Squarespace vs Square Online Comparison

I love square space especially for small businesses. Easy access for payment processing

I have not had any problems with square space. So far so good.

Square space helps me to run my online store it is very simple and easy to use. Also in little time period.

It is very simple and available in cheap price. So i recommend every one to use this software.

A company built to help small business. I have used Square and Squarespace for a few years and everything always works smoothly. Some of the online features I wish were better, but for a store set up square is great.

For the online and web services it would be nice to have more options and more integrations. Also would like to see the ability for more bulk editing options on items.

Squarespace is pretty simple to use. Its drag and drop interface makes making a website super simple to build. There is an integrated payment system. If you know HTML it allows you to make major alterations to your website. And hey, there are tons of templates as well.

The templates are very restricted in their functionality and you cant make lots of changes to the website templates that Squarespace offers.

The templates look great, and are suitable for many different types of businesses. Also, if your business happens to be e-commerce (like mine) Square Space makes it easy to add your online store.

The pricing is a little steep, in addition to the limitations on the depth of menus you can use. Be aware that you may run into issues if your website menu is a deep web of categories.

Need headphone jack not alot of phones have one.

this software is great if you are a business owner with a online shop presence. It helps me stay organized with my website and integration is easy. It's a say way to build a great basic website and a user friendly shopping cart.

Square overall has alot of great softwares, wish they could mash them into one instead of me having to download 8 different square apps

I love that Square works on iphones and ipads and offers contactless payments/Apple Pay. I bring my Square reader with me to all my meetings.

Not really any cons to speak of, better rates would be welcomed, but they are reasonable as they are.

The most impactful features are the webbed site builder, and the most important part is that it’s easy to use and very user-friendly

Honestly, over the years that I’ve use square space all of the little quirks and tweaks that they’ve made have brought it up to speed and I can say that there isnt any glaring mistakes

I love how many templates there are with Square Space. If you aren't the most tech savvy Square Space has great material that will teach what to do.

There are a lot of feature so it can get a little overwhelming at time.

I like how simple Squarespace is to use. It is intuitive and produces a great product.

There is nothing I don’t like about Squarespace

I love that’s its platforms that helps you grow your business in an edgy and very appropriate way. They have amazing templates to choose from.

While its an amazing apps to help create a website page for your business. It’s not easy to navigate some of the settings

The designs of the template available on the platform is it greatest selling point. I am a big fan of minimalist designs and square space has the best as well as the ease to build the website.

So far, I haven't had any issue with square space.

Not great with client and student management and a bit pricy

The need for an app that requires wireless when sometimes, remote business locations don't allow it.

At first square space didn’t offer the afterpay feature but now they do!

As a consumer I no longer have to carry cash, I know that small vendors will utilize square space to process my payment.

I have yet to encounter “tap” on a mobile square space

Square space has a few features that other platforms do not have.

The whole system was difficult to navigate and hard to understand.

The cost to use square space is super reasonable! Really user friendly as well!

You would think there would be grammar or spell check available for the amount of writing you need to do. I constantly copy and pasted to a Microsoft word document to check for those possible errors.

this product is very easy to use and layout is extremely manageable.

up till now i havent found anything that i disliked about square space.

Square space makes it super convienient to collect payment with its plug in capability.

Just the percentage that you pay to use the service. However, compared to any other service it is a reasonable rate.

I like the fact that I can check out customers for my phone with the card slipper they provide for free right onto my square app

I don't like the fact that I had to wait to get my funds for 90 days when I made my first payment or when I took my first payment from a customer using my slight card reader

I love using square space for website templates, in their field they are absolutely unmatched.

At this point there was nothing that I disliked about squarespace

Easy implementation for small business. Tracks orders & handles in person transactions well. Great tool for a small company getting started.

Designer is a bit more clunky than similar platforms like Squarespace or Shopify but it does the job well.

I like how easy it was to create a simple website that looks good and works well with little issue.

Square Online is meant to go along with their other services, such as POS, inventory management, online shops, appointments, etc. It's not trying to be highly customizable, but it is just customizable enough to do a fine job for most small businesses.
