Most positive review

 Great Service and Customer Support

We have been using this for 5 months and love how it integrates with our website and sends the shipping tracking information right to our customers. The service has been great and the customer service has been timely and accurate.

Most critical review

Beautiful and Easy to use, but lacking in features

Lack of modern Ecommerce features Limited in promotions/discounts you can create. Squarespace lets you build probably the most beautiful websites out of an website host. They make it easy to build your own site and set things up. However they lack a lot in the ecommerce side of things. There is ...

Beautiful website for my business

20/07/2017

I created a clean, simple webpage for my small business with squarespace. There are so many templates to choose from and the customization options are endless.

Pros

Clean, beautiful templates to choose from.

Cons

I feel like the customization process could be more user friendly.

Visually stunning, user friendly design & functionality

18/07/2017

15x as many inquiries as I got before using another website builder platform, customer credibility, and a LOT less stress and time wasted!

Pros

Visually stunning, mobile responsive template designs that allow a TON of user-friendly, drag and drop design flexibility. My website looks like I pay 20x more than I actually do and has truly revolutionized my business! I love the form feature and the ability for my customers to contact me and fill out questionnaires based on a wide variety of different "field" options all automatically sent straight to my email.

Cons

The website editor has crashed for me often on Safari, so I had to get used to using Chrome for website editing. The form reporting also isn't the greatest, so while I do love getting form responses/reports sent straight to my email, they are sent in plain text in the email body so it makes it more difficult to gather and synchronize form results (would love PDF/spreadsheet options as well).

Great for professional-looking personal websites

18/07/2017

Pros

Easy-to-use: Just type the text into the box! Really quick to purchase and integrate multiple domain names for one site.

Cons

Difficult to figure out how to edit the template. Definitely need to pick your template based on the navigation layout.

dead simple to use

12/07/2017

Pages load really fast. Easy to know your top pages in 10 seconds or less.

Pros

Easy analytics. We used google analytics before and it takes a PhD to understand it. SquareSpace is very simple to understand and it loads fast etc. Easy to setup a new page etc.

Cons

Not integrated with other CRMs or many other softwares. You have to use their short list of integrated products

Sleek and Easy

27/06/2017

Easy to setup my website and get an online presence, with SSL.

Pros

Squarespace is great for those who have no technical knowledge and just want a platform that is easy to use, looks clean and simple, and gives you a decent level of customization.

Cons

What I don't like about it is I wish that I could customize it more and ticker around with the templates and pages. Squarespace does a good job of baby-proofing their system so that you don't accidentally break your website. But as a front-end developing in training, I wish I could break it a little more.

Great tool for our homebrew club

27/06/2017

Easy to use, build and maintain website

Pros

We needed a website for our homebrew club and square space made it so easy to do. We were able to quickly put a website together with all the functionality we needed and we're able to use plugins to make things like having a forum very easy to implement.

Cons

If you know how to edit a website beyond the basics you may feel slightly restricted but if that is the case there are plenty of other options out there

Mobility and ease of use

09/06/2017

Pros

Mobility and ease of use makes a great product customers like it and we like using it, emailing receipts what more do you need

Cons

Can't think of any cons maybe the fee could be cheaper but who doesn't want that. Maybe incorporate NFC so you don't need a card reader for like Apple Pay etc

Easy to make your own space and look professional doing it.

09/06/2017

Pros

It is very easy to create pages and edit them. It is also very easy to copy and paste information and add images to pages.

Cons

Manipulating boxes can sometimes be tedious tasks, as it has certain formats that you must stay within, but once you get used to it, it is fairly simple.

Alright, but need to step up their game

08/06/2017

Ecommerce function is lame. Also wish the blog feature had more in common with LinkedIn than WordPress. I don't want to log into pages every d#mn time, if you know what I mean.

Pros

If you don't have any clue what you're doing or what you want, use Squarespace. It's hard to get lost when you don't have a destination in mind. If I was a restaurant, musician, or anyone else that just wanted to "get her done" I''d use this in a heartbeat... though with all the competition out there, I'd do my homework first.

Cons

If there's something that you'd like to tweak or make your own, you're pretty SOL'ed. Sure there's the opportunity to code at your own risk, but surely in 2017 we can find a true happy medium, no? Loading times were also slow which means I spent a good deal of my build time watching the circle of buffering death spin. Frustrating.
