Pros

We love that is is really use to use, to manage the products and check the orders. It is very user friendly, which is really helpful when you have a large team.
I love how easy it is to check out. I love there is a card swiping device too so payments are flawlessly done.
Shopify is a popular tool with great support that makes it easy to get started an online e-commerce business. It has also great integration across different platforms like Laptops/PCs and smartphones.

Pros

Simple but powerfull, great customer service and fast support , great and useful intelligence features. The B2B platform works great and customers appreciate that too.
It's very simple to use which is great for us as we need our stores to access this website. Photos with descriptions are great and the pricing is very competitive so that's a plus for us.
We have not had any issues with this software, and it has been easy for our team to implement. Within the landscape of other competitors, it's a great option.

Cons

Was not very much support on the stubborn aps that refuse to leave when you delete them.
Sometimes on the app I have trouble tracking my package either error from the sending company or from the something on my end in not understanding the app to it's fullest.
Bad practice, leaves a bad taste in the mouth. No other company does that.

Cons

As is typical NO TRAINING is provided on CARtROVER, and there is no knowledge base in the Gecko system. Bonus, ther support will tell you that they are not able to support cart rover problems.
In a nutshell, we didn't get the advice we needed at the initial set-up time which in the end messed up our inventory and made our problem bigger over time.
Only if we knew that at the very first stage we could have avoid so much trouble.

Pros

I really like Shopify because it's easy to use. Also it has different features you can use or apps you can add to your store to be able to make things faster or easier

Cons

i don't like the fact that the free trial is just to build your store, to be able to open your store to the public you have to pay.. In my case I used the free trial and then paid for a one month plan but didn't do any sale, and the plans are not cheap so I lost all that money.

I've used Shopify for a couple different website builds, 2 of which my own. It works well for ecommerce the best in my opinion when you need a straight forward shop build. Beyond that and other platforms may be a better option.

Pros

It's easy to setup for people that have minimal website experience, and if you have done it before it's even easier. There are multiple options for themes and pricing levels for what works best for you. It's a good option for ecommerce sites starting out, and even some that are still in growing stages or medium sizes.

Cons

It becomes a little limited in accessibility without customization when you're expanding beyond just ecommerce. Aside from ecommerce it isn't the best option compared to other website platforms.

It is a compromise so that we can fulfill our eCommerce sales. Reporting is horrible and lacking out of Shopify for reporting purposes. Customer service tries to help, but there is only so much they can do if the system itself does not have the capability. Hard to get reports out of Shopify to reconcile. Spend more time than necesarry working around all the issues associated with the product. Integration is horrible Shopify refuses to work with most other products, including our POS and ERP.

Pros

Ability to sell subscription based eCommerce.

Cons

Cannot sell shop gift cards directly. Sells Shopify specific gift cards or redirects to shop website to obtain shop gift cards.

Shopify is the easiest eCommerce platform I've used. It requires basic to no coding experience to build a beautiful functional eCommerce website.

Cons

I wish some of the features that people use through paying monthly should be available as optional features for basic/free themes. For example, countdown timer, scarcity bar, sticky add to cart button, and much more.

Perfect solution to simple eCommerce website setups

Pros

Shopify takes care of all the details automatically that you need to setup manually in other systems. It's ultra fast to have a secure website with the right taxes, shipping and payment options. I love that it's closed source so ultra secure without any extra work. It's SUPER fast and easy to add products too once everything is setup.

Cons

The design options are really limited, especially on interior pages. Themes are expensive, and add-ons really add up if you need advanced features.

Its generally good, but has some big shortcomings

No phone numbers to speak to anyone on the normal plans. Email support meant that 50% of problems were solved. Support emails go to a generic desk, so its difficult to continue a conversation with the same person. Or for one person to take control of a problem and help solve it.

Pros

Live updating of bundle quantities to our shopify store is very good The sync speed to shopify is good The usability of the software is good It can handle multiple currencies well

Cons

The actual core of the product - keeping track of inventory is not as robust as it needs to be. We have had many problems of bad syncing with shopify and xero. My opinion is tradegecko is the weak link. Sales are fine. Returns edits and exchanges are bad. So your stock numbers are out. Fulfillment & Inventory

Pros

- Different currencies - Different warehouses - Integration with Shopify - Exporter apps (to excel)

Cons

- Integration with Shopify not well designed (not possible to select specific warehouses). - Sales Order stages do not reflect distribution/retailer/customer needs (link to stock adjustment). - PO's releases not well designed. - Backorder features not usable. - Importing bulk orders not possible. - and probably more stuff. I was ones invited for a long discussion with a business analyst to share our business, issue, needs, etc. Apart from sharing, there has never been any follow-up.

Great inventory program

We buy stuff from overseas and not many inventory program (especially in Thailand) can handle multi currency and multi warehouse. It was a bit of a hiccup and overwhelming at first. But everything works after awhile. My personal experience is that no matter how good the program, it is still the user who will mess it up (by moving stock without entry in tradegecko, by selling without issuing sales orders....)

Pros

Multi warehouse. Multi currency. Multiple integration with other app such as quickbooks, shopify

Cons

Speed... And report sometimes not accurate

Seamless integration with Shopify and Awesome B2B functionalities

Pros

I been using Shopify for quite some time now and Shopify has limited functionality when it comes to managing stocks level and sometimes stocks may not be accurate. I was looking for an inventory that works well with Shopify and TradeGecko so far is the most stable. Also the B2B platform is a win win for us, I don't need to hire a web developer just to create our own site! This is superB! Clean design and simple looks and feel.

Cons

Hoping to support Dropshipping soon on future plans and also !This make the platform perfect! So far the system is good!

It has been good but customer service not always easy.

Pros

I like that you can have different stock locations, this makes it helpful for the different warehouses we have and store locations. It syncs well with Quickbooks and Shopify.

Cons

* I think there should be an easier way to move line items on a sales order or purchase order * I think there should be an easy report that tells you what items you need to order to fulfill open purchase orders. * The sales are registered in the month they are entered it would be great to run a report of sales that are finalized as per shipping. * The Packing Lists could be more user friendly
