Pros

Great solution to build landing pages / small & big websites with low budget - but if you got the money the results will be amazing.
If you are a person who has many thoughts that you would like to publish or perhaps you like fashion and want to show that interest, then WorldPress is your best friend.
WordPress is really an amazing content management system, that allows you to build stunning and amazing websites within few hours.

Pros

Organization, everything is clear and easy to find, it permits to you optimize your time. Quality material is very good and professional videos, lectures, quizzes, etc. is in excellent quality.
The help features and guides are excellent and have helped my staff with the set up of our courses. It is end-user friendly and has been a great tool for instructors and students.
Pros: affordable $rates for small schools, ongoing improvement of software/addition of features, capability for audio/video recording, excellent and prompt technical support.

Cons

We've found ourselves stalled out badly with problems at times because a theme or plugin had terrible support.
The biggest problem with WordPress is the lack of understanding that it is a blog software.
As a result, I'm forced to disapprove and delete spam comments individually, and when you get hundreds of these kind of spam comments each week, you can imagine that it can be frustrating.

Cons

In addition, if there were more options for the type of test questions such as drag and drop.
Navigation is sometimes awkward. For example, getting to 'Notes' for a student, there is only one route.
It's difficult to find answers on the program itself.

WordPress LMS needs an upgrade

Reviewed 2 years ago

It has been an okay experience, I wish they could improve their LMS compared to the other ones available in the market.

Pros

It is a basic LMS platform. Includes most of the features needed in an LMS in comparatively the lowest possible pricing compared to other LMSs

Cons

Too many clicks are needed just to get into a Unit or add an activity. Extremely inconvenient for first-time users. Heavily text-based and can be confusing for learners to navigate through it.

WordPress

The king of CMS

Reviewed 4 years ago

Using it for years for blogs, sites and LMS systems.

Pros

Short learning curve. Versatile thanks to a huge collection of plugins. Easy to publish content. Easy to turn into an e-commerce platform.

Cons

While WP itself is free, premium plugins costs may sometimes be more expensive than simple buying a dedicated app. It is important to do a decent market research and be aware from the illusion of "free".

I am building LMS learning management system websites for my clients using WordPress. I am really satisfied with the features of WordPress.

A great blogging tool for teachers and students!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Wordpress is a very easy to use block design tool that allows you to easily drag and drop content in to place. It's very intuitive and user friendly.

Pros

WordPress is a great blog service that we heavily utilize at our school. Our journalism students use it to maintain blogs and several of our teachers use it to keep in touch with their classes. It is very intuitive and easy to use. It takes very little time to learn the platform.

Cons

All that wordpress offers is blogging and we now utilize several other services where blogging is a component offered by them. Some have switched to using our LMS for blogging.

WordPress is near perfect

Reviewed 2 years ago

All of our websites are built using WordPress, it suits all of our needs, including LMS, CRM, and HelpDesk support. We're pretty happy with the experience we're having with WordPress.

Pros

WordPress is nearly perfect, due to the ease of use and implementation, it requires no advanced knowledge for installation and building simple websites.

Cons

1- Advanced website customizations require the knowledge of web development languages such as PHP and DB engines like MySQL. 2- Certain plugins do not release updates and that may cause fatal errors with new WordPress versions, WordPress could consider backward compatibility.

Best CMS and Great Community

Reviewed 2 years ago

Besides using it to build profile websites, we use WordPress to build e-commerce websites, learning management systems (LMS), and intranet websites. It is pretty easy to customize and very robust.

Pros

WordPress is easy to use, develop, and have a great community. WordPress has evolved to be a robust engine to build websites with enterprise-level features. We use it exclusively to build client websites.

Cons

Many people associate open source like WordPress as a low-quality software, so we need to educate our clients that WordPress is credible and many big sites are using it.

WordPress

The Ultimate CMS

Reviewed 3 years ago

There should be no need to use any other CMS when you've got WordPress. We've created e-commerce sites, LMS sites, directories, download databases and simple run of the mills all with WordPress.

