Good but not great

Google forms is fun and easy to use. We don't really use it a lot with our customers and clients, but we do use it for collaboration within our team - making sure our internal atmosphere is where it should be.  It's free and it provides quick solutions and reporting on our internal team issues or agendas.

I would recommend for professional use, but for personal ones I rather use SurveyMonkey.

GForms - great and easy tool

I've used Google Forms for years and will continue to do so because of its reliability, ease of use, and feature set.

Everything you need (and nothing you don't) from a basic forms tool

I am on the executive board for my school's club tennis team and I use Google Forms about once a month to organize matches, socials, and volunteer events. The user interface is straight forward and you can mark certain questions as mandatory. I am very appreciative the software is free, though I would be willing to pay a subscription fee since it helps me be much more productive.

I don't use it anymore. I switched over to SurveyMonkey. There are not enough data analysis features. 

Good, but there's better

Overall, when you need to create and share a form, especially quickly, that everyone will know how to use and will think looks nice, Google Forms is the move.

Maybe not top of the line sophisticated but simple in a good way!

I liked Survey Monkey, never had a problem with it.
The only reason we switched from Survey Monkey to Google Forms is because Google Forms is free to educational entities.

Honestly, my experience with survey monkey has been very good.  They have mastered the art of surveys, and I've had great interactions with tech support!

Straightforward Feedback Application that has become the Default Standard in my Work

SurveyMonkey Audience has allowed my organization to reach a wider spread of survey participants. Instead of merely sending out a survey to people you already know (and if you are in a niche organization where there is a small group of core supporters this can lead to repetitive answers you already know), you can send the survey out to a wide audience, fenced in by gender, geography, income, or a variety of other more specific categories like time spent watching television or number of credit cards they have. That's pretty great! Be aware though, that with great data comes cost. If you are used to sending out a Google Form for free, be prepared that SurveyMonkey Audience will likely cost a few hundred bucks. Also, the longer the survey or the more specific your demographics, the more expensive it's going to be. Happy surveying!

Great but Pricey

Over all I would recommend this to users who are looking to create a 1 time survey or max of 3 because of the ease and functionality of it. Simple to use and User friendly.
