Most positive review

 Great Service and Customer Support

We have been using this for 5 months and love how it integrates with our website and sends the shipping tracking information right to our customers. The service has been great and the customer service has been timely and accurate.

Beautiful and Easy to use, but lacking in features

Lack of modern Ecommerce features Limited in promotions/discounts you can create. Squarespace lets you build probably the most beautiful websites out of an website host. They make it easy to build your own site and set things up. However they lack a lot in the ecommerce side of things. There is ...

Mobility and ease of use

09/06/2017

Pros

Mobility and ease of use makes a great product customers like it and we like using it, emailing receipts what more do you need

Cons

Can't think of any cons maybe the fee could be cheaper but who doesn't want that. Maybe incorporate NFC so you don't need a card reader for like Apple Pay etc

Easy to make your own space and look professional doing it.

09/06/2017

Pros

It is very easy to create pages and edit them. It is also very easy to copy and paste information and add images to pages.

Cons

Manipulating boxes can sometimes be tedious tasks, as it has certain formats that you must stay within, but once you get used to it, it is fairly simple.

Alright, but need to step up their game

08/06/2017

Ecommerce function is lame. Also wish the blog feature had more in common with LinkedIn than WordPress. I don't want to log into pages every d#mn time, if you know what I mean.

Pros

If you don't have any clue what you're doing or what you want, use Squarespace. It's hard to get lost when you don't have a destination in mind. If I was a restaurant, musician, or anyone else that just wanted to "get her done" I''d use this in a heartbeat... though with all the competition out there, I'd do my homework first.

Cons

If there's something that you'd like to tweak or make your own, you're pretty SOL'ed. Sure there's the opportunity to code at your own risk, but surely in 2017 we can find a true happy medium, no? Loading times were also slow which means I spent a good deal of my build time watching the circle of buffering death spin. Frustrating.

Very easy to use for non-computer person

07/06/2017

Pros

I like the ability to edit and adapt easily. Once our designer set up the website, she was able to turn it over to us for use since then.

Cons

Mainly, I just wish there were more options for training and learning the software myself so that I would know all of the options.

Squarespace is a game-changer in the web world!

03/06/2017

Pros

We have been using Squarespace for several years now and at this point, it's really the only platform that I would build a website on (for my own purposes). The ease of use, the simply, clean, and well-designed templates, and the functionality is awesome, and all of this with very reasonable pricing. It's also so simple to use that any normal person (without much web knowledge) can easily maintain their own website rather than having to pay a professional to do it.

Cons

There are certain features that are lacking that you could get through other web platforms (especially shop features), but overall, these things are small in comparison with all that it does have to offer, especially for the price.

Professional quality website

21/04/2017

I used a competitor for creating a previous website. I wish I would have used Squarespace instead. The templates are awesome! There are so many to choose from. You can make a great website without needing extensive training or experience in website development. If you like the template the way it is, just add your content. If not, customize it to your specific needs. I love it!

Pros

Squarespace has tons of high quality templates to choose from. Each template is fully editable. They've created a platform that looks great and is easy to use. You need some tech skills, but you don't need web design experience or training to make a professional website.

Cons

If I had to pick one con, I'd have to say that I don't like the setup and format of the commerce options.

Stunning High-End Websites for those who don't need bells & whistles

14/04/2017

I always used Wix in the past to build websites, however I needed a very high end look and Squarespace fit the bill. I'll admit, at first Squarespace was difficult for me to navigate when building my homepage. However, I watched the tutorials and was able to figure it out quickly. The final product is stunning and I didn't have to do anything to make it mobile friendly - which is a huge plus. However, with the built-in adaptability comes some trouble. You cannot fully customize everything. There were several items I wanted on the site or little tweaks I wanted to make that were not possible. I'd hope to have a gallery style blog page, but the design I chose for the rest of the site didn't allow that. In addition, the SEO on the design I used was very difficult to get right in Google. I tried to work with customer service, however they said the only way around my issue was by building custom CSS code. So, I taught myself to code. There are people who adapt Squarespace sites for a living, but I didn't want to pay for this. Overall, I'm happy with the final product and clients love it. I would like to see more customization options.

Pros

Stunning sites High-end product Self-adapts for mobile viewing Integration with google Great designs

Cons

Lack of customization on individual templates Not enough consideration of SEO Need to use CSS

Amazing

15/03/2017

Great software. Coming from a computer science background and living through the .com bubble I've had to use a multitude of software from basic HTML - Dreamweaver - flash - etc... When looking at companies to update our website I was getting crazy quotes all over the place. Looked into this, and its so simple. Took me a weekend to do the site myself, with zero programming. We dont use the ecommerce so I cant speak on that, but for everything else, amazing. Days of coding/HTML/flash/etc.. are long gone - Thankfully.

Pros

Simple to use. Super affordable. Always updating. Works in any browser/smart phone device. Getting compliments from clients on ease-of-use.

Cons

Could use more templates. No Calendar/Event/Scheduling yet. (coming soon?)