Pros

Honestly, everything about WordPress is awesome. As a web developer, I don't use anything else. Because it's open source, it's free to get started, and once you have an extended licence for a high quality theme you're really spending pennies to build a bespoke website. WordPress is incredibly easy to use - a 40 minute training session is more than enough for the majority of my clients - and functionality wise, there's essentially nothing you can't do, as the open source nature means there's a plugin for every feasible scenario.

Cons

I find that many clients are a bit scared to begin with because it feels like a space that novices shouldn't enter. They're more accustomed to the tacky builders that charge a fortune. Once they've been trained on the platform though, they never look back.

Very satisfied with Dropbox and plugins. All my clients and employers and myself are powered by Wordpress. It is free and opensource...

Pros

Wordpress used by millions of users like consultants, developers and entrepreneurs. It is easy to use CMS and available in multiple languages. The addons helps to run any type of businesses like News/Magazines, Blogs, LMS, corporate websites, directory websites and even a ecommerce marketplace... there are many security addons and database backup tools available for free and paid...

Cons

Wordpress should provide a built in plugin for automated backups of databases and media to a cloud platform like Dropbox or Drive.

WordPress

WordPress is the gold standard.

Reviewed 3 years ago

I am using WordPress to confirm people's first experience with me and lay out the options for working with me. Additionally, in another install, I run a training school using an LMS that provides a high-quality experience for my clients. WordPress makes it easy to deliver great results and manage my budget.

Pros

WordPress has a wide range of features that really makes anything you want to possible. With all the add ons in the catalog, you can find a capability expansion that makes your web vision possible with a minimum of work. You can absolutely make good things happen with the tools available and with just a few clicks you can receive payments, schedule appointments, maintain your web presence and manage social media. If your vision is clear, WordPress can make it a reality.

Cons

The sheer number of options can be a bit overwhelming, but if you have a clear sense of what you want to do you're in good shape. Definitely plan out what you want to happen before you begin and then you'll be able to bring it to reality. Be careful that you don't go searching for what might be possible while you think about your vision and definitely stick to your budget, as add ons can get expensive.

Reviewed 2 years ago

funny to descover it and to dive into it, each day am learning about a new plugin and I enjoy that really

Pros

1- there are dozens of plugins that can add alot of amazing features to your site. 2- you can learn using wordpress by yourself and when you master it you won't need a developer to create any site for you 3- many plugins are found for free so the cost sometimes might be extremely low 4- you can use the site for any field and in different ways (estore - LMS - Blog - company profiles) and so on 5- millions of video tutorials you will find in youtube about wordpress

Cons

at the beginning I though that it's hard to learn how to use it + I didn't know the features that will be provided, so I though the wordpress is only for bloggers, but when I dive in I changed my expectation about wordpress

Wordpress - Must Use for Your Website (Business or Personal)

Reviewed 3 years ago

I use it for my own business site and for client sites. It is my go to and the best experience possible out there and I have tried a lot. Consider that it covers everything: 1. Well suited and coded for SEO with supporting plugins. 2. Lot of security plugins which are necessary, effective and you need to use as it is a very popular platform and thus lots of hackers are interested in it. 3. Works congruently with Social Media platforms. 4. LMS / Drip Content / Paid Gateways - it's plugin for all that. 5. Ecommerce - Woo has that cover with a massive amount of plugin and options to get what you want done. WP just does it all and very effectively, I can't imagine using something else. Plus with the community support and the ecosystem, you'd be a full not to in the majority of cases.

Pros

Top 6 - Reasons to Use Wordpress (I'd write more but ran out of space) 1. The code is already there. Coming from a corporate design background (Historically I was an online marketing director and creative director). It is a massive relief not to have to rely on a programmer to get the functionality we need for a top performing and efficient website. 2. Design wise - there are a number of templates...

Cons

The new Gutenberg blocks - As an experienced WP user I don't like it. Probably would not affect a new user. I've disabled it with a plugin so all is well. Speed - WP can be slow if you overload it with plugins and extras. You have to keep an eye on that and take measure to make it fast (which is totally possible, just consider it part of the build).
