It's pretty good quality and it's easy to use and share to friends & family. If more people were on it, I'd love to spend more time on this app.

The higher rate you tried to stream at the more cpu it has to use and would often crash. Uploading videos after for people to watch proved very difficult and you are limited to 3GB.

The main thing that we do not like with Vimeo Livestream is that we have to import our images one by one. There is no drag and drop feature for multiple images etc.

A good option to Livestream your videos

Overall, we have really enjoyed Vimeo Livestream. We have been using since COVID began since we had to go to only livestream services for a while. It is an easy program to use and after trying several different ones we landed on Vimeo. The streaming software is great, and the pushing out to multiple venues works well.

Good service but pricey

Overall, Vimeo Livestream has been our go-to service since COVID began for making our church services available to those still at home. We have used the embed feature and posted to FB and YouTube to increase our audience as well.

In a world with lots of options, video became a primary choice for its ease of use, very practical features and reasonable pricing. I would recommend another user highly, it's helpful.

Very few complaints with this software, it is easy to use, easy to set up, and simple for an intern to do without much instruction. It can also be used on the road, which is vital.

My overall experience with LiveStream has been extremely good.  Once in a while when I am not able to attend church, so I can log on follow along.  Again, it keeps you updated and in sync with what is going on.  Most of all it helps you realize that blessings are still attainable when you use LiveStream.

Solid Video Streaming and Production Solution

Our overall experience with Vimeo is good but not anything jaw dropping. We've used it for years to produce our livestream events and while clients complain about the capabilities on the backend, the overall experience isn't anything that pushes them away.

                                                       My company uses Vimeo in two different ways. The first way is as a broadcast platform. We film everything and produce everything for our virtual events on our production tool. And then we send it from that production tool to Vimeo Livestream to get it out on the internet and make sure people can actually see it. And we can get the attendee count on there and everything, and count viewers and where they're coming in from and all that good stuff. That's using it as our broadcast tool.
                                                       And then the other way we use it is to deliver post event recordings to our clients. Vimeo is really great in that it lets you download from just a web link. We will send our clients their "Vimeo link" we call it, and they can go on there and download things, or they can actually type edits that they need done to the video right in a little sidebar. Really houses everything we need for post event recordings as well.
                                                       What I like most about Vimeo Livestream is that it's a really, really simple tool. There's not too many buttons to press. There's not too many things that you really have to click around to get where you need to go. It's a straightforward system and it really just has everything that my company needs to use day to day.
                                                       There's not too many things that I dislike about Vimeo Livestream as an individual, but I know that my company doesn't love that it doesn't get as many views as YouTube does per se for video hosting purposes. And then the only other thing is just the cost. I know that it's not our favorite thing to pay for every month.

                                                       Before we started using Vimeo Livestream, we were using a combination of Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and piecing things together. That was a little bit clunky, but of course being able to livestream things during COVID became a high priority, and Vimeo Livestream was a great solution for that.
                                                       We chose Vimeo Livestream for multiple reasons. We already had a Vimeo channel for a lot of our video content for our church. It's a great space that we were already using for storage and for management of videos. So moving to Vimeo Livestream meant that anything we're streaming through them is already archived, built into the library we already had maintained.
                                                       Vimeo Livestream also pushes out to any other platforms you would want it to be connected to. So we could use Livestream as the hub to then push to Facebook, push to YouTube, wherever. You could send out a server locally as well through the Livestream software.
                                                       They also provide a source called Livestream Studio for a digital video switcher for editing. We used that for a while too because it's included in the cost of hosting for Vimeo Livestream.
                                                       It was relatively easy getting started with Vimeo Livestream. There were a few things to learn that weren't terribly intuitive, but most of the interface is intuitive. Most of it has been simplified for the relatively common user. So we've had volunteers who were able to navigate things as well on the backend for Livestream. But there are a few ... the details, the really specific things you have to uncover in order to make tweaks to. That's a little bit annoying, but it's not a deal breaker by any means.
                                                       If you're trying to figure out which online space to both store and stream, I think that's really important to consider Vimeo Livestream as a solution. YouTube can do it, Facebook can do it, but both of those have a little bit of a specific audience that they're going to hit. Using Vimeo Livestream gives you both a source to host those things, plenty of storage space, but you can also push to any of those other spaces you might want to have your livestream broadcast.
                                                       So if you're considering storage space, centralized solution, and ability to push it out, I feel like those are all important things to consider and things that Vimeo Livestream can solve for you.
