Pros

I appreciate the detail given for each order and there are also great functions like discount codes which makes using the website very useful. The layout, while basic, helps make navigating simple.
Shopify is a popular tool with great support that makes it easy to get started an online e-commerce business. It has also great integration across different platforms like Laptops/PCs and smartphones.
Shopify is fairly user friendly. It is easy to set up and has great tutorials and other resources to help the novice or less-technology-savvy out of us.

Pros

Simple but powerfull, great customer service and fast support , great and useful intelligence features. The B2B platform works great and customers appreciate that too.
TradeGecko also has an awesome Shopify plugin that really makes my life a lot easier. I would recommend this to any small/big business owner looking to clear up some free time for themselves.
We've had a very positive experience with TG. The customer support via email is amazing, so we always get quick answers, and good guidance on any issues we have.

Cons

Customer service was terrible, they offered a CSV upload which was useless to me, or offered to uplaod my items for me, and charge me a crazy amount of money for the service.
Shopify is paid and when it updates itself it gives some sort of errors in the online store and finding the error is a difficult task.
The premium charges are a slight turnoff due to the monthly charges. Smaller stores will have to look over their shoulders to make sure that they make enough to cover the monthly Shopify charges.

Cons

As is typical NO TRAINING is provided on CARtROVER, and there is no knowledge base in the Gecko system. Bonus, ther support will tell you that they are not able to support cart rover problems.
In a nutshell, we didn't get the advice we needed at the initial set-up time which in the end messed up our inventory and made our problem bigger over time.
We will probably be cancelling due to lack of ownership on the must have projects we could not complete due to finger pointing between all integration partners and TG.

Its generally good, but has some big shortcomings

No phone numbers to speak to anyone on the normal plans. Email support meant that 50% of problems were solved. Support emails go to a generic desk, so its difficult to continue a conversation with the same person. Or for one person to take control of a problem and help solve it.

Pros

Live updating of bundle quantities to our shopify store is very good The sync speed to shopify is good The usability of the software is good It can handle multiple currencies well

Cons

The actual core of the product - keeping track of inventory is not as robust as it needs to be. We have had many problems of bad syncing with shopify and xero. My opinion is tradegecko is the weak link. Sales are fine. Returns edits and exchanges are bad. So your stock numbers are out. Fulfillment & Inventory

Pros

- Different currencies - Different warehouses - Integration with Shopify - Exporter apps (to excel)

Cons

- Integration with Shopify not well designed (not possible to select specific warehouses). - Sales Order stages do not reflect distribution/retailer/customer needs (link to stock adjustment). - PO's releases not well designed. - Backorder features not usable. - Importing bulk orders not possible. - and probably more stuff. I was ones invited for a long discussion with a business analyst to share our business, issue, needs, etc. Apart from sharing, there has never been any follow-up.

Great inventory program

We buy stuff from overseas and not many inventory program (especially in Thailand) can handle multi currency and multi warehouse. It was a bit of a hiccup and overwhelming at first. But everything works after awhile. My personal experience is that no matter how good the program, it is still the user who will mess it up (by moving stock without entry in tradegecko, by selling without issuing sales orders....)

Seamless integration with Shopify and Awesome B2B functionalities

Pros

I been using Shopify for quite some time now and Shopify has limited functionality when it comes to managing stocks level and sometimes stocks may not be accurate. I was looking for an inventory that works well with Shopify and TradeGecko so far is the most stable. Also the B2B platform is a win win for us, I don't need to hire a web developer just to create our own site! This is superB! Clean design and simple looks and feel.

Cons

Hoping to support Dropshipping soon on future plans and also !This make the platform perfect! So far the system is good!

It has been good but customer service not always easy.

Pros

I like that you can have different stock locations, this makes it helpful for the different warehouses we have and store locations. It syncs well with Quickbooks and Shopify.

