software an app that everyone uses, and I know it’s going to be around for a long time. Anyone who is anybody uses Facebook and it’s perfect for us because that’s where we get a lot of our customers from. They go on our page they see our work they call us for estimates and we go out and we get customers

Pros

What I like most about this software, is the ease of usage. I can very easily make a post and send it to the directive Audi and state is attended for. I am able to take pictures of the job and pictures of our process and share them with people does drawing in more customers, I am able to network and find other workers for jobs, I am also able to draw a new customers because they see the quality of work that we do. I’m also able to make a page for a company that way we’re also driving in traffic in that way as well. The ads on Facebook they’re not expensive at all and it helps us tremendously because we’re finding new customers in new workers, and new business that’s being drawn in every day.

Cons

The only kind that I see, is that sometimes it takes a while for certain post to reach a certain audience. And also sometimes different post can be flagged without so much as I am a valid reason and you have to kind of argue with Facebook so he can go over and look at the post so I can be reposted

Cons

low level of security-lots of fake accounts & activities going. -Overstated user conditions/ privacy policy -over reduces image quality( one thing I don't like personally) -ads campaigns can sometimes be just too exorbitant as compared to the ROI rates. -does not have a variety of display themes to choose from

It is a cheap platform, easily accessible and connects people across the world, and cancels all forms of geographical barriers. Regardless of the limitations, on the overall, it has made life and interaction across the globe as well as information sharing easy.

Pros

Facebook is a platform that is good for advertising goods and services. Anyone who is using this social networking site, and has one business or the other, can take advantage of the opportunity. The fact that the platform can be used absolutely free (depending on what you are doing with it) makes it very appealing. The reach is almost limitless as it breaks regional and geographical barriers. The possibility of making more money via the internet through Facebook is also available as it connects other people not only their friends and family to products on sale.

Cons

As good and useful as the opportunity created by Facebook might be, it has been known for issues like; addiction and loss of productivity particularly when used by younger ones. With the advent of fake news on social media, some people intentionally use Facebook to spread fake news. Identity theft, anti-social behaviors, cyber-bullying amongst others are experienced by some users at various points in time.

Facebook.. Where you find your lost friends..

Reviewed 3 years ago

Facebook and its Facebook Messenger give me the opportunity to contact and share files, pictures etc with my friends form my computer or smartphone with ease. It has also helped me get back in touch with a lot of friends with whom I haven't met in years and had no contact details about them.

Pros

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms. It give you the liberty to post and share with others almost anything whether its photos, videos, files, articles or something else. Its group feature is very useful especially for students, where admin can post all the course related material and all classfellows in the group can access that. Its biggest plus point is its algorithm, which suggest friends to you, where you find a lot of your old friends with whom you had no contact for years. Also with its messenger app you can make audio/ video calls to your Facebook friends and work well on low bandwidth.

Cons

It is very time consuming and shows a lot of advertisments. Also now days it is flooded with political posts where people usually end up abusing those who show dissent with their thoughts. Fake news and spreading of fake information has also became a big issue for facebook that it is trying to overcome.

Facebook often carries a handful of information on its users and there is no assurance for privacy or even protection of information. the app is a community like setup and this has made Facebook one of the top sites for cyber bullying and online bullies, Facebook is the fastest platform in spreading information and that can really harm a person in cases of wrong upload of information, its a great site but privacy, security and protection need to be worked on for proper customer service

Meta for business - Grow your audience

Reviewed 2 years ago

Facebook for business has made the campaigns more profitable as it not only provides me with ads on Facebook but also on Instagram, on top of that it allows me to manage multiple accounts in one place.

Pros

I like Meta for business because I can manage my company's campaigns so that they are more profitable and efficient and have better results. I also like it because with Meta for business I can create content posts, analyze my audience's metrics and thus get to know my clients. potential customers and thus be able to be more strategic and reach more people, Meta has great potential for online advertising since it is the platform with the most users in the world, its platform is very detailed and allows you to analyze all the information of your audience or potential customers, it is easy to segment a specific audience as it has many options to choose from, from age, gender, location, tastes, among others.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about Meta, only that over time it becomes more expensive.

Good, it is easy to use for day to day functions and the app is handy!

Pros

It is relatively easy to use, share between colleagues and monitor performance of posts. Combines instagram and facebook management for efficiency.

Cons

Some of the settings are harder to find or require visiting facebook directly to acess. The cost vs return on paid advertising has dropped over the past ten years.

Facebook is my main social media marketing solution, with the second largest user in the world in my

Reviewed 3 years ago

Facebook has been helping me grow my business and find the right business for me. plus Facebook ads that make me find the right target market.

Pros

Facebook users in my country are the second largest in the world, this is my target market for doing business. supported by an ad manager and the tutorial makes it easy for people to learn and apply it in the world of marketing. The right target audience budget helps me to design a marketing strategy for my business. The features are easy to understand, and with the Facebook page I can create many product niches to find the right product on the local network and for my market network overseas.

Cons

A large number of fake accounts or secondary accounts for fraud that are not filtered by Facebook makes me uncomfortable with the information that is easily shared and mostly misleading on Facebook. This causes sometimes there are fictitious purchases that cost me a lot for selling products using the cash on delivery method. but overall more purchases convert into sales which makes my profits increase and I am very helpful on Facebook with a large number of users.

Good social platform for connecting with friend and business

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

I really do think Facebook is the best platform for me to virtually connecting with my friend and also have use it for managing my small business page and using the advertisement platform to advertising my product to the market. The advertising cost is very affordable for small business like me as they has no minimum cost to start it.

Cons

When dealing with Facebook, you will need to be always careful with the user profile in here. There are too many fake profile in the platform as the process in creating a user profile in Facebook is easy and not much verification process are asked when creating the profile.
