Pros

Twitter is a great platform to use for its simplistic use and its availability to integrate into other platforms and softwares because of its popularity.
Any social media site is good for business - really helps you promote your product. Love that there are so many people - all walks of life on twitter - from celebrities to grandfathers.
Overall, it is a great software and I would recommend it to anyone who might be interested in trying it out.

Pros

The world is changing so rapidly and its important to be tuned in and aware, open and active; so this is a great place for intelligent, driven people who desire to achieve.
It has honestly been a great experience with this product and I’ve been super happy with it.
I appreciate that I could look at people's profiels within a glance. I also appreciate seeing that people/recruiters have looked at my profile and thought about me for a certain opportunity.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about the app is that the don't filter the post properly. Sometimes I just see inappropriate tweets and it is sometimes irritating.
The people on the app are harsher because most of the time, you are "anonymous. And it could be a bit confusing to use at first because it is a bit different from others.
Only there are lots of fake accounts in the app and when you send complaints to Twitter, it is not easy to receive feedback.

Cons

There are some fake employers and fake user profiles in LinkedIn, which is not acceptable in professional social networking platform. Also, the Linkedin premium is a bit costly.
It glitched at times and failed to load properly. Sometimes it lousy what information was already inputted.
Looking for new roles is not as easy using LinkedIn as it is on other job sites. Most suggested postings are irrelevant to my skills and some are fraudulent.

Twitter

Essential for Social & Brand Management

Reviewed 3 months ago

Overall, Twitter is a great tool to share important company messages and new content with our customers and followers. While it does not offer as many capabilities for marketers that other social media platforms can, it is still an important part of our marketing toolkit.

Pros

Twitter is one of the key social media platforms in the marketplace, making it an essential place for brands to manage their reputation and increase customer engagement.

Cons

Twitter is not great for serving ads or targeting specific groups of people, making it primarily a brand management tool rather than one for lead generation. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are capable of fulfilling both needs.

Twitter

Best for Business

Reviewed 7 years ago

Every business should be on social networks especially on Twitter. Twitter is unique among social media networks. One of the highlights of using Twitter is every tweet appears in your follower’s feeds that gives us best impressions. Twitter mentions helps to inform them them of your tweet that helps us to do direct interactions with anyone.

Pros

Easy to use, perfect for business.

Cons

The 140 characters in Tweets is bit tough at least for me. Now you can now chat on (and on) in a single Direct Message, and likely still have some characters left over.

Tweet to grow Business Events!

Reviewed a year ago

I love Twitter and think everyone should be trying to use it, because there is no downside. It's affordable, doesn't take up too much time and could lead to MORE business!

Pros

I was already familiar with Twitter (a bit) but had no idea I could be using it for a business tool. I started using it to spread the word about our events, I was able to track the amount of views and shares and EVERYONE knows twitter, so it's been very popular with customers.

Cons

I don't really have any major Cons to discuss, I'm still just learning how to fully utilize the program from a business standpoint instead of just personal gossip. It would be less of a Con if there were tutorials available for business leaders.

It is also a great platform for free speech. 5. One great thing about Twitter is that it does not allow running any political ad or campaign. 6. Twitter is also a great platform for your business. It provides your business with free exposure and can generate a lot of traffic.

Cons

1. On Twitter, it is also likely that you will be exposed to bad and depressing news. 2. On Twitter, there are lots of fake accounts. However, necessary actions are being taken. 3. Since it is a social media platform, it can be very addictive and can waste your valuable time.

Professional Social Network that is trying HARD to reach you | Only for GrownUps!

Pros

*Linked in is a great tool for professionals In comparison to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, VK and others, Linkedin is not searching for traffic or huge amount of visitors. The platforms aims to target only relevant people. It has no fun(technically) or no specific aim to connect genders. And this is the beauty of the network. It is the best tool to find job, have your work contacts separated from your REAL LIFE and expand your possibilities and career.

Cons

*Design is quite old, which is the same issue with almost any social network today, *Great functionality and integrations come at the cost and they made Linkedin slow and unusable on old devices.

LinkedIN if Used Properly for Networking its worth its weight in Gold

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

Ive been using Linkedin for at least 6 years now when I first started to use it of course it was a learning curve being that I am a business owner I was please to know that there was a social network that doesn't have all the clutter and meaningless photos of say Facebook and Twitter. If im being honest I have probably developed at least 200+ leads just through messaging and targeting based on finding specific groups and posting relevant content.

Cons

My major problem with Linkedin is the change to how you access and find new groups. It use to be as simple as going to the dropdown at the top of the page and clicking "Groups" then you could place search inquires and add relevant groups to that search. Now it seems like you have to go though like three areas just to find it. Also the mailbox gets too cluttered I know you can get a purchased account an circumvent that with Inmail but on the normal account it can get annoying.

It is the best networking tool for professionals globally. Linkedin for business helps seasoned professionals, beginners, students, self-employed, freelancers, or just about anyone in showcasing their profiles to the entire world. The profile builder is so powerful and versatile that you can efficiently share yourself to help you in your career. Recently, It has evolved into a social media tool to keep you from getting bored with serious stuff.

Pros

There are quite a few beneficial features on its ever-growing platform. You can build up your network of friends, colleagues, and strangers to build a solid social media presence. It lets you chat with people in your network in real-time. You can leave messages for people outside your connections domain to grow your network or help in career growth. There are some cool features like “Who has viewed...

Cons

Recent changes have made this professional networking site turn into a usual social media page. Some users may dislike those irritating features on it, such as likes, comments, etc. Linkedin has diluted its identity by following the footsteps of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Secondly, there are many features available only on the paid platform. Subscription plans may be a bit expensive for a large majority of users. Finally, there are many fake profiles on LinkedIn, which makes your extensive network meaningless to some extent. Finally, it does not have an obituary, so perhaps you may find yourself approaching a dead man to pitch for yourself!