Cons

* I think there should be an easier way to move line items on a sales order or purchase order * I think there should be an easy report that tells you what items you need to order to fulfill open purchase orders. * The sales are registered in the month they are entered it would be great to run a report of sales that are finalized as per shipping. * The Packing Lists could be more user friendly

We used this program for 10 months and have now paid alot of money to change from it

The only benefit was that we could export our years work into csv for another software company to onboard us easily

Pros

Has some good features and b2b, shopify link etc. we came from MYOB which had none of that, but after a years use with 5 staff hating it we could not continue with constant issues

Cons

Once you get into it. Trade gecko lacks even the most basic features. No credit hold. will not calculate accurate landed costs if your freight provider is different to your product supplier. reporting is a nightmare. all sales reports include tax, and are a "guide only" according to them. It doesnt have proper settings for xero link, so if you charge a customer freight it goes through as a sale with...

Tradegecko enables my business to manage ordering, inventory, and B2B sales. It seamlessly integrates with all of my other systems. The customer support is top notch- they're always quick to get back and very helpful in solving problems. Would HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone interested.

Inventory management is very comprehensive with detailed reports and clear presentation. I'm surprised it can even help us with quotations which improves our sales operations!

Pros

Cons

I have to click more buttons to check exactly where the stock locations are at. SKU name entered back-end may not be what I want to display on third party front-end in e-commerce site such as Shopify.

My trade Gecko

As far as inventory management goes, Trade Gecko is excellent. we sell product from several websites including wholesale and Trade Gecko acts as our warehouse where all stock sits. Love itt for making this straight forward.

Pros

At first I was hesitant, do we really need this extra site? we also operate Xero and shopify. I almost said no. Thank goodness I didnt because Trade Gecko has streamlined our retail sites and our wholesale sales. I cant imagine how e would work without it.

Cons

I do find the Invoice layout good but I cant change the margins and end up wasting a lot of paper because the invoice print to two pages when really it could be one page. Very frustrating. Also would love report that quickly shows how we are tracking versus the same period last year.

Our stock counts are now 100%, they also take half the normal time.

Pros

These guys are the real deal, they really helped my company sort out our stock issues. TradeGecko also has an awesome Shopify plugin that really makes my life a lot easier. I would recommend this to any small/big business owner looking to clear up some free time for themselves.

Cons

Nothing to complain about, everything is working well.

    TradeGecko does everything I need and if there's ever anything I struggle with, their helpful customer service team is always in touch promptly if not instantly. Inventory management is necessary when running a business of any size, and the fact that you can also integrate with Shopify for online sales, Xero for accounting, and plenty of other integrations is amazing. 5 stars!

    Great solution but poor integration with accounting software

    Pros

    Easy to use out of the box solution, nice interphase. The upload functions are great, which is ahead of some software solutions.

    Cons

    We linked tradegecko with quickbook. Up till today, tradegecko does not push information correctly to quickbook despite marketing it as having integration with quickbook. Cost of goods sold pushed to quickbook is grossly inaccurate causing us a lot of issues in managing our books. Support is not good either. The solution promised never came and even when they said it's resolved, it is far from resolved. and yes it is only via email. So if you're in urgent need of help, it is pretty frustrating. We tried connecting tradegecko to shopify and it actually messed up our inventory numbers in shopify. I would say great solution idea, but poor execution. It is far from ready to be launched to be used.

    Pros

    Having investigated dozens of inventory systems, TG is by far the best for our needs. Good points; compliant inventory valuation method, good reporting, easy import/export, multicurrency support, good 3rd party apps (inventory planner + shopify), landed costs, easy PO editing and roll-back, variant & combination products. This product acts as our "master" inventory across several channels. Customer service is excellent and very helpful.

    Cons

    Could do with basic user role assignments on their 1 channel plan instead of upgrading just for this. More 3rd-party integrations would be good.

    Game changer

    We are Canadian electric bike manufacturer and needed a program to manage our inventory and orders. Trade Gecko is specifically designed for our wholesaling business. It supports multiple currencies which is feature we need as we we supply bikes in Canada and USA. Very intuitive interface and easy to integrate with our Shopify store and Quickbooks. Support team quickly responds to support inquiries. Fair pricing for what you get.

    Cons

    Had a few issues with certain data not syncing properly. (Support team was quick to solve) Reporting functions could be improved to allow more customized reports.
