Joomla for Perfect web site devolpment tool

2020-08-10

Best way to expressing and perform search engine optimization, mostly used for social media marketing, Classic UI and more configurable items make it useful, much secured and convenient working with server side, Lesser extensions are available to add more feature, integrated perfectly with social media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube perfectl.

Pros

Much secured and comprehensive content management system that supports wide range of websites, discussion, introduction, with personal messaging service, user management, role defining is fully covered including access to pages, detailed pages and customization can be done accordingly to enhanced added feature, direct access and working with server through its configuration.

Cons

Much complicated and hidden type setting, hard to customize it, due to complexity and difficult customization comparatively lesser plugins, extensions are available, so it needs more and more customization and work if you did not found your required features in prebuilt in extension.

content management system program

2020-01-07

the system I use for a blog, a tiny office web page. has a useful interface, the page unnecessary, you do not leave a code to the company that writes code.

Pros

By creating a website template, it provides file management on single or multiuser computers. is a content management system that will create wonders by the person who knows how to use it correctly. comparison with other content systems is wrong.

Cons

This may seem like a nice feature, but converting the database invites problems.

SuperB CMS for Web Development

2018-02-08

Great tool for web design.

Pros

Compared to other Content Management Systems out there, Joomla is one of the easier to learn ones, and also highly customizable. It provides a great interface for website owners/administrators to manage their website and do content updating.

Cons

Joomla is great, not much negatives to mention, but one of the cons against Joomla is that it exists in a very competitive space where a number of web content management systems exist.

I will keep using Joomla and can't recommend enough

2019-04-14

I was able to collaborate on design changes to our corporate website with my fellow designers and developers, and overall the experience of editing, designing, previewing, and publishing content was at first a little time consuming to follow all the steps, but eventually was so easy to follow time and time again.

Pros

I found Joomla to be a great tool that was used as the back end engine of our customer facing website. As someone with some technical skills, I was able to learn how to use the editing tools pretty quickly, I learned how to be a user administrator and set up permissions for our customer portal to allow ease of access for customer materials - the overall set up of these features was a very stress free process.

Cons

Depending on how you've decided to use this content management tool, the process of upgrading certain features and customizing the back end user interface can be challenging when the needs arise.

Decent software for content management

2018-04-10

Very powerful content management system

Pros

It's can be intimidating at first, but once you "get it", it becomes second nature to you- especially if you have to use it daily, as I was in my previous job. Quite straightforward and very powerful - and a lot of features a company can use when it grows. I doubt we used 10% of it.

Cons

Some features are added by third party plugins (K2), which can add to confusion.

Joomla Is Flexible With Many Features - Good For People With Some Technical Experience

2019-04-20

Some of the Joomla template designers do a great job in making creative eye-catching layouts for business owners and web developers to use quickly right from the start.

Pros

Third-party template providers offer thousands of possible templates which are already designed, making a fast setup and install for a business owner who might not have very much time.

Cons

You have to study and learn the system just to add the most common types of content that a website usually has.

Joomla vs. Drupal: That's what it really comes down to for your website.

2018-07-19

Be prepared for some design help, and a bit of programming help, compared to simple 'website builders' or even Wordpress, if you need a bigger and more complicated and interactive website.

Pros

And in today's business environment, with eCommerce, marketing and everything needing to be integrated, Joomla is a great way to do that!

Cons

We know there are plenty of websites running Joomla, and plenty of people love it.

Powerful, expandable, sometimes complex, Content Management System

2018-08-24

Joomla is my preferred Content Management System for deploying personal and customer websites.

Pros

Joomla has been around for more than 10 years and has matured and gotten a lot of developer support for templates, plug ins, and components.

Cons

It is often necessary to search for methods to achieve functionality that may already be in the product, but isn't obvious as to how to achieve it.

Inherited a Joomla site...

2019-12-03

I would NOT recommend Joomla as a CMS, save time and headaches and go with something more stable.

Pros

The CMS does allow for easy content creation and management, but plugin management leaves a LOT to be desired

Cons

It's confusing, its hard to use, permissions are complicated, paid plugins stop working when subscriptions aren't renewed (not really a con, just annoying), file hierarchy is confusing
