I like that WooCommerce makes it fairly easy to manage inventory, track sales and it provides ways to keep customers engaged and coming back.
This software offers robust features for managing retail inventory, sales and customer engagement.
Because of the many features, there is a bit of a learning curve and it's time consuming to train employees for proper use.

I've used WooCommerce to create two e-commerce websites for clients. I've mad Wordpress sites for years, but I had no prior knowledge of e-commerce platforms and was able to learn it quickly.
Very easy to set up and integrate with Wordpress, Elementor and Square.
There is zero support from WooCommerce. I've spent days looking through forums for answers, and then paying a tech guy on Fiver to fix things.

Positive, cheap and easy enough to implement, anyone can leverage the product to create their own e-commerce website no matter what budget.
Product hierarchy layout, ability to recommend similar items, a dashboard for sales data, feature to create discount codes, various shipping features.
The item pages are not well organised, the item images are not always square, the buttons sometimes get hidden behind the image.

Over all this was the right solution for my company for the cost.
Woocommerce allowed me to use woo subscriptions for our online retail site, which is one of the only fixed cost subscription programs. Other subscription programs wanted to charge me a percentage of every sale which I thought was crazy! I would rather pay a one time or yearly software fee.
Woo Commerce can be very glitchy with other programs on Wordpress. I've had issues with my templates and changes are not always easy. The worst is when a update happens and then you have to go and find out all the issues that were caused and have to go back and figure out how to fix them.

Easy to use and straight-forward. Would recommend.
Very easy plugins for WordPress sites. Straight-forward and user friendly. Easy to add products, add pictures, set coupon codes, cross sell items.
A bit clunky in it's appearance on certain websites, especially with the "buttons". Seems to conflict with certain WP themes and had issues with the checkout and using the Square plugin as opposed to the default, Stripe, for payment processing.

Good, stable product. Excellent customizability. Very good SEO, and integration with other things, like Square, Quickbooks, etc. I would choose it for a big store, but might consider SquareSpace for something small, especially if booking is required. But if you want the most flexibility, I'd choose WooCommerce.
Free, and easy to install on an existing WordPress site.
It seems like you need a paid plugin for every extra feature, and they are all $80/year. It adds up!

I started by business by selling purchaseables through my blog. Woocommerce makes it easy to set up a retail front. I also like they they have postage integrated with it so I can print off shipping labels without leaving home.
I wish there was live customer support, especially when something goes wrong with a customers payment. You just have to email and they get back to you whenever they want. It would be nice to have someone on the phone who can troubleshoot in real time.

WooCommerce makes it easy for us to save money on setting up our own online shops and shops for client websites as well. It's definitely a bonus that it can be integrated into any Wordpress at no additional cost because not everyone can afford to pay enormous fees every month to run their online store, especially for new online retail shops.
Integrating WooCommerce to setup an online shop on literally any Wordpress website is extremely convenient! We love that we don't have to use a separate platform to integrate a shop onto custom websites that we've built.
Sometimes WooCommerce slows down the overall loading speed of Wordpress websites. It could be slightly more simplified for the not so tech-savvy web developer.

I like that it is widely integrated into Wordpress themes. I like that it's connected to Stripe and PayPal. It's automated emails are nice, as well. Plug-ins are nice (but they are expensive and often are required for things you would expect out of the box). It can be customized to some degree, which was helpful for us...in some other ways, it is a bit rigid and not quite what you would want if you are trying to replicate a retail experience.
I would never recommend this to anyone who wasn't very, very, very tech savvy. It is absolutely not an option for people who don't have a lot of web development experience. It tries to be a system on its own, but we have found you really have to simply take the purchase data out of Woocommerce and put it into your own CRM system. We have decided to stop using it for our purposes of registering students for classes. We may still use it for the sale of items, but probably not.

