Pros

Using Twitter over the years has been a very wonderful experience for me. the user experience is great, the layout is cool and superb updates keep rolling in.
I like it because when using Twitter you must summarize what you want to express in a few characters, this is very good because when you synthesize you highlight the most important thing.
Been very happy with Twitter as it helps us engage with our customers better and faster.

Pros

Cons

There are a lot of "bots" on Twitter (not real people, computers designed to harass, troll, and tweet out the garbage) that add negativity and distract from connecting with real users.
Nowadays there are so many fake profiles on twitter and those are spreading misleading information. Those fake and misleading news creates severe problems in society.
While there are no direct cons as such, one thing which might happen is that fake profile can be created specifically to harm a competitors brand image.
