I love using Klaviyo. I actually converted after using Omnisend for a few years. I've also used HubSpot and MailChimp, but Klaviyo beats them all. It's incredibly user-friendly, especially for design!
I love the subject line automation, the most. I also love how easy it is to segment, how you can create desktop and mobile versions of emails, and how I can see all of the email campaign metrics in real-time.
It can stall sometimes when I'm trying to edit the content. The text box can be glitchy and require refreshing.

This has really helped with conversions by tracking and focussing on customer behaviour.
Tracks customer behaviour in real time. Great for personalization with dynamic content tags. Integration with Shopify is awesome!
It takes a while to get your head around some of the settings and setting it up. To make the most of it, some basic coding knowledge will help. Otherwise, I would recommend getting an expert to help with setup.

Despite the cons I laid out above, if you do have decent traffic and a good list size, you're missing out by not using klaviyo.
Klaviyo is the gold standard in eCommerce email & SMS marketing for a reason. It serves as a central hub for all your customer data and is the foundational building block for a strong segmentation & CLV strategy. It's extremely powerful with lots of features to tailor your marketing to your specific business case. I've also been very pleased with Klaviyo's customer support and educational resources.
Let's face it — this isn't the cheapest email software out there. For small eComm companies that are just starting out, it likely isn't the best option. The price isn't justified unless you have a decent-sized list and traffic on your site. It's also complex so there's a little bit of a learning curve.

Power of email is real. Support is good. Webinars are useful to get good tips.
Flows - automation Analytics - digging deeper in the profiles Forms - implementing on our site and being able to capture emails directly
Fonts Creating segment definitions not as intuitive Better way of organizing uploaded images so you can search easier Linking content from site - search capability needs to be better Wish editing tools for images were more robust

I was new to Klaviyo and, based on a recommendation, decided to use it with a new Shopify store I was rolling out. Wow, what an incredible piece of software! It integrates beautifully with Shopify, giving me all kinds of power to add customers to email flows or send them one-off emails based on a host of criteria. I can do everything you'd expect from a good email provider, plus things like send emails to everyone who browsed a certain page on the site or everyone who purchased a particular product or who had a certain order size or who hasn't purchased in a certain amount of time. The possibilities are endless. It's very straightforward and incredibly easy to use. I give it a hearty recommendation for Shopify store owners!
Ease of use, flexibility and power
A couple of limitations with its functionality and Shopify integration, such as not being able to trigger an email flow when a customer's shipment gets marked out for delivery, or not being able to save pre-configured blocks of content to drag and drop into every email.

I enjoy using Klaviyo. Building new emails is easy (and fun) with their included templates and suggestions. The trainings and academy content helps to continue my professional development and means I am able to continue improving.
Klaviyo is an intuitive software for email list management and content creation that provides helpful analytics and suggestions for improvement. t integrates easily with Shopify. Live trainings with their team are helpful, and their support team for any inquiries makes for a great experience all around.
When integrating with Shopify at first, it can be difficult to track where emails are going out - through flows or directly through Shopify. We still have issues with some of this. Some of the training information is hard to implement when you are a company that does not introduce new products often or that has high-cost products.

As a digital marketer, Klaviyo's e-commerce ability is an invaluable time save. Establishing the nuts and bolts of the system is painless and consistent. Creating and maintaining on brand, elevated content is a challenge with the current template system.
Klaviyo seems to have been built for Shopify stores, so integration is incredibly fast with extensive features. Abandoned cart emails, welcome flows, newsletters, this is all auto-generated from templates nearly instantaneously. Functionality, reporting and delivery are all A+. Drag and drop is easy to use although not the most attractive email builder I've seen.
"Custom" templates are block creations which are very unappealing, but provided templates are very assertive in their look, meaning it might not translate well across brands. The email copy is subject to limitations from the template, and not the other way around. There is no landing page builder, which is a shame.

I helped a small team come up with new marketing campaign flows and improve existing ones for their email campaigns by working with them on content and design layout. They saw big improvements in customer win-backs, so I can't rate this product high enough.
I have carpal tunnel, so having to point and click around with the mouse is painful, but it must be done.

Overall, Klaviyo has made setting up email marketing for my ecommerce websites super simple and effective. I would recommend to anyone that has an ecommerce site and wants to easily set up flows and make beautiful emails.
Klaviyo has easy to customize templates that make your emails look beautiful and creative. You do not need to know how to code in order to customize them. The pre-built automation flows make setting email marketing super easy. I love the drag and drop feature for setting up flows. It makes it easy to visualize and plan any campaign.
You have to be a paying member for live chat support. Regardless, the customer service is still super helpful. Just be aware that if you are on the free plan, you may have to email your questions. The pro, however, is that klaviyo has a bunch of content online that you can read to answer your own questions.

Klaviyo it's an easy platform to use, it allows you to track how your users interact with every campaign you create and send; due to this, you can make changes to your content, and designs. It gives you accurate information if you have implemented the integrations to follow users on every stage, until its conversion.
It has some essential features in a small letter size which is complicated and complex to read; sometimes it isn't as intuitive as you would like it to be.

Klaviyo has helped us build our email marketing and is one of my favorite marketing tools/platforms that I use on a daily basis.
I love pretty much everything about Klaviyo - from the visual/block email builder to the segmentation and automated flows, Klaviyo has helped us level up our email marketing in the past year from zero to thriving. I find it easy to work with on a team and with outside content creators and have gotten so much out of the Klaviyo Live From Your Laptop and Black Friday Bootcamp live webinar series they've run this year.
My only complaint thus far would be that saved blocks do not update across emails when you make changes (so if you change something in the block you have to go into every email where it is and manually update it to the newest version of the block) - but I have been told this is something that's being worked on. I will also say that we have gotten much more metrics and ROI out of the platform once...

Klaviyo pairs incredibly well with Shopify data. It is an incredible medium for building an audience and for following up with customers with valuable information such as installation guides. We love to hear from our customers and queue up emails to check in and ask for real feedback months down the line. Klaviyo is a really useful tool for drafting emails for sorting through your customers and...

Before Klaviyo: The newsletters got written eventually but clumsily, and not as often as I'd like. Follow-ups, re-engagement campaigns, customer win backs, cart and browse abandonment were either 1) not a thing or 2) a dry affair automated without the addition of rules to secure the right audience. Klaviyo changed everything, we are now rocking and rolling on a new level. We have been able to attribute...
I'd say so far I like the rules setup the best, segmenting my flows and campaigns to make sure I'm only hitting up people who 1) are interested in what I have to say right now, 2) Are the right audience for my current message/in-store sale announcement, etc and/or 3) Have not heard a similar message anytime recently. My other favorite is the easy integrations with other apps I'm using to manage my eCommerce and Digital marketing systems.
No overall CTR metric available (only per-campaign), nor a metric for open-rate stats across all campaigns/flows. Needing more training to intuit the analytics panel and some features but they do not have phone training available, I've been using it for about two months now, and I have a few blind spots that I cannot intuit from the interface, which is now a problem for me. They answered what they could via email.