I really wanted WooCommerce to work for my business because it had a lot of features that Easy Digital Downloads doesn't -- but WooCommerce is not good for freelancers and those who sell services online. I was upset when I switched because even though EDD works better for my transcription services, I felt like I was missing out. WooCommerce is technically free, but you'll definitely need extensions to run your store -- and they add up quickly and can be costly. Overall, I'd say for retail and physical products, WooCommerce seems like an excellent option that I would absolutely recommend. BUT for freelancers, take the loss and stick with Easy Digital Downloads -- unless WooCommerce adds freelancing features!
- It has more features and customization than EDD in many ways. - Great way to make money with your online business and ecommerce. - WooCommerce is well-known and therefore more trusted than other plugins from my experience. - Several payment methods for customers including PayPal - Many extensions - You can create discounts and coupons for your customers, which is great.
- WooCommerce isn't good for freelancers. This was the dealbreaker for me and the reason I switched to Easy Digital Downloads, which has less features than WooCommerce. - WooCommerce is super difficult to figure out for newbies. You really need to be proficient in WordPress and website building to navigate it with ease. It's a bit overwhelming and intimidating at first, but so is WordPress in general! - Like most of the WordPress plugins which claim to be free, if you want full functionality and features, expect to spend money. Extensions are basically necessary to run your business and definitely add up quickly and can end up costly to run your store the way you want to. -

Before implementing WooCommerce, we were always "making do" with the solutions that other platforms would offer. A lot of times this felt that we were not only rationalizing/making excuses for those platforms' limitations, but we were overall just settling for a less than ideal fix. WooCommerce has allowed us to offer the complete online shopping experience that we've been striving to deliver to our clients.
After having used many other eCommerce platforms in the past (Square, Shopify, Wix etc...), I am left blown away by how completely customizable WooCommerce is. There is literally nothing that can not be done with this software - it's just a matter of figuring out how to get there. You want different shipping tables based on user IP location? No problem. Looking to have suggested items displayed depending...
As I mentioned above, dialing in the correct settings can be a bit laborious, but if you are patient and willing to do a little bit of research, there really is no limitation to what you can build.

WooCommerce is an amazing price of software, which can be used for inventory management and selling your goods online. This software is really good and has few features which makes it a notch above it's competition. This is a simply to use software and has a good user interface. You can integrate it with your website and customers can place your orders directly on your website.
There is room for some improvements and the plugins for different website builders should be available.

It's been great. There's lots of support with WooCommerce. There's lots of tutorials out there and it has huge functionality and variety in what you can do with it
The longevity and stability of this product are what really makes it stand out from competitors.
For larger clients, it requires many extensions and can be very challenging for individual owners of small teams.

Woocommerce is one of the most popular and powerful systems for building an e-commerce store. With WordPress, we can quickly develop and customize thems with our own design for the e-commerce store. It's easy to use and no need advance knowledge to build your e-commerce store. So I'm highly recommended to use woo-commerce for exploring your e-commerce store!
Nothing found any bedside about it. It's a great tool for developing an e-commerce site for me.

It has a lot of extensions for Wordpress allowing its users to fully customize their online shops or website. It has a big room for customizations as well, making your ecommerce site as personalized and fully functional as possible.
It is for advanced users and is not available for people with no technical background or coding knowledge. You might need an IT person to set this up and maintain it for you from time to time.

I use WooCommerce toghether with Subscriptions and Memberships add-ons for selling electronic products such as E-books, educational subscription based programs.
It's very easy to use and it has all the add-ons one could need in order to sell different products, services, courses, or programs. It's very easy to integrate with many payment gateways so the customers can pay using credit cards, wire transfer, even using crypto.
You have to pay extra for many add-ons, some of them may be expensive for small entrepreneurs on small budgets and low sales.

It is really easy to use and I am able to create a store in a few simple steps.
I was looking for a way to easily build an e-commerce store on my website and I found this. WooCommerce is an open source extension for WordPress to help you create an online store. It makes it easy to sell anything, beautifully. You can easily set up a store with just a few clicks. It's easily customizable, so you can change the look and feel. It includes an e-commerce shopping cart, a payment processing service, and support for several languages. It's a very flexible solution for creating online stores that can grow with your business.
Woocommerce is free, but additional costs for hosting.

Excellent experience with Woocommerce confirms that this platform is very profitable for online business. Integration with social networks is also possible.
Free tool for creating your own online store and the best opportunity to start e.commerce. It's not easy to implement if you don't have the technical knowledge and you don't know WordPress. Still, it pays to hire someone to help you. The choice of store themes is huge, so you have the opportunity to create an original and functional online store.
Although the service is free to create an online store, which is important for every beginner, you must pay for the domain for the store and hosting. So you have to calculate that the store on Woocommerce also has start-up costs.
