Pros

It's a pleasure to use WordPress for a person who does not know to code, all the features are just great. I just enjoy working with WordPress whenever I work on it.

What I like most: thousands of free plugins to make all of your functionality dreams come true, ease of use, support everywhere you turn, highly motivated “community” helps each other.

If you're good with coding, WordPress can be a really useful tool to help build a website that looks sleek and sexy.

Cons

The biggest problem with WordPress is the lack of understanding that it is a blog software.

Diego V.

We've found ourselves stalled out badly with problems at times because a theme or plugin had terrible support.

Kurt H.

Wordpress is really limited in its features and functionalities. More than that, the support for customers is bad.

WordPress

A decent tool not only for a blogger, but also for a company

Reviewed 4 months ago

I think WordPress is great, if you a) are a blogger or b) a company, which doesn't really care about the data security, so the potential leaks won't hurt so much. It's not hard to learn how to use it, and it creates a lot of opportunities.

Pros

WordPress is quite easy to learn, but via a lot of plugins, it does offer tons of possibilities – starting from creating the page, ending with writing articles. There are a lot of addons that allow checking stats like SEO, page views etc. Also, the text editing process is pretty simple, there aren't many distractors and options like bolding or customising paragraphs are available.

Cons

It might be hard to figure out what to do, if you do use too many plugins. Sometimes they might interrupt each other, so you have to be careful during the process of implementing them. Afaik from cybersecurity professionals WordPress also doesn't have quite good security systems and it is easy to hack.

Wordpress: Options galore but not intuitive

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, I love how Wordpress makes my sight visually appealing and gives me so many options. It's only the nitty-gritty details that can become quite confusing unless you really know programming well.

Pros

The availability of plug-ins and design options is fantastic, if not even overwhelming at times. I love that I can customize my site with just about anything I'm looking for, from modern-looking employee "meet the team" plug-ins to interactive calendars and media options. You really need to do some research on these options since there are so many to ensure you have the best one- but bottom line, they're available and many are free.

Cons

The site is not intuitive when you're looking to create a more high-tech, professional website. Simple websites are easy, but at some point you need to know programming. Even customizing the Posts section, where I have my blog, is not easy. There are little glitches like my text becoming unformatted and bolded when I click the numbering or bullet options, when I really just want the text to remain the same. I still haven't been able to resolve this, and imagine I would need a programmer to help, which is not in my budget.

WordPress

Love This Site

Reviewed 2 years ago

I have an overall amazing impression of WordPress. The functionality, the price (free), the ease of use, and the general aesthetic is well-thought out and implemented. I am very thankful for this website, and it does help solve a lot of problems in terms of marketing or even just getting my thoughts out there on the internet.

Pros

WordPress is easily one of my favorite sites to use. As someone who enjoys blogging in my spare time, it is the perfect tool for this activity. First, one of the best things about WordPress is the beautiful and varied themes available at no cost. Whether you want a more minimal, sophisticated, or colorful feel, there is truly an option for everyone. Not only are there different themes, but there are...

Cons

The only thing I do not like is that the free version has ads. However, I will say that this is obviously the "price" you have to pay for a free blog or website. I cannot truly complain about this since there are hundreds of other features about WordPress that make it truly worth the inconvenience of the ads.
